He came one day and gave us a price, the next day he completed the work and it took him four hours. He was quick, he guaranteed his work.

Bob Stock was at out house to assess our damaged skylights within a few days of my initial phone call. He was prompt and professional. He immediately knew what was causing the skylights to leak (after 2 other vendors weren't able to accurately pinpoint it). He was prompt in delivering a quote via fax. Once we placed our order there was a 3 week wait period for them to arrive, but Bob was installing them a day or two later. Bob removed the existing glass and replaced them with brand new glass. He even modified the faulty flashing when he saw how bad the prior installers had done it. This was all done on a very steep, pitched roof within a few hours. Bob let us know that when we replace our roof in the future we should give him a call, and he will come to our house to make sure that the roofers take care of the skylights properly. Talk about service! He was quick, professional, and in our opinion the most honest of the 3 individuals we spoke with. I only regret that we hadn't called him sooner. He knows his stuff - ALL HE DOES IS SKYLIGHTS. He was superior in his knowledge to the other two contractors we dealt with (who also had high marks on Angie's List). He was reasonable in price and did an excellent job. We would highly recommend him, and already have to many of our neighbors.

This skylight was repaired by Skylights Plus about two years ago. New high quality flashings were installed. A new leak in a different place appeared a few weeks ago. A small tear had appeared. It was quickly fixed for only $10.

I am a new home owner and had been putting off getting my leaky skylight repaired. Bob immediately put me at ease. He returned my call and came out to my house the same day. He assessed the skylight from both inside and out and determined that it would be a simple fix. Since he was already at my house, he decided to repair it right then. Bob resealed my skylight in less than 30 minutes, and took the time to explain to me what would need done with the skylight (to keep it leak free) when I get my roof replaced. He even resealed the bathroom exhaust fan vent since he was up there anyway.

From the first he came out he didn't do the installation in a timely manner; in took from June to October to complete the installation, he was paid in full the last day he worked and the first day it rained the windows leaked. 12 times now he has said he would come out but he is now unresponsive and has not returned calls; he did come out a few times but the windows still leaked so we called him back due to the five year warranty. We were very patient with him when he got sick and we haven't had any ridiculous requests; we just want our windows not to leak anymore. He has 7,000 dollars of our money and we have now sued him to get the work completed or our money back and he has decided to turn this into his insurance.

The price was competitive. The crew was great. They coordinated their work with the roofers. They were as responsive as the weather allowed and the availability of the materials they ordered. We'll see the quality of their work once it rains.

Excellent. Bob came out to look at job within 24 hours of calling. Estimate was reasonable. Made patterns quickly; however, weather prevented installation of new class for several weeks. All-in-all, a super job.

Bob returned my call shortly after I contacted his office. He was able to come over later that day to see what work was required for our skylights, which were leaking. We were also interested in blinds for the skylights. He inspected the skylights and told me what appeared to be the problem and we discussed different types of blinds available for our skylights. He mailed me a written estimate within several days of the appointment and we went ahead and scheduled the service.

Robert Stock of Skylights Plus did the roof installation of both skylights, the framing, dry wall, and of the finish painting on the light shafts. In a change to the original job description, he also provided a subcontractor to texture the ceiling to match the existing one. Unlike the roofing companies offering "skylight installation," Robert provides a complete start-to-finish solution.

To do one thing well, is a mark of a craftsman. Bob came to my house, quoted the job and agreed to install the new skylights in short order. Everything went as promised. He located the source of the leak around the flashing and fixed it as part of the installation. Bob was very straightforward to deal with and knew exactly what I wanted. He arrived at the appointed time and quickly got the job done. The skylight shades worked out better than I had hoped. The temperature in our family room is at least 10 degrees lower in the afternoon....a great A/C savings to boot! I thought his price was very fair, considering the cost of the replacement skylights and his time.

They were very easy to work with. The work was done in a timely manner. Good craftsmanship. We changed our minds about the method we wanted to use for the finish work, partway through the project and no problems. Very good to work with even on the changes.

We got an estimate right away. Extremely reasonable. Signed them up and they returned two days later. They look great. Skylights Plus cleaned and carted everything away. Much better than a $3000.00 per skylight quote I had received from another company.

It went well. I always appreciate it when the person giving the estimate is the one doing the work. My only complaint is that he doesn't provide much information on the product he installs, like efficiency rating, brand, etc. But I would definitely hire him again. He's trustworthy and honest. He did good work and there is a noticeable difference in the air exchange around the skylight, much better!

Bob was great to work with. He was very knowledgeable about his product and did an excellent job of installing the new skylight. He returned calls and showed up when he said he would. His estimate was $300 below another reputable company, whose name I also got off Angie's List.

Bob was very responsive, calling back the same day, coming out to the house the next day and completing the work within the week. I thought the leak we noticed around the interior of the skylight was actually from the unit, but after an inspection, Bob told us the leak was coming from deteriorated boot surrounding a roof vent pipe, and that we didn't need a new skylight. He offered to fix the boot and clean the gutters at a reasonable price. He also gave us information about a line of skylights made specifically to replace these old dome skylights. We decided to replace the skylight because of its age and appearance, and also contract for the roof repair and gutter work. He was very honest and absolutely no pressure.

They did an excellent job. He was very honest about what needed to be done.

Bob called the same day and diagnosed the problem. My skylight was designed to be used in a sloping roof with this, not by flat roof. He was not able to effect a permanent repair during his first visit and he carried out a temporary fix. This stood up to a couple of thunderstorms, one with hail. Two days later he returned to complete the permanent reflashing.

HE WAS HONEST, RELIABLE AND AFFORDABLE. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND ROBERT FOR SKYLIGHT REPLACEMENT & INSTALLATION OF ROOFING & ROOF REPAIR. I DON'T RECALL THE TOTAL PRICE, BUT IT INCLUDED REMOVAL OF THE OLD SKYLIGHT, COST OF NEW SKYLIGHT, INSTALLATION OF SKYLIGHT & ROOF ELEMENT REPLACEMENT PLUS ROOF REPAIRS & COST OF MATERIALS FOR ROOF. I THINK IT WAS $3500 FOR EVERYTHING.
