Lang's Locks

After my wife had her purse stolen last night (with keys), called Lang at 7:30 am. Mr. Lang arrived about 8:15, completed everything by 10:30, including a trip back to his shop to pick up a couple needed items. No mess, no fuss, efficiently went about his business. Cost seemed very reasonable for instant service and the scope of the project.

I called him and he came out that. day. He know exactly what the door lock was and the involvement in removing it. He installed a new handset bought at Home Depot. He was quick and professionally.

It was very easy to get the appointment set up, and I was able to get things arranged within 24 hours. Lang's came out on time and was very prompt, courteous and got the job done in record time. My only quibble was that his key copy machine was a bit out of whack and the copied keys stick a little bit in the locks so I had to go to Home Depot and get copies cut from his original set.

Price agreed on was just what we paid at the end. He was punctual , on time, and professional. He knew how to problem solve an issue we had. I will be using again.

He changed the locks and left spare keys. It was a hands-off operation for us, and he did what we asked.

Jim was very good and very willing to work with our schedule. He was there within 15 minutes of the scheduled time and gave good advice on what the best choice was for us, and also gave good sound advice on the strength of the current locking mechanisms. I gave him every opportunity to try to "upsell" me to more expensive locks, but he advised that what we had was very good and the investment to the next level would not be worth it. He gave very sound advice. He needed to order the part to better secure our French doors, and he didn't mess around trying to charge me with the re-keying after the first trip and then the security for the second trip. He waited until after the job was done. I'd use Jim and Lang's Locks again.

The lock on our storm door broke and we were unable to open the door. Jim Lang came just a couple of hours after I called and was able to get the door open. He removed the broken lock mechanism, suggested that I go online and get another one and then showed me how to install it. He was here only a short time and did not even charge us! If you need a locksmith, look no further than Lang's! He is very cordial and professional. You cannot go wrong.

He responded quickly to my message and gave me a quote for the work. I called an set a time, he arrived right on time. Work was done quickly and all our doors now use the same key. Will use his service again if the need arises.

I contacted Mr. Lang requesting his services for a home we recently moved into. He replied quickly and set up an appointment for the next day. He called ahead of time and showed up promptly as scheduled. He installed a new front door handle set and made extra copies of keys for us. He also solved an additional problem. We had a small portable safe that was locked with the keys stuck inside the safe. He quickly opened the lock to the safe. He also provided advice on better securing another entry to our house. His work was professional and he is prompt and very helpful. I am very happy with the service received and I would not hesitate to contact him again!

Service went well and fast. Technician removed the lock and replaced it in manner of minutes. The technician was very sociable and made recommendations. I was able to go on vacation and feel good that the broken lock had been replaced and my home secured. I recommend the provider.

We successfully rekeyed all of the locks in our new house ourselves, with one exception--We couldn't get the cyclinder out of our Baldwin Mortise lock to rekey it. We therefore called Jim, and he came over within an hour...on a Sunday! Jim was fantastic--friendly, kind, and despite several challenges (the cyclinder needed to be drilled out and new parts ordered from Baldwin), he was able to fix & rekey it. Considering the amount of effort and number of trips required, his price was quite reasonable. Jim was fantastic to work with, and I would recommend him to anyone!

It went great. He was done in about 30 - 45 minutes. It was a great deal and he did a fantastic job.

Jim arrived early. He was familiar with the area and had no problem finding my rental property. He spent about 25 to 30 minutes trying to unlock the double doored garage. He was unable to open the doors that day, but said he would get a new set of keys for each of the doors from Overhead Door Co and mail them to me. As it turned out, the keys for only one of the doors was available. He offered to come out to rekey the other door at another time. I declined as I didn't want to spend more money on this problem.

Prompt and courteous. Jim re-keyed three doors, and when he discovered that one door had a really old and bad doorknob, he replaced it at no additional cost.
