It was a very disappointing experience. There was absolutely nothing in the home except appliances. I wanted everything cleaned, window sills, baseboards, walls wiped down. A crew of 4 showed up but I think it was the first day for at last 2 of them possibly 3. They upsold me on cleaning the windows. This is a very old farmhouse and there is plexiglass on the inside for insulating purposes. In the parlor the windows were very streaky. The crew leader needed me to point that out and kept me on the clock while they recleaned them. Windowsills were left dusty I later found items under a radiator that were from the previous owner so they did not clean under those. When my mom came later that day she said, and quot;I thought you were hiring someone to clean?and quot; I think the crew leader should go through and inspect all of the work before she asks the homeowner to do so. This implied to me she didn't want to do any more than was absolutely asked for, even though they didn I would never hire them again and would recommend anyone thinking of having this work done to use someone else. UPDATE: This is a copy of the email I received from Jeremy followed by my response. Hi Kathy, I read the negative review that you wrote about us on Angies List. I am disappointed that you didn't contact our office after the clean to share your opinion nor did you provide us an opportunity to make things right. Now a year later you find it nesacary to bad mouth us in the poor review you wrote on Angies List. If this is any reflection of how you operate in the professional world or how you conduct yourself with your real estate business, I myself would not feel comfortable referring any of the hundreds of customers we serve on a monthly basis to you or Star One Realty. Your poor review is not a accurate reflection of VesCo or how we operate and quite frankly seems filled with spite and malicious intent. If your discontent with our service was so great why didn't you simply let us know? We would have addressed the issue right away and would have made satisfactory arrangements with you. I have spent 15 years in sales 10 of those years in banking and I am very familiar with the real estate community in Cincinnati. I have owned and operated VesCo since 2008 growing from 12 cleans per month to over 300+ as of now. We did not experience this type of growth by offering the type of service you described in your review. I understand the value of generating a good business reputation and I would assume that a professional in your field would too. It would be my assumption that you would understand that communication is a key element in customer satisfaction and that you would find it refreshing to be able to rely on the ability to have open and responsive dialogue with a company that you do business with. Yet you have provided no such opportunity for us to communicate and simply acted on emotion. That is very disappointing and really reflects on your professional ability to overcome obstacles and manage your own satisfaction. If you cannot properly manage your own satisfaction through common diplomacy and communication how can you possibly manage your customers satisfaction? I have no personal issues with you or who you are because I do not know you personally. But your choice to handle your discontent with our service really leaves a lot to be desired and does not reflect honesty or a realistic approach to a customer service issue that could have been taken care of so easily. I do recognize that at times we may not always be able to please every customer the first time but I do expect a reasonable thought process to be exercised and the opportunity to correct mistakes. I simply reviewed (accurately) the service I received from your company as I do with all my reviews. If you check my reviews of other companies you will find that I did most of them that day and some were even longer than 1 year out. You state you have no personal issues with me in your last paragraph but the rest of your email reads that you do. Had your crew put as much effort into cleaning my home as you have venom in this response you may have gotten a more favorable review. Your crew was courteous and I didn't dislike any of them. I just was not happy with the service they provided. I must say my review of your performance and now your professional attitude comes from having done business with you. You cannot say the same for your review of my professionalism or customer service skills. I would not expect you to refer me to any of your 100's of customers. You've never done business with me, why would I expect you to refer me? This home was a 3500 Sqft, 162 year old home that had remodeling done and was booked as a move in clean. We completed this cleaning on 07-23-2012 and it took a team of four 4.5 hours. Windows were cleaned not as an upsell but as a job requirement. This was an hourly rate job so there was not an additional fee added to the total for cleaning windows but we did have to charge for the time it took to clean them. In the summer of July 2012 it makes total since that there may have been at the most 2 new people on a 4 person team because we were experiencing an increase in new people to adjust to our growth. My wife Chrissie was the lead on this team and completed a walk through with the customer after completing the job. There were no complaints at that point and we have not heard about any un satisfaction from this customer until we read this review. I cannot apologize for growth or having new people. We are clear with our Guarantee, 100% satisfaction or we will re clean anything that needs to be re cleaned at no charge to the customer. In this instance there was no communication from the customer indicating that she was not satisfied even after a walk through. We cannot service customer needs if we are unaware that there is a problem. We are always happy to address all situations and eager to work issues out in our customers favor. In our opinion this customer should have made us aware of her complaint so we would have an opportunity to service her needs and make things right. Without that opportunity this report should not have been written. We are always very eager to address any quality issues and we are always willing to do the right thing with happy hearts. Customers who do not communicate their opinions about our work really miss out on Superior Service. We understand that some customers will not always be happy in the beginning but we expect customers to give us the opportunity to make sure we can provide satisfaction in the end. This is how we operate, expect nothing less from us but you have to let us know. After scheduling a pre-move-on cleaning with a very lovely sounding woman who touting the integrity of the company that was built on Christian principles, I had high expectations and was convinced I had made the perfect choice to assist preparing for moving day. However, they sent several young men and women (teenagers/college age) to clean the empty house. I had requested a thorough cleaning of shelves, kitchen, bath, floors - no windows or other extras. They did a horrible job, including scratching the surface of my range by scouring it with steel wool (I was at the house and saw the young woman do this - she was complaining how it was ruining her manicure.) The young men were joking around. The whole set-up needed supervision by someone who was actually an experienced cleaner. After I complained to the owner, they sent a woman out who did wipe out the shelves in my kitchen cabinets and remove the dust from the ceiling fans, but overall, it was an extremely disappointing experience. Initially, I withheld payment, but eventually did pay. The owner called several times - each time insisting on full payment and denying that what I was telling him was true. I relented and paid - the owner offered a free regular house cleaning service to showcase what their business really could do, but I never took that offer. Frankly, I did not want that crew in my house ever again. Every time I look at the scratched surface of my range, I am reminded of the example of poor service!

