Jim came to my house at exactly the time he said he would. I called him at 2:00 on Saturday and he was there 1 hour later. He suggested replacing the 2 deadbolts that did not match the regular door locks in 2 of my doors so that we only need 1 key for the entire house. He went to get the new deadbolts himself, which was a relief to know that he would get the right materials. He worked quickly and had everything finished in a reasonable amount of time. His price was fantastic. I highly recommend his services.

Jim arrived on time, studied the problem, took the complete locking mechanism out of the door, took the inner mechanism apart, found a couple of small pieces out of place, cleaned and lubricated the sliding parts, and re-installed the unit. IT WORKS LIKE A NEW UNIT!

Lang's Locks is wonderful! Jim came over to our new house yesterday to rekey the locks only. I got to looking at all the door handles and they were in terrible shape. He went out on the spot and got me all new door handle and lock sets at a great price! He stayed several hours until the job was done. He worked very hard and made sure we were happy when he left. I also told him what color and style I liked and the ones he got are fantastic! I would recommend him to everyone I know that needs a Locksmith.

My appointment was scheduled at 4 p.m., and Jim called ahead and asked if he could come early. (an hour early). He removed the old doorknob, and put the new one on within twenty minutes. I was able to keep my dog outside without him going crazy - that's a first for the dog. When presented with the bill, I was surprised at how reasonable the cost was - the verbal quote was no more than $150.00. When I wrote the check out, I first asked if Jim wanted me to make the check payable to him rather than the company. I was rather surprised - pleasantly surprised that is - that he insisted that the check be made out to the name of the company so (as he explained) "to keep my accountant happy". As a graduate student of accounting and former construction office manager, I smiled. Why? This shows me that Jim is very honest. Many of the contractors I have dealt with the past asked for checks to be made out to "Cash" or them personally.

I phoned Jim Lang for an estimate, because of the excellent reviews on Angie's List. I explained the services needed, and he gave me an estimate right over the phone. He even explained that I could purchase my own deadbolt and he would install it, to save us a little money. We ended up just having him install his deadbolt. Also, he offered to come out on Saturday, with no extra charges. He showed up right on time, and quietly went to work. Everything took about an hour, I would say. And, the final price was exactly as he quoted. I would definitely hire him again, and would recommend to others.

Saying he was great doesn't even cover it. He was the nicest man and knew exactly what he was doing. I will call him again in the future.

Mr. Lang was prompt. efficient, and competent. He explained what he intended to do to solve our problem and then completed his work. He was very much a gentleman, and I would call on him again for lock repair or replacement services. The new locks he installed are fine. He also stands behind his work. I wish all service providers would be as professional as he is.

He gave me instructions on how to remove a stuck lock. I really appreciated that he was willing to help over the phone rather than charge me for a service call. I will definitley use him if I need a locksmith!

Called in the morning, the work was completed the same evening. He was delayed due to a previous job and he called several times to alert us of his status and inquired if we still wanted him to come out or reschedule for the morning. Very professional and responsive to our needs. Our locks were changed, new keys made in very short time... Would definitely recommend this company.

I called last minute on a holiday with a door that would not lock and he came right away. The problem was not the lock but rather the door needed several adjustments and the stike plates needed moved. He took care of the problem and was careful not to make a mess. He cleaned up after himself. He was fast, courteous, professional, kind did a great job. The lock and door are functioning like new. I would highly recommend him for any work.
