Description of Work: Regency roofing did a complete cedar roof restoration at my residence in Wellington, Fl. They first did a low pressure cleaning of the shakes. After the roof dried they repaired all damaged areas with heavy shakes and felt were needed. Finally, they applied a protective coating on the shakes to help preserve them for 3 to 5 years. Two workers did two full days work on the roof. They were on time each day and cleaned up well after the job was done.

Description of Work: Regency Roof Co Inc fixed some roof damage and came back after several months to fix some repairs.

Description of Work: No services were performed. This was to be a leak repair job where a section of roof was to be replaced. Leak occurred on 10/2/08. This was to be paid for by our home warranty company (we just bought this house and had a warranty from the seller). I asked them to call the warranty company and asked to be sure to say "normal wear and tear and there is a leak" so the warranty company could authorize the claim. Instead they called and said the leak was due to "storm damage" upon which the claim was of course denied. This forced me to contact other contractors though I really wanted to use Regency because of their good reputation. Then I decided to call them back and explained what had happened with their storm comment (there was no storm by the way so we were being truthful, but they made a mistake by saying storm damage or maybe mixed it up with another job) and asked them to please call the warranty company again and tell them you made a mistake and got this job mixed up with another or whatever so we can get approved. The gentleman (Joe) said "I spoke to the boss (Paul) and we've decided we are not doing this job". I said well thank you and hung up. I was shocked to be honest with you. Looking back I thought the entire time I was dealt with an attitude and total lack of interest. I had used them to get a quote on a roof repair back in July 08, but they didn't get the job then because we were buying the house and the seller decided to use their own roofer so we could not use Regency. I told them this when I called them in October on the second leak and said there was no selection by us and our hands were tied as to who was selected by the prior owners. We have since bought the house and there was a new leak which is described above. When I first called them on this last leak I was not treated with interest and the person complained about the last quote and "we wonder if you're just using us, he said". I explained the situation, but the attitude issue did not go away. Here I was with all good intentions ready to use them even though their price was higher than everyone else and this is how I get treated.

Description of Work: We have cedar shakes that need to be treated. We have lots of trees and mold forms on the shakes. They came and power washed the roof and it became gray again. Also they oil it to prevent the shakes from cracking.

Description of Work: I HAVE A WOOD SHAKE ROOF. THEY COME AND SPRAY ON A ROOF TREATMENT ABOUT ONCE EVERY 3 YEARS TO HELP PROTECT AND PRESERVE THE WOOD.