The overall experience was excellent. Dawn and her two team members arrived when promised and were very courteous and professional. I would definitely use this company again. I have already recommended VesCo to a family member who is going to use them to get a house move-in ready.
Description of Work: Deep housecleaning. Dawn and her team cleaned ceiling fans in kitchen, three bedrooms and bathroom. Vacuumed and dusted the bedrooms, office, living dining room, front parlor and kitchen. Mopped all hardwood and tiled floors. Scrubbed two bathrooms and cleaned two ovens in kitchen.

Repeated problems getting the same cleaning issues solved. Said the owner would come with the crew for 2-3 visits and this happened once. Bathrooms and kitchens are top priority and I addressed these concerns with the owner, who assured me they would be handled. Happened 3 consecutive visits that these rooms weren't cleaned well, so service cancelled. How can a cleaning company not know how to clean stainless steel sink drains and toilets????

It is much to our regret that this report has been generated. We have made every attempt to satisfy the member but unfortunately for us we failed. When she first became a customer she had issues with our pricing so I discounted her rate so she would be happy. We cleaned for her from 09-12 thru 12-12 and that equated to about 4 or 5 cleanings. We didn't require her nor did she commit to be on a specific service cycle and we provided her the freedom to simply choose her clean dates. I kept detailed notes about this account and have held many meetings with my staff in regards to the quality issues we faced with this account. Apparently she is very particular about her stainless steal shower hose and her kitchen sink. We put a lot of energy into getting this right and I sent my wife who is co owner of the company down there on numerous service calls. After reviewing her account her notes show that she has filed a complaint after every cleaning we performed. We book over 300 cleanings a month and I can tell you every now and then we run into situations such as this. Any potential customer or current customer reading this please understand that it is our commitment to do what ever we can to satisfy our customers with no questions asked. Some people we fail to satisfy but it is not from a lack of effort on our part. It usually boils down to an individuals level of commitment to us and what that individual wants to tolerate. We understand the importance of getting the job done right but we are human. We understand that it is impossible to please everyone so I want to leave you with the last email correspondence I had with this customer so you can see how we handle business. To be fair I have included this customers complaint and our response. If anyone reading this feels we could have handled the situation better please share your opinion with us because we are always trying to become a better company. My name is Jeremy Vesper and I own VesCo Residential Cleaning and I am committed to my customers even if they are not committed to us. Below is the correspondence. Jeremy, I was not satisfied with this weeks cleaning. Specifically, the kitchen sink wasn't clean again. Same exact issue as previous times. The stainless drain is still brown in color. I have brushes and cleanser, but know it is more an issue of hard scrubbing that is needed. The stairs carpet wasn't cleaned with a crevice tool or similar, so none of the joints of the carpet were clean. The steps were, but there was still lots of stuff in the joint where the step back and step meet. The toilets were cleaned, but the seats weren't clean. They had lint, I guess from the towels, but the seats were grimey, not shiney and slick, like the rag was dirty when they were finally wiped off. I don't understand why I have to have these problems most of your staffs visits. The last time when your wife came, things were ok. I thought there was a supervisor that inspects after the cleaning before they leave the house. He/she should have seen these items. There are other little things not worth mentioning that my previous companies did. Example: deep clean a different area each visit. Thanks for your efforts in all this, but I don't think your wife or I should have to police the team each visit. These issues are things that shouldn't happen. I can't have this problem and responsibility each visit. I am cancelling the service for now. EXCELLENT SERVICE. I cannot be happier with their services. My house was rented for 2 years and the tenants look like never clean it, so the house needed a deep clean.They came in a team of 4 and extremely quickly went to work. They cleaned for 4 hours, and they left he house spotless. At the end April (the team leader) asked me to check everything and there was some spots on the oven, so she went and cleaned all by herself, leaving the house completely clean and nice. Net I strongly recommend their services.

