Guaranteed Roofing

I was a little skeptical because of all of the glowing reviews about this company. Believe the reviews! Matthew did an excellent job from our first meeting. He listened carefully to my concerns about the inadequate ventilation with the existing roof and came up with the best solution of the five companies that we contacted. We had been having problems with the existing gutters and he showed us the reason that we had been having problems. Although not the lowest bid, I had the most confidence in his proposal and his responsiveness to our concerns. Matthew showed up with the crew, headed by Joe, by 7 AM within a week of our acceptance of the bid. They immediately went to work. It is obvious that the crew is very experienced. They worked very hard and with few breaks all day long. Matthew was on site often during the day to inspect the job and give direction. They finished the main job by about 7 PM and spent the next 2 hours cleaning up. The job site was as clean as it was before they began. The gutters and downspouts and soffit vents were installed over the next two days (shortened both days by rain). Once again, Matthew was on site frequently and made sure that everything was done properly and left clean. Guaranteed Roofing exceeded all of my expectations.

They were very good. We were happy with them. They came when they said they would. They were prompt, quick and they did a good job. They put in a full day from 9:00 to 8:00 at night so alsomst all of it done and it took 6-8 woring days.

Met with Matthew for the first time to discuss costs and services. He was very professional and explained what was to be done and what was covered and the type of materials used. Other roofers either said no cost because they would "work with the insurance company and they would cover ALL costs", so no contract or written guarantee. Other roofers use products that did not meet what Guaranteed Roofing was going to use. They started early Monday, and when they got down the the bare wood, they discovered that the 40+ year old plywood was bad to the point it was dangerous to walk on and the old wood wouldn't hold a nail. So i agreed to have them remove all of the wood and replace it. This took time to gather the additional 59 sheets of wood and install and place. During the job, Matt took many pictures showing what was found and how it was done. He took the time to show me the old plywood were I could see how bad it was for myself. The crew worked very quickly and covered up or move all yard items out of the way. Since the project took over the promised one day, the crew cleaned up and made my garage useable during thatt night. The next morning they finished the garage and other minor work, cleaned up sweep, and picked up ALL trash and nails. The job cost more, but now I have a brand new, top of the line roof guaranteed for 35 years. I and my wife are very happy with the work that Matt and Guaranteed Roofing did.

Everything went great ... they arrived on time, performed the roof inspection and made a few minor repairs while they were up there. Once completed, they showed me pictures of what was done and gave me the results of the inspection. Bryan clearly explained everything and answered all my questions. Everything was done in about an hour and I'm happy to report that I've still got some life on my roof. :)

From the beginning to the end, I was very impressed with Jason and Guaranteed Roofing. We had 4 companies give us quotes for the roof ; all gave us comparable bids. We decided with Guaranteed Roofing because of the professionalism and knowledge that was demonstrated from the very beginning. Jason was very patient with me as I decided on a roof color. As requested, he would send me pictures of different roofs and give me suggestions and feedback on what he thought would be best. As soon as I made a decision on shingle color, the products were delivered within a week to start the job. The work had to be delayed because of rain. But as soon as the weather cleared, Jason had his team out here at 6:45am. Within 2 hours they had the old roof off. We were very impressed with how quickly and efficiently Jason's crew worked. Jason had originally told us it could be a two day job; they got it done in one day! I could hardly believe the mess that I saw around our house at noon, and how by 5:30 there was not a trace that they had even been there. Jason had various colleagues out throughout the day, checking in with us and making sure the job was being done properly; all very professional. Jason came out at the end of the day to be sure we were happy and to make sure the job was done to his approval. Our insurance company was involved in this project as well, and Jason made it very easy to work with them, and him. From beginning to end, we were very satisfied with Guaranteed Roofing and would absolutely use them again for future projects. It was refreshing, in this age of waning customer service, to work with a company that obviously prides themselves on this. We will be sure to recommend them to others.

