Good follow-up, calls before and after.

They did quality work. I had some scheduling problems, but it was winter time. The work was excellent. The price was very reasonable and fair. I felt like they really did a nice job.

I e-mailed the company in June, and I got a call either the same day or the next morning. She told me that they could come do the work, but they ordinarily didn't go so far, and that it probably would cost me less if I went with a company located closer to me. I had already had one company do an estimate, and the lady took the time to give me a general estimate over the phone so that I could compare the two. Additionally, she told me about a type of fencing option that I might want to consider that I hadn't even heard of. I thanked her for being up front about their travel expense and for her help and suggestions.

They couldn't come out and do the work right away. They came in three weeks but that was ok with me. When they came they did a professional job in only two days. They came back a second time to put in a gate for us and they didn't do such a high quality job as they did the first time. He cleaned up but only after I asked him too.

I was very happy with the work. They took down the old fence and took it out to the dump. They were very friendly, too! They showed up on time and cleaned up everything when they were done. It took them about two days to do the work.

Gina hires subs and they worked for one day and then didn't show up until the evening two days later. Then they worked all day and told me that they wouldn't be back until the following night. When I very nicely told them that we needed the job done as soon as possible, they agreed to come back the following morning to finish the job. I am sure that if I had contacted Gina she would have been all over them to finish sooner, but I wasn't really that bothered. The quality of the work was great and when I had a question for Gina during the job, she was on the phone right away! Just be sure to let Gina know if you are in a hurry so she can hold the subs feet to the fire! I would hire The Fence Company again!

I did not use this company mostly because their price was 50% higher than the next highest bid.

My wife scheduled a site visit with Gina, who came to our home within a day or so of the call. We contacted other builders but did not receive the same prompt response. Gina told us that given the recent weather and the number of jobs already scheduled that it would be about two weeks or more before a crew would be available. But after just a week she called to tell us that a crew would arrive the next day. The three-man crew arrived as promised, at the agreed time. Very polite, hard-working men. They worked throughout the day tearing down and replacing the existing fence. This was estimated to be a 2-day job, but the crew completed the actual construction by day's end. As the light was fading, all that remained was the cleanup. We agreed that it would be fine to finish that cleanup the next day. And even though the next day was Sunday, the crew arrived just as promised and quickly loaded the remaining debris.

The work took a little longer than expected to complete and there was a problem with the alignment of the fence. Once notified about the alignment problem, Gina met me promptly to address this concern and I appreciated the prompt response...very professional and polite...A plus in this regard. Honestly, the fence line still does not measure-up to what I would have wanted to see for the price paid, but I guess it was the best they could do....at best, a C in this regard. I think I'd hire the company again but I'm, truthfully, not entirely sure.

Gina was very helpful and was able to have our fence installed very quickly. The gentlemen who installed our fence were polite, quick and professional. The fence looks great and there was no mess to clean up after the fence was installed.

The project went wonderfully from estimate to completion. Gina the owner is very professional and personable to deal with. Her installers, Daryll and Wayne were the same way. We had to go back and forth a few times changing the design etc. but Gina was very patient and responded to my emails and phone calls right away. Daryll and Wayne did everything we contracted for and more. They removed excess dog kennel fencing that wasn't even in the fence line because they had their metal saw out and said it wouldn't be a big deal to cut it down and remove it too. They consulted me every step of the way regarding post placement and walk thru gate design. Since the fence was built from scratch there were many opportunities to clarify design and construction issues as they went along. The job took 4 full days and they were there on time and worked constantly during that time. They were very neat and cleaned up all of the debris and dirt piles left from the installation. Excellent job!

Work went well. Workers were polite and cleaned up as they went. I recommend them.

Called Gina to get her estimate in spring. Estimate was reasonable compared with one other that we obtained. Able to arrange for installation in about 2 weeks. She worked with us to change the original plan after we had some problem with easements. The installation went well and was completed in about 1 1/2 days. One post and 3 rails was left out due to miscommunication with the workmen concerning where the fence would end. (Would recommend marking the exact spot and inspecting the work at the end to make sure you are on the same page.) They came out within a couple of weeks and installed the final post and rails. We've been happy with the result. For other owners, one issue on fences is whether to go with the ACQ pressure treated pine vs Hemlock and Locust type natural woods. On the INTERNET, the latter type seems to have good reputation for long-lasting, natural, rot resistance, as long as you keep water/wet leaves away from posts. Fence Co. only offers Hemlock and Locust.

They were great. I needed the fence built right away and they were able to get it done before I needed it. They were efficient, nice and had good quality.

Great satisfaction. Fence looks nice, great input from the company. Willing to work with customers.

Gina is friendly enough and we enjoyed our meeting. We were surprised that she did not write anything down and instead verbally told us what she was going to include in her bid. Gina's estimate was supposed to include various options in terms of materials. She was also supposed to give us the cost to have The Fence Company install a custom fence from scratch versus having us provide the materials and The Fence Company perform the installation. The estimate only included portions of the custom fencing and the corresponding labor - it did not include the cost if we furnished materials. We felt the price was high (roughly $100 per square foot) and opted to perform the installation ourselves.

When I called, Gina, the owner, was very polite and set up an appointment within a week to measure the area to be fenced in. We preferred to have an ornamental aluminum fence. We got the estimate in the mail within a few days but it was over our budget. She worked with us to come up with a lower priced alternative. Throughout the whole process she was very professional and very patient in answering all of my questions. The installers showed up on time and quickly installed the fence despite the extreme heat. I was very pleased with the result. Gina called to follow up to see if the fence was installed to my satisfaction.

THE FENCE COMPANY QUOTED MY JOB AND DID EXACTLY WHAT THEY PROMISED FOR THE BID THEY GAVE ME. THEY ALSO TORE DOWN OLD CHAIN LINK FENCING AND DISPOSED OF IT. THEIR WORK WAS DONE WHEN PROMISED AND THEY DID A VERY PROFESSIONAL JOB.

ISSUES WITH RETURNING CALLS, MISSING DELIVERY DATES, AND TOTAL UNPROFESSIONALISM (TOLD ME TO GO TO ANOTHER COMPANY AND HUNG UP ON ME WHEN I QUESTIONED THE DELIVERY DATE). GINA, THE OWNER, IS UNPROFESSIONAL. AFTER EXCHANGING VOICEMAILS AND EMAILS, WHEN WE FINALLY TALKED ON THE PHONE, SHE HAD A VERY BAD ATTITUDE. SHE HAS ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS, SHE IS RUDE, AND HUNG UP ON ME. I WAS SIMPLY ASKING SOME QUESTIONS AS TO WHAT WAS GOING ON SINCE LAST YEAR THEY WERE OUTSTANDING IN EVERY CATEGORY AND THIS YEAR IT'S A DRASTIC CHANGE. I NEVER RAISED MY VOICE. GINA WAS OUT OF LINE.

WHEN THE JOB WAS COMPLETED, WE CALLED ABOUT SOME QUALITY CONCERNS, THEY GOT ANGRY AT THAT.
