Called Ead fence # I got from Internet & Brian returned my call & came to give estimate within a couple of days. We received estimates from 3 companies. Ead's was cheapest by far. Considering the estimate amount & reputation of Ead's we hired them. Spring was very wet and our neighborhood is clay soil so yards don't drain well. Work was delayed because of rain but 2 workers soon showed up & got to work. They did not speak English well and I was very disappointed that Ead's estimate was maybe so competitive because of the people they employed to do the installation. I don't know that for a fact. But with the economy the way it is I was certainly hoping to employ local people. Work proceeded & I felt badly for the 2 men working in the mud and wondered how the cement was going to dry with all of the standing water. Workers stated that since neighbor on 1 side did not allow us to take down the chainlink fence that they would have to install that side backwards-with the nice side facing IN. We said OK, how were we to know differently?? Then a couple of months later our neighbor installed the 4th side on his property without removing the chainlink-and did it correctly-by himself. I can only conclude that our workers were either lazy or did not know how to install a fence correctly! Installers removed a survey pin from the ground! They also tore about 10 feet of my neighbor's drainage system out of the ground because it was "in their way." This would not have been an issue, as it was installed improperly & didn't work, but it was left protruding from the ground. We cut it & removed it ourselves. Both gates are incredibly cheaply done, don't hang well, and latches are cheap & difficult to operate. One board fell down 2 days after fence was completed. Call Ead's 3 times before anyone called back to fix, by then we had done it ourselves. Several boards are not level. Many boards need to be renailed. We will do it ourselves rather than have Ead's send the same guys who didn't do it correctly come back. Workers left much debris behind including bottles & cups, nails are scattered throughout the back yard, pieces of wood, packaging,etc. I would NOT hire Ead's again after this experience & will never recommend them. I can't imagine that they will honor warranty work as we couldn't get them to come back to nail in 1 board that fell down! The wood used is supposed to be pressure treated but is not smooth & isquite flimsy. We did NOT get what we paid for. I do NOT recommend Ead's. Sadly all of the other reviews I have read do not seem to be the same company that installed our fence.

The quality of their work is very good. The workers were very nice. The price was reasonable.

They were wonderful and returned phone calls. Their estimated price was $2700 for a half acre lot. I have also received another estimate, but I have not gone with either of them yet. I would consider using them again in the future.

The work started a day late, and the first team that came to do the prep work didn't do too much work at all aside from drop off materials, but the next team, Rusty and Thomas, were awesome. They cleared problem foliage without disrupting the landscaping, and worked throughout the day. Within two and a half days, the work was complete. It is a beautiful fencing job, the gates are functional and all-over aesthetically pleasing. Our goal of having a simple, but beautiful fence that can keep our two German shepherds enclosed is exactly what we wanted.

This is a quality company that provides very good service. The price was a bit high but we are still very happy with the result and will use EADS in the future.

Our experience with Eads was terrific. Matt and his team are true professionals. Matt returned my call promptly and was able to install the fence at the time that we needed it. We have installed fences in other homes we owned and I have to say this was the most professional fencing company I have dealt with. The team that installed the fence had such attention to detail. During installation they took the time to really think about how the fence should be installed, what the posts should look like facing out, etc. Honestly there were details that I never thought about and I am so glad they brought to my attention. It was like they were installing the fence at their own home, that's how much they wanted the fence to look good in our backyard.

. I think I found them on Angies List. I was there when they did my daughters partial fence which the dog had knocked down. I was pleased with the work they did. They came on a winter day dug a hole through the cement and got it up and it was done just the way we had hoped. I think they came the very next day after we told them that we were in desperate need. They put in a real fence with the vinyl on each side of the house and across the back. I did not go on any bid with him. I would use them in the future.

After a period of lack of communication (or miscommunication, as they would have it) the company contacted us again. We went ahead with their proposal and are satisfied with work. Chris really tried to accommodate us into Eads' busy schedule and was responsive to our inquiries and demands.

