They performed the basic functions you would expect. The technician was clean, friendly and informative. The only negative issue I experianced were: - The Tech did not attempt to move some of the furniture and items to provide access for extraction, - The insurance company, which replaced the carpet and pad, said that BKA should have removed the padding. - after over a week of fans and de-humidification, the finished part of the basement was 100% dry only after I moved all the room's contents to the unfinished side and removed the carpet and padding my self, exposing the bare concrete floor.,
Description of Work: Sump pump overflowed and soaked 80% if the basement. Half of the basement is finished. I contacted them through an old number for Widmer's. Apparently, Widmer's disaster recovery business was sold off. BKA is a recently formed company. One technician arrived after hours and used a weighted extractor on the carpet. Sprayed about 1 gal of some kind of anti-microbial solution on the carpet. (Approx. 340 sq. ft.) then set up two large dehumidifiers and about 4 fans.
