Ray and his crew are awesome. They always show up on time and do a top notch job. The house absolutely sparkles and smells great. I've been using Ray's Cleaning for quite a few years now and plan to continue in the future.

He was excellent. He went above and beyond. I had some problems with the drain in the garage, it was blocked, and he dug through a bunch of dirt and muck to clear that drain so that they could finish the clean up. I would definitely recommend him to anyone! I spent a little more because he helped me clear the drain!

Everything went excellent. They were very helpful and well mannered. They were quick and efficient as well.

Ray was punctual for the estimate appointment. We walked through the house while I pointed out the jobs that needed to be done. Ray made suggestions as we went. Soon after this we received the estimate. A little sticker shock ensued. However, my mate allowed as how this was a very reasonable price for the effort she knew from experience would be required. The job was accomplished in three days. Following the completion, we made an appointment for a walk-through and payment. When I arrived, one of Ray's employees was blowing debris from the driveway (an unexpected bonus). The house looks and smells great. All the work appears to have been accomplished without a hitch. During the cleaning three of the storm windows were discovered cracked and with my permission Ray's took them to a local hardware store for repair. They were repaired and reinstalled. All-in-all this was a very pleasant experience. The only problem, noticed when a went back to the house several days after the job was complete, was that one or two of the west-facing windows have a few smudged spots when the sun is shining directly into them. They look perfectly clean when the sun is not on them which it was not during our final walk-through. I think this is probably forgivable given how long it has been since they have been cleaned.

An excellent experience - from start to finish. Ray was present the entire time to work with and supervise his crew. They were punctual, personable, extremely courteous, very hard working, knowledgeable, efficient, and unobtrusive (at times we had 7 grown men in our home and other than the sounds of cleaning, you would not have known they were there). Ray and his crew clearly take pride in doing a good job. They worked very, very hard and the results were impressive. They were able to remove a lot of grime (and, in the kitchen) grease that normal housekeeping does not take care of. The house was so clean, but what really impressed me was the job they did in the basement and the garage - without going into detail, suffice it to say that they looked nothing like they had before Ray and his crew went to work on them. They truly went above and beyond what was expected. We tried this company based on Angie's List recommendations. We could not have been more pleased.

I found Ray in Angie's list. He gave me a balllpark quote over the phone and then drove to the house for a detailed quote. The work was very well done.

They did wonderful. Prompt, courteous and reasonably priced.

Ray and his crew arrived at the exact time agreed on, moved some large furniture out of the the way and went to work cleaning a floor that hadn't been really been cleaned in about 10 years. He was very respectful with the surrounding furniture, and replaced the large pieces that he moved in the exact spot that I wanted. Best of all he invited me down to see the progress he was making several times rather than waiting till the end of the job. He used 3 coats of wax , the cleanup was spotless and the floor looks beautiful. I would highly recommend him and use him in the future.

Came in on Monday Sept 21 work very hard. Cleaned everything up before leaving and came back the following morning to finish. They are extremely neat and work very well.

They are professional, responsive and punctual. They move all my appliances and furniture and clean. They also clean some high spots where we can?t reach. The quality of their work is good and I have been satisfied with their service.

Ray called me on the day scheduled to let me know he was on his way. He said he would be dropping off one of his workers to get him started and then be returning to another site to finish up after which he would then return to my home. Upon arriving Ray unloaded his equipment while the fella he brought over to begin the work made a cell phone call. I followed Ray into the house and watched as he prepared the solution to be used. Within five minutes I noticed the fella who would be doing the work had not entered the house so I went to find him. He was outside talking to my neighbor so I asked him if he would be long. He finished his conversation and came into the house. After giving the fella instructions, Ray left and to return to the other client's site. I had work to do in the next room and left the fella to do the work he was hired for. As I worked, I could hear cabinets opening and closing so I felt pretty comfortable the work was getting done. At one point, after about 30 - 45 mins, I needed something in the kitchen and when I got there the fella was on his cell phone again. He had only made it to the third cabinet, so I thought he wasn't making much progress and decided I would check on him again within 30 minutes. Within the half hour I did not hear much activity so I went back to the kitchen. The fella was looking out the window and once again was on his cell phone. I asked him if he needed a break and he headed outside. Within 15 minutes, Ray arrived with two other guys and they brought some more pails and supplies in. For the size of the job, 4 people seemed to be a huge overkill but I didn't think much of it and went back to my work. During this time I was in and out of the kitchen area and found Ray working feverishly along side the others. At some point I noticed that things were winding down since two of the fellas were no longer in the house. I found them sitting in their truck. They did not return to the house. I hung around the kitchen. Ray pointed out that the floors looked really good . He told me that he decided he'd also clean the windows and other ceiling fixtures which were not included in the original estimate. (Thanks Ray but I was paying you to clean up the grease in the kitchen). I told Ray I would be inspecting the work. He pulled up a chair at one end of the cabinets and I examined the knobs, cabinet fronts, tops, and inside. There was still grease on several of the surfaces and Ray got up on the stool and redid the knobs, and the top of all the cabinets. I also pointed out that the stove top and knobs had not been cleaned and he told me that they don't do that service, only the exterior (meaning back, front, and sides of flat surfaces). I asked Ray if he cleaned the vent on the back of the refrigerator and he told me the coils were covered and there was nothing to clean. After Ray wiped down all the surfaces I brought to his attention, I rechecked them and mentioned they still felt a bit sticky. However, rather than complete the job as documented, Ray offered to give me a discount of $25. I thought that was fair since it appeared that only the stove top and cabinet knobs were going to be an issue. However, in spite of the discount, Ray tacked on tax which brought the total bill to more than the original estimate. Thinking that Ray had done a good job and watching him go back over the surfaces I pointed out to him, I wrote Ray a check for the amount and he left. Later that day I began the job of priming and painting the walls. As I worked I discovered how much sticky grease was still coating the cabinets, a portion of the counter top, and a vent on the back of the refrigerator that Ray said didn't exist. In fact, there was so much grease residue remaining that when I went to paint the walls my arm stuck firmly to the wood. At this point I realized that Ray had deceived me by claiming he did me a favor by cleaning the windows and other ceiling lights because, as he said, he "always likes to do a little extra for his customers". I realized that Ray's offer to give me a $25 discount and the extra work he did were merely smoke screens to distract me from the fact that he did not complete the job he was hired to do and that he knew perfectly well that he didn't. I immediately called Ray but had to leave a message. He never returned my call. Looking back, I had another estimate for $150.00 but since the contractor never came to the house to see the extent of the job, I was not willing to hire them. In hind sight maybe I should have...however I didn't. RAY, I THINK YOU OWE ME A REFUND OF at least $300.00. If you would have returned my call to discuss this we could have come to some mutual agreement without going public with this however Ray, since it's all about money and deceit with you and not an ounce of customer service, I just want my money back...forget about coming back to complete the job you were hired to do. As a matter of fact Ray, I think you should give me a full refund of $457.93 and I'll forget this ever happened. What do you say Ray?

