Viox Windows & Remodeling

We recently used Viox Windows to install a front door and screen door. We highly recommend Darren Viox, he's professional, thoroughly invested in the job, always communicated with us, reliable and very easy to work with. He's not only a craftsman but has an artistic eye as well. He gave us very good suggestions to achieve what we wanted He was dedicated to making sure we got exactly what we wanted, addressed any concerns we had. We couldn't be happier with our new doors!

Everything went well when the windows were installed except the owner of the company broke one of the half moon windows when he installed the window. This took over 6 months to get fixed. Also, one of the windows needed some adjustment in the front. That took almost 9 months to get repaired.

Viox Windows did a great Job! I have used Viox Windows in every home I bought in the last 20 years. Matter of fact, I have had 4 homes.

It went real well and he was very embraced and committed to the process. Bang for the buck they appear to be real, real good. My spouse fell in love with a different brand that unfortunately out of a quirk they don't have access to, so that is the only reason we didn't use them this time. Mike and his crew were exceptional to work with. Mike was honest and a perfectionist checking the work constantly. He saw slight imperfections that we didn't see and had them fixed immediately. We had approximately 28 windows replaced, 2 doors and siding and the cost was reasonably priced. He wasn't our cheapest quote but by far the best value and the most trustworthy. He didn't offer a free window for every widow purchased and then jack up the price of the first window like some of the well advertised competitors did. He also did not speak negatively about competitors just gave us a good estimate and information so we had the necessary information to compare. My husband recently called him because one of our gutters was loose and needed a tall ladder to reach it. He came right out and fixed it for us even though he really had nothing to do with the gutters at all. No charge. I highly recommend Mike Viox. Several neighbors have also used Mike's company and been equally as pleased.

I had this company do some remodeling at my home and it was a big mistake! I now have uneven floors that squeak, gutters that leak from behind rather than drain out the spouts, my shingles are collapsing at both ends of the house due to lack of support, ETC! Some of the flooring in my closet was never even put down(I guess they thought I wouldn't notice)! When I pointed these issues out to the company personnel they said they would be back to fix it and then never came back! I took time off work to be at home on the days they said they would be back to fix the issues and nothing not even a phone call! They just up and vanished didn't hear from them for months until one day they called demanding money! They even went as far as sending me a bill with fraudulent charges for items that were never used at my home and when I pointed it out to the owner he told me that I was right the bills was wrong and that he missed some additional charges and now the bill will be more than he originally thought! This company does shady work at best and is not very honest! They are offering services beyond their expertise at the cost of the home owner! I would NOT recommend this company to anybody they will not finish what they start then they will try to bully their way into your check book by threats and harassing phone calls! I've filled a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and so far they have admitted to the fraudulent charges on my bill and to being a no show no call multiple times! He is a man of high integrity, his quality of work is excellent and the price is very competitive. When he had replaced the roof some time back he figured out that it was a manufacturing defect and he waived off the price of the roof. He is an outstanding guy and very efficient.

He came out at $100 more than the insurance estimate, but he's adding ventilation to the roof for free, as well as tightening up my gutters and he's installing 30 year warrany dimensional shingles for free. He was responsive and professinal.

They stayed with their original bid even though changes were made. They were very easy to work with regardless of the changes we need to make. They made very helpful recommendations that turned out to look really great. They did a great job and I would definitely use them again.

Mark, who installed the new doors, is very experienced and knowledgeable of the work required to replace the old doors and install the new ones. A timely and precise procedure, Mark made the entire process seem simple. He performed the work with exceptional care and precision. He appeared promptly as scheduled, handled extremely heavy steel doors with care, and cleaned up all debris upon completion of the work. Very courteous and efficient, Mark was also very happy to explain details of the work when asked. I am completely satisfied with the quality of the doors, their effectiveness in operation and the pricing of the work.

My overall experience has been frustrating to say the least. signed contract for siding Feb. 14, 2006, paid them 1/3 deposit and was told work would begin in approximately 2 weeks. Finally, after many calls to the salesman, work began about March 22, 2006. Their employee didn't show up half the time and the siding look horrible. Finally, after 18 days and my complaining over and over again, they had a new crew come and re-did almost everything the other guy did and they finished the job in approximately 4 1/2 days. They finished the second week in April. I have no complaints with that work. My main complaint is that they (the owner and salesman) would not take me seriously. I knew the siding had been installed incorrectly but all I heard was excuses. In a nutshell, the siding is finished and finally looks great but it definitely was not done in a timely manner as their contract states. Storm door installed with left hand entry instead of right hand. Still waiting on this problem.

The work was performed timely and professionally over a period of several days. The workmen were always courteous and polite. Each evening all scaffolding was removed and the area cleaned of tools and debris that was removed from the property daily. The salesman either called or came daily to check on the progress of the work and was concerned about my satisfaction. I am completely satisfied by the quality of the work, the care with which it was performed, the appearance of my home upon completion, and the price paid. I shall be willing to highly recommend Viox Windowson on all counts.

THE COMPANY WAS WILLING TO FIX THE GLASS AND NOT CHARGED ME FOR INSTALLATION. THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED TO DO. THE WINDOW LOOKED GREAT AND IT TOOK ONE WEEK. GREAT JOB.