The owner came and talked to me about what I wanted done, then provided a quote. We set a date and 4 house cleaners appeared and got to work immediately with their own cleaning products, etc. I did not have to do anything (but stay out of their way). They returned a 2nd day to wash walls and were very efficient, again. Prior to them coming to wash the walls, I did remove any hanging art, etc. so they had a and quot;clean sweepand quot; and could get the job done without all the dismantling.
Description of Work: Complete house cleaning and washed walls in certain rooms. They did a GREAT job cleaning the house after I had heart surgery and they were very FAST. I felt the price was reasonable for the amount of work required; I have a 4 bedroom home (I did not have them touch the finshed basement.) They did deep cleaning, such as cleaning my non-self-cleaning oven. Ugh! I would recommend these folks to friends and I would call them again.

I have been a regular customer of VesCo for about 1.5 years. They do quality work and use excellent cleaning products that leave our home looking and smelling clean and fresh. The team coming to the house has changed a little over time, but they still do great work.

Most areas were cleaned well, but a few were not on all the 3 visits prior. This was addressed with the owner and she came out the next day and cleaned the areas that were deficient. The owner was supposed to come out with the crew last visit and 1 more time. She wasn't listed on the paperwork the last time, so not sure if she came as she said she would. Don't think the deficiencies would have occurred if she was here to review the job. The owners are very responsive and address issues promptly. The deficiency hasn't been completely corrected, but they are due for another (the 4th) visit next week. Hopefully, it will be excellent then.

The first cleaning (9/26/11) was a "deep" clean costing $200. Not only did they ask my husband to help reach and dust the ceiling, they missed several spots. The second cleaning was fine, but after the third time they came on 10/27/11, I noticed that my dining room drapes had been caught in the vacuum creating a large hole. I called owner Jeremy Vesper who agreed to come see my concern. Five days later he came by and agreed that there was indeed damage. He said he would "make things right." A few days later, I noticed that my bedroom drapes had also been torn by the vacuum cleaner. I called Jeremy again to report the additional damage. At this point, Jeremy denied his crew had anything to do with the damage. After 8 months of negotiations through the Better Business Bureau, Jeremy refunded the cleaning fees ($500), but refused to pay for the replacement of the drapes--an amount substantially higher than $500.I have no good words to say about this business owner. He is inexperienced and unprofessional. Please reconsider before hiring Vesco Residential Service.
Description of Work: Vesco Residential Cleaning came to my house three times from 9/26/11 to 10/27/11 to clean my house. The first cleaning was a "deep" clean which cost more than the following visits. They were to do a whole house cleaning--4 bedrooms, 3.5 baths, living dining room, family room, kitchen, laundry room and lower level by dusting, vacuuming, sanitizing bathrooms, washing hardwood floors.

