Excellent. This was a difficult job, given the grasspaper and the vaulted ceiling in the upstairs hall. The work was accomplished very professionally. Bo was extremely careful and very attentive to detail. He and the partner who joined him for two of the 3.5 days worked hard and efficiently. The end result looks wonderful. I am very pleased and definitely will call on ABS again.

The owner was very polite and professional. I think we received good value for our money. They were able to do all house repair needs.

Called and mentioned the Angie's List big deal that was currently running (1 painter for 8 hrs for $249 -or- 2 painters for 4 hours for $249) since I wanted to see about how long it would take to paint our 600 square foot space with 2 coats of paint. We were also working on a tight timeline to get this done since new carpet was being installed later that month and I didn't want paint drips (or even the possibility of paint drips) on the new carpet. I spoke with Adam & he was super helpful. Gave me a rough time estimate over the phone and said he could schedule me a day ahead of our carpet guy. He also said he would give me the Big Deal pricing for the first 4 hours (we decided 2 painters would be best given my time crunch). I had to call to reschedule when my carpet guy moved our install date, but Adam managed to move things around to keep me on my schedule. He then called a couple days ahead and said he could send his crew out a day earlier than we'd planned, if that was OK. That was fine by me! Bo and Tim arrived right on time and got to work quickly. They draped the carpet (even though I told them it was going to be replaced in a couple days) and were careful in taping off the recently painted woodwork. They worked quickly, but carefully and had both coats done in almost exactly 4 hours. Bo was trying hard to keep the hours to 4 so I wouldn't have to pay extra, but I told him I'd rather pay for an extra half or full hour than rush towards the end. He and I then went around the basement and flagged areas that needed little touch-ups. When it was all said and done, the basement paint job looked amazing and they were done in 4 hours + 45 minutes (which I offered to round to the next hour, but he said there was no need to do that). I was VERY pleased with how prompt, professional and honest these guys were! And Adam was easy to work with. I would definitely use ABS Interiors again! For some odd reason, they did not cut-in parts of the ceiling in one bedroom, but after calling the owner, they came back out the next day and finished the job. The price was very reasonable so the minor hiccup was something I could accept. I would use them again for future paint jobs (especially if they have more coupons).

The two man crew, led by Beau, did a really good job. They got to work and completed the project in the timeframe expected. The work was very good. I would use this company again.

They did a great job. The wallpaper was old and had not been properly installed so it was a very tedious job. I plan to have them back to paint some rooms that I need done.

These guys are exceptional!! I used them for wallpaper removal and liked them so well that I hired them for painting. The gentleman who did the painting, Bo, treated my house as if it were his own. He worked steadily each day. I found absolutely no do-overs. I found him to be honest, diligent, and personable. Several of the rooms were being painted much lighter than the old color, so he put two coats (plus primer in the rooms which had wallpaper removed) on them. I couldn't be more pleased with the job when it was finished. I do not think I have ever had a better paint job done in my house...either personally or by other professionals. If I need more painting done, I will immediately contact them.

I have used Adam's services in the past and the work done was great as always. Not only did he perform the work assigned, but also was able to touch up an area of drywall from a previous project that has cracked due to the house settling. The trim and repainted wood paneling look great. Will use again!

The gentlemen did arrive a bit late, but I was notified of the delay and they apologized profusely for the lateness. It was no problem though and they were actually right on time the second day. They did a great job of removing the old wallpaper (25 years old) from two bathrooms, fixing the drywall where necessary, and cleaning up afterward. They were very honest in keeping track of their hours and very professional. I so pleased with the work that I have requested a quote for the painting.

I needed to do some work on my house before I put it up for sale. The back door needed new woodwork around the door; I needed two interior doors replaced, and hung, and I needed some 1/4 round installed in the dining room. ABS was kind enough to let me cancel the first appointment due to a child's illness, and reschedule. All work that was done, was done well. The only issue I had was one of the doors wouldn't quite fit into the door frame, and so it was left unattached. The house still sold in spite of this. I did buy all the materials.

Exceptional!!!! Everything turned out better than expected. Extremely professional and very trustworthy. Hire them for your next project and you won't be dissapointed.

