The Fence Co

Description of Work: We contracted to fence in our back yard. The Fence Company was to deliver and install "X" sections of post and rail, 1x double gate & 2x single gates. A topographical map was provided showing the fence line in relation to the house. Lines were spray painted on the ground which the fence line was to follow. The fence was not installed as directed nor did the Fence Co fulfill its contractual material and labor obligations. We brought these shortcomings to their attention. They disputed our allegations, did not return to inspect the work done and elected to have their lawyer write us a letter demanding payment. We refused. After several rounds of email and 45 days later they elected to return, re-install the fence where it was supposed to be in the first place and reduce the balance due by ~15% since they did not deliver and install what was agreed to...

Description of Work: Replaced locks on gates, added a new gate and moved a section of fence.

Description of Work: On 2/26/14 I left a message for The Fence Company to conact me about an estimate for chain link fencing. They returned my call and the gentleman who I spoke with said he could not not help me but the owner of the company would would call me back that day to discuss my needs. As of 3/3/14 no one has contacted me. The company must have more business than they need! Very unprofessional. See ya!

Description of Work: I had a gate installed in an existing fence. It was a little job that I wanted done. $400.00 is minimum charge. Compared to other quote.

Description of Work: New wooden privacy gate built onsite in my driveway in Mt. Adams. Gate is very sturdy and has a unique locking system used by the Fence Co. Black aluminum fencing installed in my backyard both to keep in the dogs and to separate my property from neighbors on all sides. The installation took a little longer than expected due to extremely hot weather and not enough materials initially ordered for the aluminum fencing. The installers were very friendly and worked very hard in less than ideal conditions. Overall we are very pleased with the result and would definitely use The Fence Co again.

Description of Work: No service performed. Called for an estimate and spoke to Gina. She was very nice but informed me that they do not serve Hidden Valley Lake Community which is right on the Ohio/Indiana boarder and right off of I-275. Just posting this as an FYI for others in Indiana that may be interested in getting an estimate from this company. They indicate in their information that they only cover certain parts of Dearborn County but it sounds like they don't serve any part of Dearborn County and need to update their information. She indicated she needed to update the info. during our conversation but apparently that hasn't happened yet.

Description of Work: Gina - responded to my call with in 24 hours of leaving a message. Scheduled an apt within a day and gave me my estimate on the estimate b4 leaving. She was professional and knew exactly what she was doing. Gave me information on County Codes because we were installing a pool. Wes the installer did a remarkable job, courteous, punctual and work until almost dark during the heat advisory. Wes took pride in every post he installed to ensure it was perfect. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone. A+++++ RATING FROM ME.
