Platinum showed up on time and began to work on drilling holes for blowing insulation into the lower walls. At the same time, they filled all opening in the basement with insulating foam. Platinum completed the job in a timely manner and did an excellent job cleaning up after themselves.

They did fine work. They did more than I expected them to do. I just wanted them to work on my gutters and they went up and checked my roof out as well.

The original salesman was very professional, knew his facts, presented them in a concise manner. Did not drag out the presentation but left us with all the information we needed to make a decision - we appreciated that. The company had a cancellation on December 1, so they called and asked if they could come that day instead of the scheduled day later in the week. We were not quite prepared but said okay anyway (had to finish cleaning out all items from our attic). Two men came a couple of hours later, by which time we were ready. They were very professional, neat, and knowledgeable in what they did. They allowed us to view the progress off and on, answered all our questions. They worked into the evening to get the job done, and it turned out very well. They installed measuring tapes in the attic before they started blowing in the insulation so we can see the actual depth of the insulation when they were finished. They cleaned up any mess left behind in the house. We were pleased with the whole process. Now waiting to see if our heating bills go down.

Our experience with Platinum Insulation was outstanding, from bid through installation. First, the Company Rep explained what they proposed doing as part of adding more blown-in insulation in clear terms. He explained why it is important to insure that the attic baffles needed to be replaced with better and taller materials. He explained the importance of sealing all penetrations from the living area. The bid was very competitive considering the full scope of the work. The workmen were very professional. They arrived on time in Company tee shirts, very clean in attire. We have a large house and they worked non-stop until 7 pm to get the job completed. They cleaned up afterwards; no loose insulation on floors or shelves. Overall, a very successful experience. Completely professional throughout. We have no problem recommending Platinum to anyone needing attic insulation.

Salesman Jeff Crockett contacted us promptly and set up an appt to give us an idea of what we needed. Faulty baffles had been discovered by our roofer and Jeff made suggestions to improve the attic area. After receiving the quote the next day, we were able to set up an appt to our satisfaction. Kevin and J.R. performed the work. Took about 3.5 hours. They were very professional and cleaned up meticulously afterwards. We have already told neighbors who they could call if they ever needed an insulation service. We were very impressed from initial contact to finish. We even received a courtesy call later that day to check on our satisfaction.

Estimate was more reasonable than others. Came when they said they would. Workers were here when they said and very courteous to work with. Completed work in a good time. looking forward to seeing better heating bills.

Two gentlemen from Platinum Insulation came to repair my insulation and piping issues. They showed up promptly on time and finished within the time frame quotes. They were very professional and did a nice job.

Mr. Brooks came to my home and provided me a detailed estimate on what it would take to replace my roof. After moving forward with the contract his crew was out in two weeks and was able to do the tear off and replacement of my roof in a single day. There was nothing left behind after they finished and I like that they paid attention to my landscaping and nothing on my property was damaged. Mr. Brooks was even on site observing the job and making sure every detail was perfect. This is the third different job I have had Platinum do and they continue to impress me more each time.

James and his team from Platinum Insulation applied R38 insulation throughout my attic. In addition, they air-sealed my house and basement, including light fixtures, etc. Tests were done by Vectren before and after. I was able to see the difference when using the Infrared camera, which showed areas as blue (no insulation) before and then turned orange/red (plenty of insulation) after. It's only been one day and I am already noticing the positive difference (furnace not kicking on as much, house temperature not dropping as fast, etc.). In addition, 68 degrees actually feels a lot warmer than it did before, thanks to my whole house being insulated by Platinum. To me this is an investment, because I am confident I will save the money I spent with lower bills this Winter (supposed to be a bad Winter too). Finally, I would like to mention the incredible service I received from James and his team (Platinum). They are all extremely friendly and professional. I felt like they actually cared about improving my home's efficiency as if it was their own home. I enjoying talking to them and learning about insulation, air-flow, air-sealing, etc. They were on time and answered all my questions. After the Vectren rebates, the price ended up being cheaper than if I had done this work myself! :-) Getting my house insulated was the best decision I ever made. Getting it done by Platinum made this decision even better. James Brooks came to my home and did an inspection of my gutters and downspouts. He explained that the gutters I had on my home were to small and that adding a larger gutter would help to control the water coming off of my steep roof and most likely would solve the water issue I was having in my basement. He then offered a detailed estimate that broke out labor and materials. He had a two man crew out that installed all new gutters and downspouts. When it rains I am no longer seeing the water spilling over my gutters and the water issue in the basement seems to have been resolved. Everything was cleaned up after the install was complete and Mr. Brooks came out to ensure I was happy with the work. Very impressed by the way my project was handled from start to finish.

I used this company the month before for my gutters and downspouts and had such a great install I decided to have them back out to do my insulation. I have a finished attic that is used as the master bedroom. The space seemed fine until the weather started getting cold. Mr. Brooks came back to my home and crawled into the attic space and explained that I had about half the insulation I needed. He offered me a special that was 1000 sq ft of insulation for $995.00 I contracted the work and his crew was out 3 days later and had my attic space taken care of in a few hours. I was surprised how fast they completed the job. Mr. Brooks came out at completion and inspected everything and made sure I was happy. This is a great company to work with and I will continue to use them for my future projects.
