Attic Insulation

We were very pleased with the work that Parsons did for us. Bill Parsons came and told us about their services. He explained the product they would be using for the insulation. Both Bill and the installers were courteous and friendly. The installation went smoothly. I would recommend Parsons to my friends for work they need done. I would also seriously consider them for future projects.

The experience was good with the company. They did a fine job cosmetically.

Terrible! Expensive coating which was guaranteed for the life of the patio whitened after 48 hours. Parsons has been trying to clean it off and recoat it since October 2018 unsuccessfully. They have ~90% removed but more work to do plus they still have to reseal it. At first they were responsive but now I have to chase them for support. I feel I am getting a runaround despite them assuring me I am a priority and they will get the job done. Here it is the end of June and still chasing them. I need help!

Everyone we worked with was very professional. The salesman was very responsive when I had questions or concerns during the job. The crew knew what they were doing and did an excellent job. There was an area of rot under two windows that turned out to be a much bigger job to fix than was apparent from the surface. They did a great job replacing the underlying structure and shingles and installed flashing to prevent future problems. They also did a marvelous job of cleaning up all the debris. Windows were covered and the three colors were put on exactly as we wanted.

The salesman told me applying spray foam 1" then installing fiberglass would be a cheaper alternative I agree with him) since applying spray foam only was too expensive which I told him in the beginning I thought would be correct it's called flash and batt. When he called me back to go over the prices he said the flash and batt was way more than only spray foaming the wall. I've been in the construction business for 15 years and keep up to date on the best processes and I knew for a fact that 1" of spray foam and then applying the cheapest insulation, being fiberglass would be a lot cheaper than foam only (one of the most expensive products). I don't like being lied to and will not do business with him again.

Bill Parsons and an associate came out the same day I called. I had already contracted with another company to do the repair work, but needed a painter for afterwards and was interested in the Tex-Cote that I'd heard advertised. I asked him to prepare separate estimates for both the repair and painting, which he did within 24 hrs. The estimate for repair was very competitive with the previous contractor; actually, about half the cost, so I do wish that we had gotten in touch with Parsons in the summer when we were getting estimates. The estimate for painting is significantly higher than other estimates we had received, but comparing regular paint with Tex-Cote is like apples and oranges. The Tex-Cote is guaranteed to last for as long as we own the house, so could well be worth the added expense. We are going to honor our commitment for repair work to the previous contractor, but will consider having Parsons apply the Tex-Cote in the spring when the temperature is conducive to painting.

In March Co. installed reflective insulation in attic. Promised a saving of 25% energy consumption. Insulation not yet completed. We're not saving 25%.

Everything turned out very good. My blinds were put up incorrectly but he will fix it if I call him. They have done other painting services in the past and I have always been pleased. They are not cheap but they do a very good job. Everyone is very professional and very educated. They always show up on time.

Shawn Mouch came to our house and gave us an estimate to repair our leaking skylight. We chose Parsons over other companies because they offered to repair instead of replace the skylight, which fit our budget at this time. Shawn was professional and on time. Our skylight was repaired two months ago and it hasn't leaked at all (and we have had some heavy snow and rain since then!). We are very pleased with their work.
