It went very well. Our project started in September of 2014 with conversations about what we wanted - an outdoor living space seated next to a driveway/basketball court and our home. My husband and I are not good at envisioning completed projects, but we had a goal. John helped us plan out the space, make necessary changes (I had some concrete lifted to even out my driveway) and Pat came with his crew to execute the plan. They were there from start to finish. They showed up at every appointed time and were ready to work. They cleaned up everything when they were finished. They are creative, thoughtful and efficient. I could not have asked for better listeners or service providers. My husband can be very stingy about paying others for doing work. However, he completely agreed that this project was worth every penny. I would add a plus to every A listed above.

No Limits Landscaping was great to work with. John met with us twice to design a layout that we were happy with. We liked that he does these on an individual basis - no two designs are the same. He included the features that we wanted, including a sitting wall, and a design around our grill. His landscaping design - trees, shrubs and plans - were perfect. During one of the days of removing the existing slab, a piece of concrete hit our glass sliding door and shattered the glass. We were contacted immediately, and No Limits covered the cost of the repair and new glass without hesitation. The No Limits team was extremely professional and polite. We would definitely use them again for future projects.

We had used No Limits Landscaping in the past and they did an excellent job so we asked them for an estimate on this project. The owner came out to go over what we wanted and provided the estimate within the time frame he promised. Once we gave him the go-ahead, they contacted us with the day they would start the project. They arrived exactly on the day promised to set the posts for the pergola and kept us informed on each step of the project. The project was completely exactly as we requested and we are very happy with the results. We would definitely use them again and would highly recommend them to be included in any estimates you get for any outside project.

My initial call was returned promptly. A fair estimate was provided. It was a relatively small job and I was informed that crews would be out asap depending on weather conditions they might have at other jobs, I was told they would fit me in and assumed it would be within a week. The next day they showed up for the afternoon, because a prior job had a stoppage, they completed half the job by laying the brick, they did not groute due to the wet weather conditions that day. They came back out the next dry day and finished the job. I hardly knew they were there, they showed up, got to work and left. Like little elves.

We couldn't have been more pleased with the service we received. From start to finish, they were professional. We felt the price was reasonable and were happy with the drawings and design presented. The work was completed in a timely manner. The finished product was exactly what we wanted, and the crew was polite and cleaned up everything before leaving. We highly recommend this company.

We had shut off irrigation to that area but the guys repaired so if there is a need to use it again we will have it.

First visit was to check out the area, discuss the materials and sketch out a preliminary plan. Met with me at the paver company to pick out the color and type of pavers to be used. They had to coordinate the job with a waterproofing company who were also involved with a problem under the old patio. They met with them and to make sure everything was going to be done in the right order. They were very patient with all of my questions. They kept me informed of each step. French drains were installed to solve drainage problems also. The patio and wall are beautiful. They seeded and graded the lawn that had been in the work area. Were very thorough with clean up everyday. I plan to have No Limits Landscaping come back in 2014 to add landscaping around part of my new patio!

No Limits Landscaping is a great outfit! Aaron Stang is a pro; a pleasure to work with on the design and planning of our project. The crew was hard working and fast. No Limits Landscaping transformed our 50 year old front yard into a modern masterpiece! I highly recommend No Limits Landscaping's services; their quality and value are unmatched.

John did a thorough walk-through with us to assess our needs and wants and price range. After drawing up plans, he sat down with us and went over everything, including options for plantings. Once contracts were signed, a start date was agreed upon and work was begun. Pat and his crews did a great job and kept us informed of everything they were doing to implement the plan. It turned out beautifully!!! We've gotten several compliments from our neighbors and one even asked Pat to come over and talk to them. We would definitely recommend them to anyone needing landscaping work to be done.

Went extremely well! We love our new front yard. This is the second time that we have used No Limits; the first was for our back patio project which we love too. For both projects, they did what they said they were going to do, when they said they were going to do it, for the price estimated. The crew was extremely professional, and most of the gentlemen were the same ones that worked on both projects telling us that John treats his employees well. We also liked that when making the plan, John used some of our existing plants when able therefore cutting some of the cost. We have and will recommend them to many!

