Response from Heritage Hardwood Floors
We at Heritage Hardwood Floors are sorry that the customer has not given us a good rating for the job performed. We strive to achieve or exceed customer expectations on every job. The floor work that was performed at this residence was not a floor that we originally installed. The floor was a prefinished floor with beveled edges between the boards. It also had some gaps between the boards in areas along with the beveled edges. Upon the original meeting with the customer, it was discussed that the beveled edges may be reduced by sanding of the floor but there would still be some bevel visible after we were done with the floor. We never said the bevel would be removed. We completed the work on schedule, and were told the floor looked good. It was a matter of weeks after we were done that a call came in saying that they were not happy about the remaining beveled edge. I visited the job, and we did send a service rep to touch up a gap with some filler. The customer was comparing this floor to another floor in the neighborhood that we did not work on. We have worked on many floors in that neighborhood, and there are many different types of floors installed there, but I cannot compare this floor to another job I have not done. It has been almost 2 years since we completed the job and this review was posted recently. If there was anything that may have not been completed to our standards, I have not been made aware.