Adam, the owner, paid a lot of attention to detail and responded quickly to my concerns and made sure repairs met my expectations. His crew always showed a lot of respect but not quite the same attention to detail resulting in a few more visits than I expected. However, Adam was more than fair on pricing given the additional scope. The crew was very punctual and any delays were communicated as soon as possible, which I appreciated.

The task proved more difficult than anticipated. When they arrived the first day, they had no tools with them at all, and had to make a run to purchase appropriate tools. It was quickly determined that the paper had to be steamed off, and neither the workers, nor the company itself, had equipment to do this. Seemed odd for a company advertising wallpaper removal. They rented a steamer the first day, and purchased a steamer for use the next day. Despite these glitches, the employees seemed motivated to do a good job, and in the end the task was accomplished successfully.

Adam and team arrived exactly at the promised time. They were very professional and courteous. Adam suggested we use vinyl boards instead of wood to never have the rot issue again. He helped me pick out the right paint can from the many stored in the attic. After getting him started I felt comfortable leaving for my workplace. They completed the job to my satisfaction in a reasonable amount of time. The deck looks good now.

They were quick, prompt, professional. They did an excellent job. We're finishing our basement, we framed it ourselves, but decided to hire out the drywall for a professional look, which is what we got. No seams are evident, and they corrected some of our framing errors. Would definitely hire them again, they are also easy to deal with, friendly. They also said they do painting as well.

They were awesome,I dreaded the thought of having to strip the wall paper and I should have taken lessons on how they removed it so quickly :)

Adam was very responsive throughout the entire project. He always answered my phone calls or called back within a reasonable amount of time which is key when dealing with any contractor. There was one of the 7 doors which required custom framing as the existing hole was too large for a standard sized door. Adam was able to reframe for a negligible added cost. The new hallway is impeccable and we will be using them in the future.

After being very extremely happy with the carpentry work ABS Interiors did in our house, we called them back to paint our finished basement. Adam was very prompt getting back to us about scheduling a time for him to come out to give us an estimate. During the estimate, we walked through what needed to be done in the basement. It involved fixing various drywall issues before paint could be applied. We were very satisfied with the price quoted for the repairs and painting. This price not only included the cost of fixing the drywall in the basement, but also about 10 other places around the house. Adam and his crew showed up when they said they would and got right to work. They were able to do all of the repairs and 2 coats of paint in 2 days. We felt very comfortable leaving Adam and his crew to do their work while we were not there. In the end, we couldn't be happier with the way that it looks! We have not had the best of luck with contractors over the years so it has been really great working with ABS Interiors. They have delivered quality work in the time frame that was agreed upon for a great price. We will be having ABS Interiors back to do more work for us in the future.

ABS stepped in when our original contractor failed to honor Angies Big Deal. They were able to complete the work within a short time period. They were on time, worked very efficiently and completed the work in two days. They helped putting the rooms back together after they finished. The quality of their work was excellent would not hesitate to use them again

I realized after I went to the hardware store to buy the supplies for the project, that I would be able to do the carpentry work on my own. I had spoken with the gentleman from ABS and I would consider using his services in the future for work I am not able to do on my own.

I recently had a closet remodeled by a handyman who was recommended by a neighbor. The remodel included widening the closet doorway from 2' to 5' and, unfortunately, the handyman isn?t too skilled on detail work or installing doors. The door jamb was slightly bowed which caused the door to bind and hang unevenly. I decided to take advantage of Angie?s $99 Deal for three hours of carpentry work to see if the messy door job could be corrected. The $99 Deal was with ABS Interiors of Mid-Ohio. Adam of ABS called the next day and we scheduled an appointment for that Friday. Adam arrived on time and was courteous and professional. He went to work right away, first sanding and planing the door jamb to get a level edge. He then proceeded to address the uneven doors by adjusting the brackets back and forth, top and bottom until the doors were finally flush and not binding anywhere. He was not satisfied until the doors were hanging as intended. Adam also lightly sanded the top of the doors to smooth out some unevenness and choppiness apparently left from previous cutting. The doors look great now. Adam thoroughly cleaned the work area before leaving and, because the job took slightly less than three hours, offered to take care of any other small jobs I might need done. I had none, but will call ABS if future projects arise. I would highly recommend ABS Interiors to others.
