He repaired our problem and all the lights in our home are brighter. He was very patient and took the time to explain everything to us. He also provided a free estimate for work that we will need to have completed in the future. We will definitely use this service again and we would recommend Vern to our friends.
Description of Work: Vern called in response to our search for an electrician. We explained how we were having problems with power outages in various parts of the house and flickering lights.

+ -1 moreVern was very nice and called before he came to the house (but had given a very accurate time estimate earlier that morning.) He was patient in explaining the problem and solution and answered all of my questions. I truly appreciated that he said to wait on a repair (because it may not be needed) instead of just doing extra work to get more money. That was very honest! We plan to use Vern's services for future work we plan to have done.
Description of Work: We had outages in only certain areas of our home. Vern came on a Saturday after we called that morning. He located the problem and fixed it. He then explained what was wrong, showed me what he did and let me know that if I experienced it again what the problem could be (beyond that morning.) He also gave me an verbal estimate for what the future repair would cost. When I asked if I needed to replace the part right then, he said no and explained why rather than just saying yes to make extra money.