Out of 4 years of work this is the only F we have ever received and I truly believe it is unwarranted and out of spite. Her only complaint was that we damaged property (1 drape) and I had a clear conversation with her and other than that she was happy with our work, price and all of the above. Now for Angie’s list that has seemed to change. The BBB closed this complaint as resolved and believe me we tried to resolve this with Member without BBB intervention but Member's perception of reality was a little distorted. There are pictures of the damage on the BBB report. The damage to her (single) silk drape was not consistent with running it over with a Vacuum. I knew that when I first viewed the damage at her home. The damage was consistent with an iron burn as the fabric was melted and the picture we provided to the BBB show a clear view of an iron mark right below the burn. I knew Mrs. Donaldson’s complaint was a little sketchy when she changed her story to include damaged sheers on the second floor. She originally told me face to face that the only damage she was complaining about was the 1 silk drape on the first floor. She stated that there is damage to her sheers on the second floor but she did that herself by running it over with a Vacuum. When I asked to look at the damaged sheers she was a little upset with me and didn’t want to let me look at them. Reluctantly she let me view them and indeed they were shredded from the edge of the sheer about 7 inches up. I just wanted to compare the damage of the sheer to the damage on the drape and sure enough it was a totally different type of damage. In my mind that pretty much told me that we did not run the drape over with a Vacuum, not to mention we have a strict policy for reporting damage and after I spoke with our team, they were very adamant that they did not damage her drape. We also had to use her Oreck (under her instruction) which is the basic model with a very low guard and as I inspected the Vac there was no trace in or on that Vac that suggested it sucked up a drape. The drape itself was not stretched or pulled and was perfectly in place within the window frame. After we had agreed to replace her drape she sent us an estimate for $2400.00 to replace 4 Drapes and 2 of her sheers on the second floor. When I questioned my service manager as to why the estimate included the sheers, I was informed that Mrs. Donaldson said that we damaged those too. After I heard that I knew Mrs. Donaldson was playing games and I was pretty much sure of that. Mrs. Donaldson originally paid $2400.00 for 8 drapes at Macy's around 5 years ago. She sent me an estimate to replace 4 drapes for around $2400.00 and included some extras that she admitted doing damage too. Why would she do that? She paid around $300.00 per drape but wanted us to pay $537.50 per drape for something we didn’t do. We are very reasonable people and we always take care of our customers and if we are going to make an error we will do so in the customers favor. I was willing to buy her a pair of drapes even though I believed we didn’t cause the damage and we were very nice about everything. It was only when I felt Mrs. Donaldson was trying to take advantage and be dishonest that I grew tired of her wicked ways. We cleaned for Mrs. Donaldson 3 times from Sept through the beginning of Nov 2011. For those 3 cleans she was charged a total of $500.00. I simply refunded Mrs. Donaldson the $500.00 she paid us and moved on. To me that was the right thing to do. We have a situation in where we know a customer is not being honest but we were going to pay for the damage anyway. Then the customer gives us an estimate that is way out of the realm and scope of her complaint, has a very rude and evil attitude and basically belittles us every chance she gets. I figured if I just refund the $500.00 that would be adequate and the BBB agreed. I have never had a customer call me about damage that was not reported. This is the first time something like this has ever happened. We have never damaged any drapes or been accused of damaging drapes with a vacuum cleaner by any other customer. The damage to Mrs. Donaldson’s drape was clearly an iron burn and you can see that clearly on the BBB report on the picture. Although we did not believe we damaged the drape we were ready to replace it and we refunded Mrs. Donaldson $500.00. She excepted our check and took it the bank, by doing that she agreed that this matter is settled, still this continues to live on. My final analysis is this, Mrs. Donaldson didn’t get her way because it was not the truth, I called her out on that fact and now she is doing what ever she can to ruin our reputation. We are still A rated with the BBB and this matter is labeled as resolved. We are still going to be A rated with Angies List because doing bad business is the opposite of what we do and 99% of our customers agree. We are growing to be a household name in Cincinnati because we care about people and we are here to serve with open and honest hearts. That by no means is any indication that we are idiots, we know when someone is trying to get over on us and we don’t stand for that nor do I think any company should. If that were the case no company would be in business. If you are a consumer reading this, the company you work for would not be in business if that were the case. I don’t hold any grudges against Mrs. Donaldson and we are ready to move forward, it is my hope that she can too. This is a message to any consumer considering our company for cleaning services. My wife and I grew this company from the ground up. I left 5/3 bank in 2008 to join my wife to grow this company because we wanted to start something that would make a difference in peoples lives and we enjoy serving people. We feel that serving is what we were placed on this earth to do and we have been called to do so. We take our customers satisfaction very serious and we make every effort to please everybody. We are accountable for all of our actions and we have worked hard to build a solid reputation. Yes it is a little discouraging to have a report like this because it makes me think to myself that all of my hard work is going down the drain because of one customers negative comments and it bothers me but I know what we are doing in Cincinnati is bigger than one bitter customer and we are really making a difference in peoples lives. I look at how far we have came from 12 customers in 2008 to over 300 in 2012. I guess it is reality for any business that the larger you they become that the business will be subject and exposed to some sort of negativity or run in with a customer that doesn’t have honest intentions and I view this as our first experience. Overall it was great service, the owner and his staff were very professional, friendly and responsive. I would highly recommend them.
Description of Work: We had Vesco come to our house 2 times for cleaning. The first initial cleaning took a while but our house was in bad shape. They did an amazing job. They sent 3 ladies who divided up the cleaning. I've never seen our bathroom so clean. They did an awesome job with our hardwood floors also. There were some things they didn't get to (ie: vaccuming the drapes in our bedrooms) but when I asked about it for the next time they said they would add it to our list.

