Terry and Michael are great installers. The owner of the business is very hard to deal with and will not take care of issues that arise. I have been trying for 11/2 years to have my kitchen floor fixed. The owner Todd said I bought discontinued floor and it was my fault that it is coming apart. The tongue and groove edges cracked causing my floor to come up due to an employee beating my floor in place. The employee no longer works there but Todd refuses to fix my floor. I have gaps in my living room and a bad spot in my bedroom. I contacted the flooring company and they told me that the floor was not properly installed. They offered to send replacement flooring, but I would have to pay shipping. I would also have to pay someone to tear up my kitchen and install the new floor. Todd put frog tape on my floor and said they would get caulk and other things to fix my floor. This was 5 months ago and I never heard a word from them. Todd does not believe in customer service and once he has your money he is finished no matter what issues arise.

This was Double Tilt's second time to this house to install windows. First time went well, when they installed 5 windows. I called them back to install 3 more windows.To save money I agreed to do all siding removal prior to them coming out and reinstall siding after they were done. Two individuals came out to do all three windows. It took them about 5-6 hours. Windows look great compared to what was in there before, which I believe was original to the house and 25+ years old. Good quality windows and quality installation. We have four more windows to replace in the house--we'll be looking to use Double Tilt again for these.

They did some more windows and some minor things for me like deck work. In order to put these new windows in and put new trim around, they had to replace the window sills so they did all that. They were just very good. They were prompt and their work is excellent. They do what they say they're going to do, show up when they say they're going to show up and I'm pleased with their products. I think they might be a little bit on the higher end but their qualityis very good. You could get cheaper price but the quality might not be as good.

These people are the best! Todd helped me pick out the perfect windows for our house. He discussed the pros and cons of various doors and went with a sliding glass door. Our house was built in 1979 and still had almost all of the the original windows and patio door. Never having bought windows or doors before Todd made sure to explain all of the choices. The patio door was a special order because it was not a standard size. The windows and door that we purchased have three panes of glass. We live near the interstate and it's rather noisy. Now I hardly notice! We just moved to Ohio from Florida and apparently this was one of the worst winters on record! Our old windows were extremely drafty and you could see daylight through the door. Needless to say we wanted something good! We got several estimates and went with Todd because of his Customer service quality of the windows and door and cost. His contractors are great! They arrived on time, assessed where all the windows were and asked if I wanted them done in any special order. I asked that they do my grandson's room first. . They covered the floors and started right in. Terry, Dean and Daniel are a great team! Professional, efficient, and friendly. It took then about 9 hours to install two very large windows, 5 smaller windows and the patio door. Even though my old windows were a hunk of junk they were in there good! They went over the operation and warranty information with me and made sure to answer any questions I had. Their finish work is beautiful! They did a great job cleaning up too. While talking to Terry I found out that they also door kitchen and bath remodel. I will definitely be getting a quote from them! I would definitely recommend them!

Double Titl came highly recommended from some friends of ours, so I felt comfortable only calling them to quote the windows we needed replaced. They prefer to have both spouses in the house for the sales pitch, but I was unable to make it due to work. They met with my wife and went over options for the windows we wanted replaced. We were looking to something very inexpensive, so we may not be in this house for very long. The salesman demonstrated how much heat/coolness was being let in through our existing windows, due to them having a very low (to non-existant) R rating. He then showed the difference with the windows they'd be installing if we choose them. Ideally we would have liked to replaced all the windows in the house, but we didn't want to make that large of an investment at this time. Pricing does not change depending on how many windows you have put in--so no volume discounting, which was fine, because I felt like we were getting a good price on the windows. We went ahead and placed the order. They came back out to the house to confirm the measurements and collect a 1/3 down deposit. The windows took around 6 weeks to come in, and due to being heavily booked they were able to make it out around the 8th or 9th week. This didn't upset me too much, if anything, to me its a good sign when a company has so much business that they make take a little bit longer to schedule you... this is usually an indication that they do quality work. Their crew was about 30 minutes late coming out the morning that we scheduled the install. This ended up being okay because I had agreed to take down the siding and blinds around the windows before they got there, and I was running a little behind myself. I'd also agreed to put back up the siding after they were finished, because I was going to need to re-cut the J-channeling around the windows. I'm always interested in learning more about DYI stuff and they were happy to entertain me and give me the step-by-step on what they were doing when I asked questions. For windows that are decent shape they do donate them to churches in a third world country (I don't remember the details exactly), but I appreciated that they took the time to take care of the windows they were taking out to help someone else. To remove and install 5 windows it ended up taking about 4-5 hours. We were very happy with the end result of their work. They gave us instructions on how long to wait to use the windows, and instructioned us to give them a call if we felt any air leaks after a couple of days. We did notice a small pin-hole leak on one window, but I've been to busy to call them to come check it out. They left a tube of caulk with me (mainly for the J-channeling) so I may just fix it myself. We would definately work with Double Tilt again.

This company drove over 4 hours to do this work for me. The workers were very neat, professional and efficient. I feel like they went above and beyond the call of duty to drive all this way and do such a great job. Their quote was also better than any quotes I got here locally.

They were very punctual and their work was excellent. Great craftsmanship.i will continue to use them as I replace my windows and for other home remodeling. Todd, Terry and Dean are great to work with and very accommodating.

Several years after installation, I was cleaning the windows. One of the windows came out of its track. I could not put it back in. I left a message with the store and told them what happened. The man guy called back later in the day and walked me through the easy steps to fix it. He was in Hawaii and took the time to help me. That is what I call service. He was very polite and didn't seem to mind helping me, even though it was early morning for him. Excellent!!

They did a terrific job. We absolutely love it. It's only been two weeks ago. We love the windows. I love the tilt windows because you can pull them inside and wash the outside from inside. Instead of going outside and doing your windows on the outside you can pull them in and actually do the outside from your inside because they tilt in. They were just fantastic. I've never seen guys work as hard as they did. They were all very polite. We, basically my daughter lives with us. So she will be here most of the time and she would offer them soda, coffee, water almost anything they wanted and treat them like family because they were such good people. They were right on time all the time.

I first talked with Todd Littlteton, owner, at the Home Show about replacing some problem windows. After he came out to measure I learned they also did general home improvement. I requested a quote and after gathering several moren quoptes, selected Double Tilt. Terry, the contractor, and his team were consumate professionals. They arrived when they said they would, were extremely neat and safety conscious and did everything I asked. They were originally contracted to do the windows, kitchen and bathroom. Their work was so good that I added on the second bathroom and the stairs. Terry's tile and woodworking skills are highly skilled. Todd Littleton, the owner has a great team and I would highly recommend them. They will be my first choice in any future home improvement projects.
