They did a very nice job, but nothing in particular stood out. I give them all A's and will use them again in the future.

Installation was completed in 1 day. Fence was installed with excellent craftsmanship. Quality was superb.

.Now I notice a very strange fact: Angie's list published these people "answer" WITHOUT publishing my complaint. The history is the following: Eads was hired by our neighbors to build a fence. The problem was that they were asked to build the fence on our property, even though we asked the nieighbors NOT to do this. My wife went there and, sitting on our property asked the Eads workers to remove the pole they installed on our property. Their "customer" came towards my wife saying that, no matter what, they will build the fence on our property and HE assaulted my wife. After that, my wife called the police who directed them to get out of our property which they did. These lies of us beeing reported to police are just that: lies.. Whatever "report" their customer filed with the police, was not brought to our attention. It was definitely a formality meant to be thrown to the garbage can. So this is what really happened: the Eads people were part of their "customer" plot to build illegally on our property. The true assailant was their customer and they behaved rudely with my wife even after the police told them to get out of our property.

I signed a contract with an Eads representative (Barney Macarts) in June (install was to be about the second week of July). A couple of weeks after I signed the service contract, the rep called to let me know they couldn't provide the style of fence we'd agreed on. I'm not sure why he didn't know the availability when I signed the contract. What he wanted to sell me was not in their brochure, so he brought a sample to my home. I was not happy with the flimsy material (vinyl). I eventually decided I wanted my deposit back so I could go with another company. My experience wasn't horrible with Eads, but I was disappointed in the materials & customer service. The woman who answers the main phone line is the worst. One of managers and I played phone tag when I tried to express my issues with my order, but we never connected. I will say they had decent pricing.

They are actually friendly. They asked if we would like a drop off. They did the drop off as scheduled. They have a few good deals.

The work itself went well. Eddie, the tech, needed access to electricity, so we had to reschedule. He was out the next day and done by 8 AM. Looks good, and I am now out of excuses to put off staining the fence. My issue concerns administrative details. I called to schedule my repair and to pay the deposit. They lost the paper work. I also paid Eddie when the work was completed. Three days later, my deposit check still had not cleared despite their having it for over a month. When I called, I was then informed that I owed $130, to which I responded I already paid that and wanted to know when they intended to cash the check. The work itself was great, and I called Eads based on the beautiful job they did on my neighbors' new privacy fence. The pricing was very reasonable, and the fact that Eddie showed up at 7 AM to do the work rather than make us wait was great. However, Eads needs to address its organization issues in scheduling and payments before I use them again.

The work was completed as expected.

Using the 'quote' function on Angie's list, I requested a quote for services two times. Neither request was answered, consequently, I awarded my business to another provider.

They provided the estimate quickly. I did not accept it right away, as I was waiting for another estimate. The other estimate was ridiculously expensive. I called Eads at once, they scheduled it, and the work was done. They did come on a different day from the one originally scheduled because of another job that wasn't complete right away. They did call to let me know. I was very pleased with the work and the price. The crew installing the railing were nice.

The experience was fine. I liked the price. They were the better price of the places I got estimates from.

My experience with them was fine, but it was a little tough getting a hold of them. But once I did they did what they needed to do. They were friendly.

Listened gave feedback & suggested ideas that had not occurred to us.

I told them I wasn't interested in using them and they never even asked why!

Rep was very professional and responsive.

They were not as punctual as they said they would be. I did not go with them because of the response time. They might just be busy or something but I ended up choosing a different company.

They were very friendly and thorough. We just decided not to do the project. They were fantastic.

