Tom Bell is a super nice person and builds a very nice house however he lacks in attention to detail. Also service after the sale is lacking. It took over a year to get our punch list completed. We have been in our home for two years and continue to find problems and oversights that he should have addressed while building the home. Granted some of the issues may have been caused by subcontractors however he should have caught and corrected the problems. The drywall work in the home is completely sub-par, have located outlets that are not secured properly, light switches that are not logical, the list continues to grow. As I said it is a very nice home however the problem is in the details and finish work. The home was extremely overpriced for the quality of workmanship. Had we been aware of all the issues when we bought the home we would have NEVER paid the price we did. Lesson learned.

Tom Bell gave us a fair estimate, started the project when he said he would, and had crew members on the job every day until it was finished even though he was in the process of building a new home across the street and has a small crew. I have had a lot of experience with home builders and remodelers over my lifetime and this is the very first time a contractor met his commitments to me such as being on the job when he said he would be, accepting responsibility for items things that did not go well or as planned, was not constantly telling us that any changes made either couldn't be done or would add additional expense or were contrary to our agreement, was reachable by phone, returned calls in a timely manner, checked on his workers frequently, had high standards and did not accept work below his expectations; any work not up to his standards were done over. He was always very courteous and respectful to us and to his workers. We can't say enough about Tom. We would use him again and we can recommend him without reservation.
