Description of Work: Despite his commitment to get back to me by phone, email and get him to come to my house for an estimate he never returned my calls, email, or showed up for the estimate. Talked a good story about how good he was but he never lived up to his commitments. I asked if he would at least let me know that he could not do the work, and still got no response. Unprofessional.

+ 0 moreEverything went very well. I had sent Doug the list of tasks in advance and then we reviewed when he arrived promptly. He explained which tasks he was good with tackling (most of them) and which specialty tasks he recommended I use a service provider who specialized in those areas (e.g., refinishing hardwood floors). I appreciated his honesty. Doug brings many supplies in his van and then he was happy to pick up additional supplies needed for the various projects. He made recommendations of other general maintenance services for my consideration but was not pushy about it. He was professional and I would definitely use Doug in the future for handyman tasks. The cost above reflected a full day's work plus the cost of supplies required which seemed reasonable.
Description of Work: Painting, repair of front porch, purchased and hung window blinds, hung hooks, replaced and installed new smoke detectors, miscellaneous other handyman tasks.
