The plans for the irrigation system were very lacking. They had about 1/3 number of sprinkler heads and 1/3 number of valves as other bids (approx 7 other bids). From looking at the design, I did not have much confidence in what they had said. They also said that it was not possible to tap into the water source from the outside, that they would have to drill through foundation (something that other 7 bids did not agree with).

This company bought the accounts of our previous lawn service and agreed to honor his prices. They sub-contracted with another mower to do our yard. He scalped many areas on the yard due to mowing too fast when turning. He did not cut to the true margins of the yard. He also almost ran down one of my children. He also said the company told him to mow whether the yard needed it or not. The worst offense is their billing department, which is completely haphazard. No monthly bill, just one whenever they feel like it. They just sent me a bill in February when my last service was in November. Three months later and for a service they didn't even do.

Put the system in and tried to charge us more - needed more sprinkler heads than they thought. We disputed it. They said they wouldn't finish the project. They finished it and we didn't end up having to pay extra.

They didn't edge our beds very well and they weren't very careful about how they trimmed/sculpted our shrubs and plants (some shrubs were uneven and other plants were trimmed that shouldn't have been because they are only supposed to be cut in the fall).

BAD BY THE NUMBERS! 1. THE ESTIMATOR DID NOT LIST ALL THE TASKS DISCUSSED IN THE WORK ORDER. WE HAD TO CORRECT THE LIST. 2. THE PEOPLE WHO DID THE WORK DIDN'T DO WHAT WAS AGREED TO AND WALKED OFF THE JOB. 3. PER OUR AGREEMENT, PARAMOUNT AGREED TO TRIM OUR TREES ABOVE THE ROOF AND DIDN'T DO THIS AT ALL. 4. THEIR PRICING IS BIZARRE, WE WERE QUOTED $916.00. THEN, LATER, WE WERE TOLD THAT THE OVERALL JOB TOOK TWO DAYS (IT DIDN'T) AND THAT WE SHOULD HAVE PAID $1,936.00. $1,936.00 FOR BED CLEANING AND SHRUB TRIMMING?? WE HAVE A SMALL SUBURBAN LOT. 5. TO TRY TO RESOLVE THIS, WE CALLED SIX TIMES, THEY PROMISED TO COME OUT EACH TIME. WE THEN WROTE THEM A LETTER AND GOT NO RESPONSE, ONLY THE MENTION OF A BBB COMPLAINT IN OUR FINAL CALL GOT US AN ANSWER. AFTER ALL THIS, THEY ONLY OFFERED A $200 DISCOUNT. OVERALL, A LOT OF WASTED TIME AND EFFORT.

I AM HAVING A DIFFICULT TIME TRYING TO GET ANYONE TO SHOW UP TO ACTUALLY MOW THE LAWN. IT IS REALLY LONG AND MESSY. IT IS NEVER TRIMMED. THEY HAVE A HIGH TURNOVER RATE AND I NEVER SEE THE SAME MOWING PERSON TWICE. I WOULD NOT USE THEM AGAIN.