Over a month later, at the end of March 2013, I had yet to receive any information and called EADS to follow-up. The man answering the phone promised that the estimator would call me right back with the quote. I provided my cell so he could reach me at any time yet never received a call. Upon returning home at the end of the day there was an estimate stuck on my door and dated that same day. It seems clear to me that all of my time spent during the first visit was wasted as the estimate appeared to have to been re-done hastily that morning without consideration of my prior input. Most notable was that the total cost was not broken out as promised between the two liable parties, making it pretty useless for moving forward. In addition, the cost was slightly higher than the estimated calculation provided by the insurance company. Finally, the quote did not make clear how many sections of replaced fencing it applied to, just feet, so I would have to go in the back and measure to figure out if it included all of them. After elevating the problem of non-receipt of an estimate to the EADS office, there was never a follow-up call by management or the office staff to see whether I received the quote or had any questions. I am most disappointed at the lack of professionalism and responsiveness I experienced and now have to start all over with another company. I will not use EADS again for any future work.

They came out to provide an estimate right away. The price was fair, and they were able to install the gate by the date we needed it. The installer showed up on time, took the amount of time he promised to complete the job, and cleaned up after himself. The gate looks great!

They were responsive, timely, cleaned up their mess, and responded to issues afterwards. They were excellent. They have been very responsive to any issues we had.

First called Eads in late November. Promptly received visit and subsequent proposal with cost estimate. Materials were fabricated in a timely manner. There was a short delay in installation due to weather.

The crew showed up at the time that they said that they would be there. All debris was removed from the yard, by the end of the first day. The replacement fence was installed by the end of the second day. All of the work was done according to schedule.

Out of the three companies I interviewed this one seemed the best. Our sales person was on time and answered all questions I had. I had to follow up within a few days since I had not received the quote promised me at the end of the day of the the initial interview. After receiving the quote I again had to make all contact, I was never contacted to see if I had any questions or anything about moving forward with our project. I did decide to go with this company but went over the 'contract' and found mistakes (Fence was not to be placed in dirt but into a new stamped concrete path etc.) Along with details that were missing I had this changed to be a detailed account of the work that was to be preformed so there was no question of what we were expecting. I also discussed the price with them feeling it was very high compared to other quotes I had received which they did work with me on. I continued asking along the way about time line once we were ready for the fence to go in. They have a policy of half down prior to starting the installation. We paid this and were told we would be installed within 2 weeks. So after the 2 week period was up I emailed my "sales" person to find out when we could schedule our installation and I was told "I don't know. Not this week though." I was also told in this email that the product for our job was in and I told again that someone would contact me. So I let a few more days go by and I called myself and set it up. I was told they could "fit me in". The work has been completed. And yet I was not surprised to not hear anything from this company after the install. I finally received a phone call 10 days after installation and then they directly charged my credit card a few days later. So for us when we are ready to do the fence around our whole house we most likely won't be called Ead's Fencing. I would give our experience with this company a C or D. They were originally over priced, there is a complete lack of care for their business and communication with their customers, contracts are vague and we was upset that they felt it was ok to charge our credit card without my written or verbal consent.

- They arrived on time on a Friday & we had an estimate on Monday. They were a little higher than we hoped, but were lower than another company, so we hired them. Communication was good throughout the process, as there were a few delays. First, the posts were damaged during delivery to their business, so they were re-delivered ASAP & brought out & installed the day after delivery. The glass panels were installed as soon as they were made. Unfortunately, 2 panels were too long, due to the bowing of our wood support posts. So those panels were re-cut and installed promptly. We LOVE our new railing and would hire them again if we have anymore railing or fencing needs. They were all very professional.

We contacted Eads Fence Co. for an estimate to fence in our back yard. Brian came out to provide an estimate on Oct 8, and was a pleasure to work with. The price quoted (approx. $3000) was competitive with our other estimates. Ultimately, we had to make a decision between several fencing providers we would have been happy with, and Eads was not the bid we ultimately selected. That being said, I would have had no problem choosing Eads, and wavered back and forth several times between estimates before finally deciding. Ultimately, the decision came down to two factors: 1) The Eads installation would have required me to clear the brush along one of the fence lines while our chosen installer offered to clear the brush for the same price. 2) The Eads contract included a contingency for increased cost for rock/root removal, while our chosen installer promised no additional cost.

Fantastic. The guy came quickly, told us what we needed,gave us some choices of style. They worked our small job in with a larger job in our neighborhood, which moved us up on the list.