Excellent job. Showed up on time as scheduled, were very neat, and finished work is excellent.

initial job scheduled for 2 days took 2 wks. i never got a walkthrough at the end. On the back privacy fence 2 different woods were used giving it a striped appearance. The supervisor came out and said that it should never have been done this way (he said the darker wood was cedar, but i later learned it was just stained cedar). A crew came out to replace the boards, but said that there was something wrong with the wood that they had put up and it all had to be taken down. The replaced the fence with wood that literally appeared green, the chemical sprayed on it was that apparent. When I complained again, no one came out and I was told to pay the rest of the money at that point. I made an appointment with their supervisor and showed pictures of my fence. The fence was then replaced with cedar, this was one month after the fence was supposed to be completed but the upgrade was at there cost. In the end, they did make it right. This says many good things about them. However, because of what I went through to get there I would not use this company again. I do believe this company does not usually operate in this manner and that this was an unusual experience, but I can only report on the experience that I had. 6mo later the fence still looks good.

They were ok. They ordered the fence in the wrong color. We got black instead of copper. The gates are installed backwards. The salesmen were wonderful. The installers leave a lot to be desired. We are working with them right now to fix the gates.

The fence is beautiful. We had some communication issues in the beginning. They did good quality work.

We are about to put our house on the market. "Little jobs" are aplenty and the repair of portions of the fence were on the list. Originally I tried to do it myself. BIG MISTAKE. I had purchased materials from EADS only to call after a few HOT hours on the job and ask them to come do the project before I hurt myself. The telephone assistance I received, followed the person who did the quote, the scheduler and of course the workers themselves did a GREAT job ... all within one week. I'm tickled, the job looks great and its just one more thing off the to-do list. THANKS EADS !!!

Alan came out and gave the initial estimate. Our yard has a very steep tree lined side that was a bit tricky to fence. Alan was happy to suggest some methods for fencing that area. When we decided to go with Eads Alan scheduled us for the next week. The two man team were polite, professional, and followed our instructions (minimal cutting of trees and bushes) to the letter. They finished quickly and the fence looks terrific.

We live in a modern house so it was difficult to find a fence that was appropriate for the architecture of our home. We found galvanized roofing material and worked with our architect to design something suitable. The problem ensued when we looked for someone to install this unusual material. Prices were too high, or people just didn't get it. Eads was wonderful. They were easy to deal with, solved our installation problems and even improved upon the design. The men we worked with were true professionals.

They were on time and courteous. They did a professional job. They were really helpful with the issues I was having. The installation went smoothly. They did a nice clean-up job.

The bronze matched my house and it was what I wanted. The pool company that installed my pool recommended them. I think the cost was pretty high. The installation went well. I had a problem with the magnetic gates not locking and the guy came out right away and fixed them.

My daughter had three large dogs that had knocked over a section of their old fence. I was there throughout the entire event. The dogs escaped when I was sitting for my grandson. I called Eads from a referral from a landscaping company and your list. My daughter and I spoke with the Eads representative. And I was there the day of the install. The Eads estimator came by the next day. He helped them select the best replacement fence for the dogs and, best of all, put the installation ahead of others since the dogs might escape again. The installers were a little slow to arrive on the day of installation, but completed the job in an afternoon.

We had used Eads before and they did a great job. This second job went really well. Brian, the salesguy, was great to deal with. The crew showed up on time. They did exactly what we asked them to do and got the job done quickly.

I sent an email in the summer and I've called twice since September. I was told that someone would be back in touch with me but I've yet to hear from anyone. Short from calling the owner and complaining, I think I'll just find someone else on Angie's List to do the job.

His work was amazing. The artistic work was excellent. The timing was excellent he did a very good job. I had a problem with one of the things but they came back out and did a very good job fixing the problem.

Very professional. They give you an estimate very quickly. The first repair was very quick because they had the particular fencing in stock. Had to wait a little longer for the second repair's fencing stock, but worth the wait to have them do it.

Fence needed to be repaired, salesman came out gave me an estimate, I agreed to the price, they completed the work within two weeks.

Went with a different firm since I never could get them to quote.

They are total amateur's. They banged up my walls and my wood furniture. They didn't put any tarp down and made a mess. They did not have any respect for personal property. They did not properly prepare or sand the walls. The drywall job was totally unacceptable. I have spent $6000 dollars trying to fix the damage they have done.
