Description of Work: I now forget the exact date but they came and measured for a new window and delivered it and put it in when they said they would this past summer. This is the third window replacement we have used this company for and they have always come through with flying colors.

Description of Work: Seemed we were going to need to wait because of other work already scheduled, but Glass Guru added a new guru and we were added to their schedule quickly. Thanks!

Description of Work: They did a pretty good job re-screening some existing frames. A little bit of rough edges. I had to call them a few times before they responded with an appointment, but the man who came to the house was friendly and polite.

Description of Work: The initial communication indicated the they would be back out with the new window sooner than they actually were.

Description of Work: Installed new screens - came and got them and returned them. Very reliable and easy to use!

Description of Work: Glass Guru replaced glass in our 25 year old skylights. The seal had failed and the old glass was fogged. They did an excellent job at a reasonable price. Other vendors told us the skylights couldn't be fixed and had to be entirely replaced (at a significant cost) but Glass Guru solved the problem.

Description of Work: They rescreened 3 of my window screens & 1 door screen. They picked up my screens & had them done in about a week when they returned my screens 1 did not fit anymore the guy said they had screened it to tight so he took the screen back to fix the problem. Two weeks passed so I called them to ask where is my screen they finally got back to me and said he would be there on 6/1/15 at 4:00pm. I waited until 6:00pm no one showed up so I left when I returned around 8:00pm my screen was left on my door step. Would not do business with this company again price is outrageous for what they done.

Description of Work: Screens were replaced. Glass Guru was very responsive to setting up a time to pick up and drop off screens that needed to be replaced. Every person I interacted with was pleasant and accommodating. Job would have been rating perfect, save one screen replacement had a small section that was not properly cut cleanly. Overall, great deal though.

Description of Work: I gave them two window screens and one door screen. The work for the window screens was done in a timely manner, but the delivery was slow (2 weeks after they had told me the screens were ready and only after I called them to see where the screens were.) When they delivered the screens, the did not deliver the door screen. The window screens were curved (screen too tight maybe?) and difficult to get back into the windows. With my husbands help, we eventually did. Glass Guru was willing to come out and correct the problem, but since we finally got the screens in, we decided not to have them return. On the door screen, they said it was in horrible shape, folding practically in two and wanted to know if I wanted them to rebuild a screen for a prorated cost. I agreed to that. Then I got a phone call two weeks later asking me if I wanted them to repair the screen or rebuild it? Then two weeks later, I got another call saying they couldn't rebuild it in black like the original, did I want to choose another color or have them repair the original. It's now been another three weeks and I have heard nothing from them and still do not have my door screen. I would not recommend this company.

Description of Work: The service was provided as agreed. The only disappointment, which was in my opinion minor, was that on the agreed day for returning the screens, they were not delivered. After about 10 days, we called to reconfirm a new delivery date, which did happen as agreed.

Description of Work: replaced one storm window in bedroom. They came out to measure. measured the actual window, not the storm window. brought out the wrong window, removed the storm window, returned one week later and installed the storm window.

Description of Work: The work they did was awesome - our glass is clearing up, and the little plugs are barely noticeable. They scheduled our work in less than a week, and the work was done in an afternoon. Glass Guru treated 17 windows - but they are double hung, so there really are 34 pieces of glass. The estimator (perhaps not the fellow that usually does it?) only counted 17, so when the workers came out, they said our estimate should have been double what it was. The estimator came out to see, and they charged us "at cost" - 1/2 price on the additional 17 pieces of glass. So our bill was still more than we expected, but less than if they had gotten it right in the first place. That was the only negative. All the guys were friendly, knowledgeable and efficient.
