The project began on Saturday morning and they were done by Sunday evening. There were between 3 and 7 people at different points in the project. Since the previous roof had no ridge vent there was no place for the warm air to escape, so the shingles were "baked" and cracked. Therefore the removal process was very lengthy. There was one employee dedicated to strictly cleaning up the roof remnants that fell into bushes/flowers/etc. They also ran a magnet to find any loose metal pieces after it was finished. I only had one problem, some of the guys were smoking and since we have been so dry I was a little distressed to find a cigarette butt in one of the bushes- and had I not noticed it and it was still smoldering it likely would have burned up the bush. They re-installed the old gutter covers, had I known what bad shape they were in I would have asked that those be replaced also. In addition they re-adjusted one piece of soffit, so when we noticed Sunday night that had not been done we called and Monday morning someone was out there to fix that before noon.

There was one man who worked on the project each afternoon/evening for a week. There was a small weather related delay, but the project was completed by the date upon which we agreed. The quality of work was good and it was not intrusive into our daily activities. We paid a portion up front and then were asked to pay the balance they day before the project was completed.