They were a bit higher then other window washing companies that I compared them to.

Perfectly--Ray does what he promises and makes the house shine. He fixes little things we overlook.

Contacted Ray (the owner) for the initial estimate. He came to the house and called with a quote within 3 days. The work was scheduled for approximately 2 weeks later. Ray and his team of 5 employees arrived on time every day (5 employees for 3 days and 3 employees for 1/2 day for final work and take out trash. Ray was very easy to work with and his team was polite and respectful. Everyone was knowledgeable on the correct way to do the cleaning and Ray would check the work being done regularly. Ray was there the entire time and worked with his team. You could tell everyone enjoyed working for Ray. He used quality products that did not leave the house smelling toxic.

They were excellent! Some of our renters had vacated & were real pigs & the place was filthy & they cleaned very thoroughly & fixed some things without me even having to ask them to do that. I didn't really interact with the staff because I am in another different state, but my son did. Ray, the owner, kept me informed over the telephone of what he was doing throughout the cleaning process & he was very courteous & polite. He returned my calls right away & was very responsible. I would hire them again in the future.

They did an excellent job. They did not only clean the glass but the sills and everything around them.

It was a good experience. He gave me an idea of how much it would cost over the phone and it was close. He came when he was supposed to and he did a good job. He was professional and courteous.

Ray's crew was very respectful and hard working. They did a thorough job cleaning out the furnace room, storage areas, windows, scrubbing the floors, etc. At one point though, Ray offered to replace the vent from the dryer saying he wouldn't feel right leaving it the way it was. He suggested that since he was here anyway, and it would cost me a lot to get someone in to take care of it, he would (I thought he meant to charge me for the cost of the tube, not the labor since I was already paying over $1,000 for a day's work). He did a great job installing a new tube and venting it to the outside in a secure manner. He also cleaned out the window well into which the tube vents. He charged me $175 for this extra. I thought it was a bit high, but I have a big house, so I wasn't going to quibble. However, the next day the basement laundry room flooded. Apparently the leaves that Ray cleaned out of the window well were sent down the drainage pipe and clogged the drain into which the washer empties. I called a plumber - it took a few days, but cost only $60. I called Ray to give him the opportunity to cover it, but he didn't want to take responsibility for it. I had talked about additional work with him in the Spring and had tipped his guys, but that incident with the washer just bummed me out.

Ray's team did the work, vacuumed the area and were careful while carrying the items, including a small radiator, down the stairs from the 3rd floor attic.

Ray came in assessed what needed to be done. His crew arrived shortly after and each directed to a different job. Ray worked right along side his crew. The communication between Ray and his crew is wonderful. As a result the work is excellent and efficient.

The service was professional and done in a very timely fashion. I do not live in Cleveland so I picked Ray's Cleaning service strictly based on the comments on Angie's List. I had to trust Ray without meeting him and without observing his work with my own eyes. So my comment is based from the best observer I could find, who keeps a spotless home herself and would find the tiniest crumb on the floor to be an issue, my MOM! She has seen the before and after cleaning and stated, it does not look like the same house. She said the windows are so clean that it looks like there aren't any windows! I trust my mom and now I trust Ray's Cleaning Service. I will definitely use him again to clean the upstairs unit as soon as it is vacated. Ray went above and beyond basic cleaning and although the price was more than I wanted to pay it was worth every penny.
