He was referred to us. It says on his card, ?Angie?s List Super Service Award!? It?s a skylight with one of those tubes that opens up through the roof and brings sunlight in. It?s a second bathroom that doesn?t have any windows. I should have done it a long time ago. He crawled up into the attic and figured out how to work this pipe through and where it could go out onto exterior into the roof. You have to drill little a hole in the roof to let in and put a cap with a light box on top of it. Then the tube goes into the ceiling into your bathroom with a little bit of a plexiglass cover. So, you have to be careful you don?t get wires and you?ve got to go around the insulation and everything. Velux is the company that provides the skylight tubes. They come in different versions and different diameters. It?s been very helpful. They were referred to us by Anderson?s Family Stores. Anderson?s used to provide the service, but they stopped, so they referred us to these folks.

Skylights Plus was a little hard to get in touch with but after they returned my call, all went smoothly. They came out a measured and gave me and estimate and told me the windows would be there in 2-3 weeks. They didn't require a deposit or any paperwork, so I was little worried that I would never hear from them again. I shouldn't have worried. A couple of weeks later when the weather was forecast to be perfect, he came and installed them on a Saturday. Super clean and quick. I shouldn't have worried. I am very satisfied with the new glass.

The entire process went by the book from the quote to scheduling and installation day. Really pleased with final product! I will definitely use Bob again when we build our new house.

Bob was great. He got back to me right away, was through and to the point about what needed to be fixed, came the day he said he would to do the replacement and was done quickly and efficiently. Very pleased.

It went GREAT! Bob came out and gave us an estimate within a few days of me contacting him. He was very good at communicating the status of the project. He was available for questions by phone and text which he always responded to promptly. He did excellent work and we LOVE the skylights! We had skylights put in another room a year ago by a different company and had to have the wall painted afterwards, but Bob even did the painting!!!! We would definitely hire him again!

Everything went well. Mr. Stack arrived on time. In addition to fixing our problem, he was very helpful talking about other issues we may have. Highly recommend!

For me...'Quality People, Quality materials, Quality work, Quality operation = Skylights Plus! Water stained interior skylight woodwork caused me to check Angie?s List for a repair company. Found Skylights Plus. Called Bob Stock at Skylights Plus Tue 12.08.15. He said he?d be out to our house Wed 12.09.15 at 12:30 PM to look at our skylights. Bob arrived as promised and after looking at the water stains and skylights said the skylights? glass needed to be replaced as it had failed and that the skylights? glazing had failed as well and that is what caused the water leak stains/damage. He said the skylights were not standard sized but had one skylight in stock and would order another right away and put a rush on the delivery. Cold Weather/Snow could also delay/hamper installation because glazing wouldn?t dry properly in the cold. Bob called the following week and said he had all the needed supplies but that we?d need a break in the weather for installation. He called again on Fri 12.18.15 and said that next Tue or Wed might be good weather days for installation and that he would keep the skylights on his truck to expedite. Bob called Tue 12.22.15 at 1:00 PM and said he was on the way for install. (a great break in the weather with a sunny day and warmer temperatures into the 60s) Bob arrived at 1:30 PM and installed the two skylights as promised. What I also appreciated was without my asking, Bob took a look at the roof for other damage and noticed two cracked roof vent gaskets that he repaired at no charge. He also said the chimney looked okay as well. The project is now complete and I couldn?t be happier! Hope this narrative aides in a decision for the reader.

Provider installed two sun tunnels in my kitchen; they are lovely. Unfortunately, they were installed poorly, not anchored to the roof or walls, and not taped using the tape included in the kit. The result is that they shifted inside the tunnel, reflected poorly, and filled with bugs. I had a different company inspect them and they were appalled at the installation workmanship. The other company mended the problems but I would and do not recommend Skylights Plus to others. Cutting corners makes for serious problems later on.

Their price was much more reasonable than two other estimates I received because he proposed a more common sense way to replace the skylights which wasn't as labor intensive as the other two quotes. He completed the work much more efficiently and the results were outstanding. Highly recommend them to anyone. Prompt, courteous, and responsive to all of my calls which is difficult to find these days. Thanks Bob!

Robert is very knowledgable about construction & design. He helped me choose a skylight with the correct size & orientation based on they type of roof construction in our family room. He is very conscientious regarding structural integrity as well as aesthetics. He came as scheduled, was very neat and we now have a beautiful skylight. I couldn't be happier & would highly recommend Skylights Plus.

Bob was wonderful. Worked with our contractor, stopped over a couple of times to make sure everything was set and ready to go. The skylights are beautiful, and add so much to the room. He was professional, and I am confident of the install.

My 20+ year old skylights had developed a leak during hard rains. I called Bob and he was finishing up a job near by and said he would stop by on his way home. He was there in less than an hour and diagnosed the problem before even getting on the roof. I was expecting to pay several hundred dollars to replace the skylights but Bob said they simply needed to be re-glazed. He didn't have time to do it that day but would return in the next 2 days to fix them. Sure enough 2 days later he was back and fixed the problem in less than an hour. I can't say enough good things about Bob. If you have any problems with your skylights don't hesitate to give him a call.

Bob was very professional and knew exactly what needed to be done. He was very punctual in arriving to provide an estimate and conduct the work. The only reason I rated his responsiveness as a "B" was that it took awhile to receive the invoice from when the verbal estimate was provided. I would recommend Skylights Plus to anyone looking to replace and/or install a skylight.

From the quote through the end of the job, Bob was extremely professional, courteous, and punctual. He knows more about skylights than anyone I've ever met (and I know a fair share of contractors/renovators). He delivered exactly what was promised in the quote. He communicated perfectly throughout the process as we both waited for the snow to stop flying so the work could be performed. During the job, Bob kept the work area clean and organized. I would definitely hire Skylights Plus again, and will be referring them to all of my friends.

After receiving an estimate, we made a 1/3 downpayment September 16. The owner did not get out to do the job until November 11, in part because of the rainy weather. He was scheduled a day earlier but had a job that took longer than he expected so he postponed our job one day. I felt it was professional to complete the other job first so that was not a problem. In fact, he ran into a problem with the way one of original skylights had been installed and couldn't finish in one day either so I was happy he finished the next day instead of going to another job and re-scheduling us. He was very knowledgeable and professional.

He came to my house on super cold morning to give us free estimate. I thought he would cancel appointment because weather but he didn't! We wanted a skylight or solar tubes installed but he recommended NOT to because of the shape of our ceiling and roof line. He could have made well over $2000 off us for what we requested to do instead he charge me nothing and gave us a honest opinion. I didn't know such honest business man still alive in US today!! This company is not all about money rather doing things right in the most honest manner. We appreciate the advise he gave to us. We want to give him the best customer service award of the year!!

He did a very good job. He had a very good suggestion about the old skylight being installed incorrectly. He wanted to order me a special made skylight that would fit over the frame. It has been great ever since. His pricing was good too.
