+ -1 moreMike came across very professionally. He tried to talk me out of doing work that he didn't want to do. He also was not capable of handling more challenging jobs. It was a mistake to pay him by the hour. I should not have allowed him to do any electrical work or anything that required attention to detail. I also had a bad experience with two workers he referred to me. One failed miserably on a roofing job and the other was drywaller with an attitude problem. Mike is a nice guy, but I will not use his services again.
Description of Work: Mike Bono did 3 different hanyman type jobs. The first job was relatively simple work like tree removal, cleaning and painting. He did well on these jobs. The 2nd job involved replacing 7 windows on a rental property. This was a struggle. He didn't know how to do it, so he asked me to give him some direction. I called an expert and told him how to finish them. He didn't complete one of the windows as I had asked. The other windows were dirty and dinged up when he finished. He ended up charging me more than if I paid for professional installation. The third job was an extensive list of items including plumbing, electrical and rough carpentry. He did the simple items fine, but struggled with the more challanging ones. His plumbing leaked, his electrical was not wired to code and his door would not close properly. Also, he charged me by the hour and ran up a hefty tab. In the end, we disagreed on his fee. I sent him out before all the work was done.

+ -1 moreFriendly & said he packed many times. Even though I asked that all boxes be marked with contents, most were not. My personal papers were nowhere to be found after packing. I pointed out what not to put in truck, including box with papers pertaining to the move. I have been in Virginia almost 3 weeks & finally gotten in my house. I think it will take months to find everything. Some things were not packed, like my futon; some things were packed I did not want. So I am left having my son & daughter rent a truck to go back to Ohio & get things that were left. Yes, they packed the PODS to the brim, but if I ever used them I'd get more help to supervise them.
Description of Work: Pack for move from Ohio to Virginia. I supplied materials.