If you're like me and don't know much about roofing going when trying to find a contractor, it can be a frustrating process. Before contacting Guaranteed Roofing, I had already contacted 3 other roofers and there was over a $4,000 difference in my highest and lowest quote. Obviously this didn't leave me with much confidence in knowing what price was fair, so I got 3 more quotes and luckily Guaranteed Roofing was one of them. When Matthew came out to give me the estimate, he was dressed professionally and had already compiled an estimate for me using their satelite software. During his visit he went on to the roof to verify the measurements were correct and that there were no hidden issues. Matthew also walked me through the whole roof replacement process and what techniques his roofers use to ensure the highest quality. Simply put, Guaranteed Roofing doesn't take shortcuts and does everything to high standards. The "upgrades" that other companies offer are included in the base price here. Perhaps most impressive was his willingness to give me a great deal on replacing our skylights. The additonal price to replace the skylights from other roofers was outrageous considering there isn't significantly more labor when the roof is being done at the same time. It was clear Matthew shared my thoughts and wanted to win the bid. In the end, this wasn't the cheapest estimate we got but it wasn't far off either. It was easily the cheapest of the roofers who are properly certified and most importantly, I had confidence in. Normally they say you get what you pay for, but I really feel we got a higher quality product/install at a lower price than what many other top Angies list companies offered. We are very happy with our decision to go with Guaranteed Roofing and specifically Matthew Brown. He is the utmost professional and stands behind his word. I don't expect there to be any issues with the roof, but if there were I have full confidence that Matthew would be there to make it right. It would be foolish to not at least get an estimate from Guaranteed Roofing. You will be surprised at how they are able to do as much or more than your other estimates at a cheaper price.

Everything went well, work was done actually before it was promised and everything looks as good as new.

They did very well. We were pleased with them. They did what they contracted to do. They did it on time. They seemingly did it well. They didn't try to upsell us to anything. We talked to them about if we ever did replace the roof, what we thought was actually a very good price. Very likely, when we actually have to replace our roof, we would certainly get a bid from them. We were impressed so we would certainly give them every consideration.

MATTHEW did an excellent job on my mother's roof!! I was helping my mother with getting a new roof on her house. She had 2 other estimates and was being very high pressured by other roofers. When I called Guaranteed Roofing they set an appointment and arrived on time to give a NO PRESSURE estimate for my mother. MATTHEW thoroughly explained what they would do in detail. It was an easy decision to go with Guaranteed Roofing! They installed a Life Time Guaranteed roof for the same price as others were going to charge for a 20 year roof. The crew arrived at the crack of dawn to begin and finished in just 1 day! They did such an excellent job of clean up you would never even know they were there. Super happy with MATTHEW and the entire crew and the roof looks terrific! Highly highly recommend! When you call.... ask for Matthew- he did an outstanding job!

Matthew was excellent to work with. He was always very professional and prompt. He came out the first time to inspect the old roof and, although it was evident I needed a new roof, he did not pressure me at all. He explained the process and everything the crew would be doing. He came prepared with a satellite view of my home and was able to give me an estimate that first day. He left samples for me to consider for color, even though I was going to get other estimates. I could tell he was very passionate about his work and his being the third generation in his business was something he was very proud of, which to me proved that his standards would be high. The other estimates I received were comparable, but the the passion wasn't there and the standards not as high. After I made my decision, Matthew came out a second time and helped me pick out the right color for my home. Not only was he always prompt, but he also called when he was on his way. The crew arrived on time and were efficient and tidy. The old roof was removed and the new one installed the same day and when they left you couldn't even tell they had been there (except of course the roof was beautiful). They covered all of the shrubbery and made sure nothing was damaged. Matthew was on site and inspected the work as it was being done and afterwards to be sure it was as he promised. Highly recommended!

Matthew Brown arrived as planned on March 26th and gave us an estimate. We agreed to have Guaranteed Roofing do the work after getting two additional estimates. Matt and his crew were here less than 3 days later replacing the roof and front flashing. They replaced the roof in one day (a very windy day at that!!) and were very professional and the job looks great. Would definitely recommend them to neighbors, friends and family. The reason we contracted with Guaranteed Roofing instead of the other two companies who gave us quotes was because of Matthew's sincerity, professional presentation and though they were not the least expensive, our thought was we would rather give a our business to a local company.

