I received a quote within a few days of requesting one and the service was completed within 10 days. The crew was professional and did a great job at leaving the area very clean.

This was a relatively small job, but close to a wooden fence. As my residence is somewhat close to the Scotties shop, the supervisor Keith was able to fit this job in between others, and earlier than anticipated. Keith arrived with the crew, to make sure we were all on the same page. After Keith left, Troy and his crew of 3 worked steadily and safely. All four wore helmets and communicated well verbally. All were very personable and professional. Troy is a good crew leader - keeping his crew safe and commending his staff on jobs well done. They completely cleared the yard, drive and street of debris; leaving no sign that they were even here. I highly recommend Scotties for this type of job. - Mark S.

Overall, an excellent job. I called before leaving town for 3 weeks; due to heavy demand for tree cutting at that time, there was a few weeks before they could get to the job. When I called to see where we were on the schedule, I was asked if they could come out even if I were not in residence; I decided to go ahead and let them do the job instead of rescheduling it. I was a little concerned since I had never used this company before; however, there was no need to worry! They did a great job. I was home the following day and everything was cleaned up with no damage to the fencing or pond. Would definitely use them again.

He fit me in even though there had been several huge storms and he was getting calls from all over. I was out of town and he let me pay when I got back. Great guy!

I was very impressed with them the first time I used them a few years ago. So I called this time. They are very responsive, they showed up on time, and they did exactly what they said they were going to do. It went smoothly and that's always nice. They were great. One thing that was not wonderful this last time was they forgot to bill us. We had to call about three times to get a bill.

We were very pleased with our experience. They came at the time the said they would, started right away, and cleaned up all the debris.

Nothing really stood out so they must have been pretty good. I don't remember a whole lot about it but they came and took them down. I would recommend them.

All workers were extremely professional, polite, hard-working, and tidy. I watched as they did a job at the home across the street first, and was very impressed with the work ethic that I witnessed. They did the same excellent job here, and their pricing was competitive.

I left a voicemail with my request for a quote. They returned my call another day or two later to go over the details, and said they'd swing by my house and take a look. It's about 2 weeks later, and I never heard back.

They did a really good job! They arrived immediately; two hours after I called. I would definitely use them again.

The stump was removed in good fashion, but the response to coming & doing the work was very slow. I was in the process of calling someone else when the work was done.

I don?t know yet if they are going to get the job because it is too soon. I had a positive experience with them. They have a great reputation around here and I thought they were very professional. I didn?t even ask them for a written quote because it was obvious that they were going to be in on the high side. I would consider them for a larger job.

Scottie's was prompt in giving an estimate on a Saturday, then were able to schedule the job for the following Tuesday. They took out the limbs we had discussed and cleaned up a few that I hadn't thought of. The yard and driveway were raked, blowed off, and all limbs and debris hauled away. I probably don't rake my own yard that cleanly. The entire job took about two hours with one person in a bucket truck and another climbing the tree in the back yard were the truck couldn't reach. Three others did the ground work. Their estimate was within the range of others I got. I'd use them again.

I called the company to get an estimate on stump removal. I received a follow-up call the next day saying that they would be out to my house later that day for the estimate. They never came out and I never heard from them again. Very unprofessional!

I was very satisfied. The owner was responsive, explained the details of what he proposed to do quite thoroughly, and showed up with his crew when he said he would.

They are really good because we have had a lot of different tree trimmers. They are professional and they know what they are doing. My husband is really picky about the tree service because we do a lot of landscaping in our yard and we have had so many tree pruners over the years, tree trimmers, and tree removers. They really are great in every way.

The crew showed up on time and were very professional yet friendly. They would ask how they were doing and did I have any questions. Once they were here we asked if they could cut in another area that had not been discussed and they were very willing to do the additional work. It did take one and half days to complete the work becasue the tree that was 4ft in diameter was a very difficult to to remove-it was very close to our house and ivy had grown into the bark of the tree. You would never know that we had trees removed if you did not see the very small stumps that are left. The clean up and removed of debris was amazing! Our costs were higher than the origianl estimate but that is because we asked for additional work to be done once they got here and we coudl see their work. We do not have any don'ts. We will highly recommend this company

They were one of two companies that I called for estimates. Keith at Scottie's responded more quickly to my questions, and offered suggestions on which limbs to take off and which to just trim. They crew that did the work was very friendly, well coordinated, efficient, and did an excellent job. They removed the dying tree and the large limbs without damaging my wife's nearby shrubs. They cleaned up the debris and were done quickly.

Scottie's and Sons Tree Service had misplaced my order. When they showed up a couple of weeks ago they gave me a discount for being late. They sent 6 to 8 guys out. They did a wonderful job and cleaned up after themselves. I will use them again.

They are very quick and they will first send someone out to look at the job that needs done. I didn't have to be home when they did the work and the only way I could tell that they'd been here was that the job we wanted done was done. They left everything impecably clean. They just do a beautiful job from start to finish. They are very busy so you might have to wait a little bit.

We had tree removal from our house and driveway due to a severe storm. We chose Scottie's & Son Tree Service (a local family owned service), not knowing that much about them, but their ad advertised free estimates (true), were fully insured, and did insurance work. They were called yesterday morning, and sent a man out to do the estimate (the owner, Scottie, as it turned out as his team were doing a big job elsewhere in the city) who arrived on time. The whole job of removal and clean up came in at the price quoted. The service also talked to our insurance company to coordinate services. They brought men and equipment to do the job properly, they were very professional, and as a result, we were tree free in no time. It is important to note that they do not take credit cards and you may have to leave requests for service on their voice mail if you do not happen to reach someone in their office. But for me these are small quibbles. I was very, very happy with their service, and would recommend them to anyone.
