Took him 30 seconds to get the door open. The last locksmith we called worked for about 15-20 minutes to unlock it!

Jim did a great job, I called him Friday evening and he did locks Saturday morning. All locks re-keyed and match. Price was very fair and the work was excellent.

Keys all work perfectly. At no extra charge, Jim keyed the front and back doors to use the same master. Scheduled for later in the day but had a cancellation and came right over. Highly recommended. Jim was fast and efficient at a fair price.

I bought a cheap rekeying kit from a home improvement store and attempted to rekey one of the locks. I very quickly realized why locksmithing is considered a trade! I called Langs hoping he could bail me out and surprisingly he said he'd be over later that day to help. He arrived within 30 mins of the time he quoted me and took a look at my "handywork" on the kitchen counter and chuckled. Said he respected my gumption. He then promptly disassembled all 3 locks and rekeyed them, replacing them afterward. The keys we now have work much more smoothly than the originals. He mentioned he's planning on cutting down on housecalls and only keeping a shop open on the weekends, because he's been in the business so long, so if you need a locksmith, you better call him soon! He did great work and I'd recommend him to friends.

The two doors were successfully rekeyed, but after he finished the job, the deadbolt on my front door would only extend half as far as it did prior to the service. I emailed Jim the following day to fix it, but I never heard back.

He was so nice to come on a weekend - I was desperate to get the door open. He called before he came, got there when he said he would, was polite, professional and personable. He had the parts and tools that were needed and fixed it quickly. I'd recommend him to anyone who needs to have a lock fixed.

Awful... 1. Original appointment was made for Tues, 2/23/16. Locksmith called several times explaining that his job he was working on was taking longer than normal. After several times of delaying the appointment, we made the appointment for the following day. Note: the whole day was wasted sitting around waiting for a job that was going to take 1 hour.... 2. The locksmith finally arrived hours later than scheduled the following day. 3. He lacked professionalism. Examples: he was tapping his tools on my kitchen chair, talked about his personal life, took phone calls from his family and friend while on the job. None of the phone calls seemed to be of an emergency. 4. Originally when I called, I was told that they could give my a better deal than the $150 deal on Angie's List. The bill was just shy of $200. 5. The appointment took hours when originally we were promised an hour for the job. Another day wasted.

I called Lang's 2 weeks before our new house was to close, to schedule our appointment. He was to arrive at 3:00 on the day of closing. At 4:00 on the day of closing when we hadn't heard from him, I called his number and he seemed a little surprised, so I think he for got about our appointment. He said he was finishing a job and he was on his way over. Her called 20 minutes later and asked us our address. I am guessing he never wrote us down originally. When he arrived, he seemed very un-eager to complete the job and told us 1 lock would need a different key as it was a different maker. I was disappointed, as I trusted him to be honest. When my husband challenged him on that premise, he stuck with his story. As my husband continued to pursue this question, the locksmith agreed that it actually could be done. Hmmm... pretty unprofessional. I found one more door that I need to be rekeyed since this event, but I think I will call someone else.

Job went well, no problems. Professional, friendly on time service. Would recommend and use again.

The latch wouldn't work on the door coming from the garage into the house. It had happened once in the past and I was able to fix it. This time I only made it worse. I called after five on a Thursday evening. Jim came out an hour or so later (I'm in the Loveland/Miami Twp area) and had it working within thirty minutes. I'm very happy with the service and would use them again.

It went extremely well. The tech arrived on time. Made an overall assessment and made recommendations on possible solutions.

It was fine. There were no additional fees for the service. We had three doors worked on and they only cut two keys. We would have liked to have a couple more keys included in the service. It was a good deal.

Mr. Lang clearly has lots of experience. He got the job done with ease and no drama and has fair prices. I just found my permanent locksmith. After I complete my home renovation, I'll certainly have him back to complete all my other lock situations.

Exceptional service. Technician came same day I called. Fixed the lock in a matter of minutes. Was courteous, professional and responsive. We needed the lock fixed that day and Lang's came through!