Jason arrived with professional materials that included options, pictures, guarantees, etc. and an Angie"s list service awards in their flyer and an itemized quote. It took less than a week from the initial contact to have him at my door with the information I needed. We discussed the particulars of the process and I was impressed with his knowledge of the product, installation and process. He had pictures on his tablet of various homes with different colored shingles to help me with the color decision and also left shingle samples. He helped me look at them in different lighting to get the right idea of how it would look told me to take my time to decide. All the promises were kept. The crew was polite , nothing was broken in the landscape under the tarps and clean up was thorough. The project went smoothly and he came around several times the day of the roofing to check on the progress. Several sheets of plywood were required for repairs and I was shown pictures of the damaged parts of the roof after the tear off. The price for repairing was very nominal and didn't affect the overall quote by more than $150.00. After the project was completed Jason called for a time to come by and see how we liked it and settle the payment. My husband and I are very please with Guaranteed Roofing. They do earn the Angies list service award.

The job took only a day and they made sure they protected our new deck and our shrubbery! This was a complete tear off, Removal of our skylight, and install of a great looking Owens Corning Duration Dimensional roof. Matthew, Dave and two of the installers were back the next morning to finish some trim and do a complete check. Matthew emailed pictures as the work went on so we could see what was being done. We feel very grateful that we found Guaranteed Roofing and HIGHLY recommend them. Our Angie's List subscription ran out last week but we got on right away to re-sign for another year. Our neighbors on Angie's List who gave Guaranteed an A rating got it right! We don't anticipate any issues but if we do we know Matthew will be right there.

Met with Guaranteed Service representative. After some discussion and without any roof inspection other than a reference to a satellite shot of my property (Google Earth) I received an estimated that appeared to be inflated. When I showed Angie'list advertised offer for a roof replacement, the explanation given (that the $11,000 quote) was for a 2000 sq ft roof with skylights and chimneys and other sophisticated details not shown in the picture. At the end of the conversation, the representative made reference to a "bait and switch" advertisement which indeed was the case here. While I have no way to rate their actual workmanship, the fact that a bait and switch strategy was used in my case makes me suspicious of this company. I will advise Angie's list customers to be sensitive to the fact that the coupon advertisement is just a ploy for the representative to visit your home. A lot of technical jargon and very little correlation with their ad price promise. Buyer Beware!

We developed a leak in our roof several months ago, and after trying to get another roofing company to replace it for months, we finally gave up on them and called Guaranteed Roofing. The difference was like night and day; we should have called Guaranteed Roofing first thing. We were in contact with Matthew Brown, and he was always very professional. He came out and gave us a quote within a day of us first contacting him, and he always kept us in the loop on how things were going. Once we got the installation scheduled, he kept in contact with us as the materials were delivered, and when the work would start. The day of the installation, he continuously sent me updates and pictures throughout the day, and after the work was completed, personally went through all the pictures with me and explained what had been done. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs a new roof.

Jason was very professional. I needed to move our appointment by an hour and he was very flexible. He showed up on time, check everything carefully and explained he result. I really appreciated his honesty and professionalism.

Jason came out, isolated the roofing issues, and only recommended and charged for what was needed vs. a full roof repair. Would be happy to call upon him again.

Overall, I was very happy with the services of Guaranteed Roofing. They get my highest recommendation. I worked with Bryan who walked me through the process start to finish. He was upfront with all information and answered all questions to my satisfaction. I wanted to use a different brand of shingles than what was initially presented and they had no problem at all being flexible with any changes or requests that I had. I recently had a new driveway installed and did not want any heavy items that would make impressions on my driveway. They were very courteous and were able to accommodate this request no problem. Once my roof install was scheduled, they showed up bright and early on the first day it did not rain. They were on-time, worked efficiently, and were able to install the new roof easily in one day. This was quite an accomplishment considering I had multiple layers of shingle on my roof that needed to be removed. After the roof was installed, they had one of their team members come out and exclusively walk the perimeter of my home with magnets to make sure all nails were picked up. I was very happy about this considering I have small children that play outside every day. They did not initiate payment until 100% of the install was complete, which I thought said a lot about their confidence in their work. I hope I do not have to get roof repairs for a long time, but if I do I will use Guaranteed Roofing once again. Thank you to Bryan and team for your professionalism and care for my home!

They did a great job putting on a new roof. They were very efficient crew of roofers that removed the old roof and installed the new roof. They kept me informed of the details of the installation. They completed the new roof in two days. My new roof looks great.

The gentleman who came out did a thorough inspection of my roof, and provided me with an analysis of the state of my roof. He also fixed minor issues found with the sealing around some vent pipes and adjusted a gutter flashing. Very professional and helpful. I would definitely use again.

It was great! Ours was done much quicker than our neighbors'.