I was looking for ideas for a new deck or patio on the back of our home. I contacted three companies and received 2 bids for varying ideas. John Smith came to our home and spoke to me about my ideas. He asked me what my budget was and then asked us to give him a week to design a plan. He normally charges for his time to design the plan but he offered to do it for us without charge. We were in the process of selling a home and I planned to use funds from that sale. John returned as he stated one week later and presented his plan which I really liked and he came in within budget. During that week the sale of our former home fell through and I told John that we were not prepared to do any work at that time. I felt badly for putting him to the work that he did for us and offered to pay some for it. He had said he would do it with charge and he refused to let me pay him. I have a lot of respect for him and know he would have done a beautiful job. In the mean time I have re-stained the deck we have and will not make any changes for the present time.

What impressed me is their quality. They were small enough that you got the right amount of attention. They are just a solid company.

We had a hill on our yard and in order to do the patio, more work needed to happen because of the hill and they were very honest with us about what that work would entail and how much it would cost. They didn’t want to do the work unless they did that extra work because they knew the patio might last only 3 years as opposed to 20 years.

This was a super company to work with. They really really cared that we were happy with the job. John Smith designed patio and was over here almost everyday to check on progress. Pat and his crew of Roger and Trent worked hard to make sure pavers were just like we wanted. They asked for approval of various options of paver design as they worked. Did a beautiful job and we couldn't have been happier with their work and nice attitudes.

No Limits was one of 7 different contractors that we talked to. We selected them because they offered what we believed to be the best combination of service, quality/capability and cost. Specific things that they did that I really liked: Provided, free of charge, a professionally drafted sketch of what the patio would look like along with a detailed quote - I had provided them with a sketch drawing of my design thinking. They took the time to take the key elements of my drawing and translate it into a sound design based on their expertise. They shared this with me along with a detailed quote to help me understand cost breakdown. Most companies will charge you for this initial drawing and often won't REALLY think about what the design needs to be until you've agreed to use them as your contractor. No Limits was the only company that I felt really listened to what I wanted and made an honest effort to develop a good proposal for me to consider. Prior to signing, the others just "hand wave" the details and focus on telling you how great they are and how much you'll love the patio once installed.. Quality is number 1 - No Limits meets and in some instances exceeds industry guidelines for paver patio installation. Normal practice calls for the sand/rock base of the pavers to extend 3/4" past the brick border. No Limits builds their base 1" past the brick border edge. This may seem like a small thing but it indicates to me their desire to provide you a high quality product that will last for years to come. A slightly larger base will directionally improve stability of the paver patio minimizing shifting of the pavers over time. Their experience has led them to make this minor change to improve the quality of the product they deliver to their customers. They also refuse to pave over an existing concrete patio. A lot of installers will do this. It saves money and time but the risk you run is shifting of the pavers with time due to variation in the quality of the base. This will often show up as a split between the pavers installed on the concrete patio and those installed on gravel/sand base. It might take 5-7 years for this split to happen but it will happen. Fast, courteous service - The total time for patio installation was on the order of 2 to maybe 3 days (in between rain showers). They did the work quickly and efficiently, re-landscaped the portions of my yard that were torn up due to the install and followed up in the subsequent weeks to make sure I was happy and didn't need anything else. I was so impressed, I asked them to do additional general landscaping around my house and will probably call them back this spring for a clean-up and a little additional work we want done. Didn't cash our check until the job was done - Their president told me this is a way he's found to help manage his cash flow. For me it also indicated their believe in doing things right and not taking payment until the job is done and the customer is happy. I can't say enough good things about this company. Their cost was about average of all the installers I called. They do a great job and we LOVE our new patio.

Both projects were completed professionally and a good value for the work completed. John Smith asked questions to make sure he understood what we were looking for, and provided expertise on what would work and what wouldn't. He explained what was involved in completing the project so we understood what to expect. We are delighted with the results and already have a request for a third project to be completed in the Spring.

No Limits Landscaping, and John Smith were great to work with. Our landscape design was developed with our aesthetic preferences and our budget in mind. I would recommend their services without hesitation.