I needed a whole house, deep clean, for an upcoming event I was hosting at my home. As I describe above in the details of service, they did a fantastic job! I would highly recommend them for this type of service. They are pricey because they do such a deep clean, which I would consider if I could afford on an on-going basis. From beginning to end, very professional.
Description of Work: They did a deep, whole home clean. I was not present during the house cleaning. They did a deep clean service and it was spotless when I came home (corners, edges, baseboards, shelving, etc) and I have an old home. They were professional, prompt and as mentioned, thorough. I would definitely use them again for special events but cannot afford to spend this much on a routine basis. They specialize in deep cleaning and do not provide custom services (such as only doing a part of the home cleaning). Their price does decrease for ongoing services (I was quoted 175 for a once per month clean or 150 every other week) which really is fair considering how thoroughly they clean.

I selected Vesco from Angie's List based on their ratings and owner comments about the business. The crew actually showed up early (yay!). When they arrived, I toured them through the house, pointing out the areas I wanted them to give the most attention to. Throughout the time they were here, the team leader asked me to inspect their work and provide feedback. I was very pleased with the work and the positive attitude of the team while they were in my home. It was such a blessing for me to have a clean new home before moving my things in the following day.

Lori, Tish, and Mandy arrived in the timeframe given; only complaint was that they called my home number, not my cell, as I had requested. They worked nonstop for almost 2 hours and did an excellent job. The house smelled so clean!

VesCo called while enroute to the house to let me know they were ahead of schedule and to see if it was ok that they arrive earlier than expected. The 4-person crew got right to work and were finished with the house in just under two hours. I inspected the upstairs once they had moved on to the first floor and was thrilled with the quality of their work. The master bathroom was spotless, including the shower door which is next to impossible to keep clean due to the hard water in our house. The person cleaning our kitchen also did a fantastic job with our stainless steel sink which is also impossible to get completely clean. VesCo even cleaned our mudroom which is a bit of a disaster area! My wife and I could not be happier with the quality, skill, and quickness VesCo's job. We will definitely have them back on a monthly basis. Even though VesCo's prices are a slightly higher than the other cleaning services, the quality of the work more than makes up for it. We have used two of the other name brand corporate and quot;Maidand quot; services in the past and VesCo is light years better than them in both quality of service, and also ease of dealing with scheduling staff. Hats off to VesCo! Great Job!

Description of Work: I'm a little out of their usual area, however, they were able to combine my job with another job just south of me and squeeze me into the schedule. They did a wonderful job on my house. I have 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms a finished basement and a finished attic. I had a deep clean which included all my windows, light fixtures and ceiling fans. My primary bathroom needed extra attention on the shower doors. They dusted furniture, put fresh linens on the bed and changed out the duvet cover, swept and mopped the floors and moved the furniture to sweep under.

They did the work for two hours. I like them because they are efficient. They do everything that they say they are going to do. They are also open to any suggestions or personal requests because there were a couple of things that I would really like them to concentrate on the next time they come.

The team was energetic and positive. Worked hard and have great potential. Bathrooms were especially well done, perhaps need more experience in other areas. Overall good experience. The reason I will not call again is we have moved to different city.
