BK was amazing. I really felt like he took the time to go through everything with us. He was really thorough and we appreciated his time. He gave us suggestions of things that we could do ourselves as well as other minor home improvements.

BK was wonderful! Personable and very thorough. He made sure. I understood everything. He was on time & completed the inspection when he said he would.

After doing research on all the home inspections in the area I choose to go with King Home Inspection because all the great reviews and someone I know liked him very well!Expect to spend 4+ hours going over the entire house (which is a good thing) Brian got there an hour or so before I did to start the inspection; which includes taking pictures and notes along the way. When you arrive, he talks to you about some things and gives you a bottle of water and a flashlight. From there you start walking around looking at EVERYTHING. At the end he gives comments on what he saw and condition of the areas that need fixed. At the inspection he gives you a 3 ring binder with information along with 50 or so blank pages for you to print off the report at home. I called him on a Monday and he was able to squeeze me in on that Saturday in the morning. That Thursday he went out to the house at 8pm to setup the radon test. Brian had the report to me, via e-mail, by Sunday at 5pm. . I can't remember the exact price (what I listed was approximate but close to the correct price) but for the great service he provides it is well worth it! I even had a few questions weeks later and he remember the house and was able to address my question promptly. I wouldn't hesitate to use him again or refer him to someone else (which I've done already) We haven't gotten the keys yet but if I find something that should have been caught I will update. Great work!!!

BK was very knowedgeable and didn't hesitate to point out both the small things needing attention as well as the immediate fixes needed. Definitely learned a lot about our new home.

BK explained that he would show up around 8:30 am and asked us to stop by around 9:30 - the hour prior he wanted to check the roof and other exterior areas, and perform the wood destroying insect inspection (which we were not present for). When we arrived, he had told us he actually arrived around 8 am, and we saw the ladder to the roof and other equipment around the property. We went inside and he greeted us, and had bottled water and some pop available - which was a nice touch. He asked us if we had any specific concerns and then let us know about some things that were to be expected with homes built in the 60s. He provided us with some flashlights as well so we could highlight and see everything he was pointing out to us. He was VERY thorough and found a lot of small things along with a couple issues to be addressed immediately, and gave us some tips, recommended some resources of us to use for home repairs, improvement etc. While he did find a lot of things we didn't expect, due to discussions with him and reading info on his website, we were not overwhelmed and were appreciative to have the report and notes to fall back on. He also gave us tips on regular maintenance and things to budget for that might need replacing soon. When we wrapped up, he mentioned the report would be available in 24-36 hours - in fact it was in our inboxes about 12 hours later, filled with pictures and recommendations. As we were impressed by his attention to details in person, his report reflected the same. In total he spent over 4 hours in the home...I really feel like we got our money's worth. And he's a pretty nice and down to earth guy too. Would definitely recommend him to anyone needing a good home inspection.

B.K. was absolutely amazing and incredibly attentive and thorough. He spent an hour in the home before we arrived checking the roof (he climbed right up to the roof on a ladder and visually and manually inspected it in addition to taking photographs), immediate perimeter, and gutters. After we arrived he spend an additional 5 hours going through the house, inch by inch, letting nothing get by. He was extremely knowledgeable and in addition to providing us with a great deal of confidence in our new purchase, he taught us a lot! We'll be better homeowners as a result of B.K.'s suggestions! His report was extremely detailed and thorough, and he provided additional manuals for maintaing a home and a moving guide. He was really a professional and we would highly recommend him to anyone.

BK was so great the first time around, we decided to use him again when the first house offer fell through. BK is awesome! He is so thorough! While he found items, he made sure to point out the ones that should be taken care of before moving in vs. those that are standard routine maintenance. There was no doubt in our minds that he didn't know what he was talking about. He even gave us additional information to read through when we asked questions. I feel comfortable moving into the home that we chose after talking with BK. Thanks for everything!

The Inspector showed up right on time and got started immediately as he saw it was going to rain soon and wanted to be able to safely inspect the roof before it began. Once we arrived he took his time and explained all his findings as we walked through each room of the home. Any questions we had about issus he answered on the spot or addressed in the actual report. The report itself was very through and had visual documentation of all problematic and maintenance issues. Would highly recommend.

Things went well. They did a thorough inspection, and we haven't found any issues that they missed.

The inspector was very friendly and very knowledgeable. He arranged everything so that we didn't waste any time, and he provided very helpful advice.

B.K was extremely knowledgable, helpful and respectful in completing our home inspection. He gave us helpful tips on how to maintain our home and upon completion of the inspection, he provided us with a full detailed report. He treated the inspection as if it were his own home. I would highly recommend him for a home inspection and radon testing. He even provided us with pop and water and a helpful book with tips on maintaining our home!

Brian "B.K." Thompson from King Home Inspection, LLC. was awesome. BK is a highly educated, ASHI certified professional. He arrived earlier as the house was vacant and worked diligently before and even after we left for a total of 5 and a half hours! There was about 4" of fresh snow and he was outside, going all over the house and even on the ladder to look over the 2 story roof. Not only was he ready with multiple flashlights for us, but he even had a cooler filled with drinks when we arrived. He asked if there were any areas that we wanted him to focus on and did his best to make us feel as comfortable as possible. While inspecting, he made sure we knew and understood everything that was wrong or could potentially go wrong in the house. If we didn’t understand, he would go in depth even further which was great. On top of that, he went above and beyond by giving us advice, books to read so we could save some money, and suggestions on who we could contact to fix the items he was pointing out. At one point, we mentioned that we were planning on having the carpets cleaned and he was ready to provide references. While giving the reference, he strongly stated that we should go with who we want but if he had to pick someone, he would go with “x” or “y”. He was not afraid to go anywhere and made sure everything was highly documented on paper and pictures from his camera. Not only was he professional, he helped keep us at ease while pointing out different items. We highly recommend BK to any and every one looking for a thorough inspection.
