Because of the size and weight of the installation the company made TWO..... 200 mile round trips from Columbus to Fairlawn to insure that everthing was working PERFECTLY......the installers were GREAT.

Matt Reeder/Weather Armor visited our house on Oct 31, performed measurements, displayed material options, and overall did a very professional presentation. We made our purchasing decision overnight and placed our order the next day. The awning arrived 4 weeks later. The contractors delivered the awning and installed in one visit requiring about 4 hours, including one trip to Menard's for some extra hardware. After installation, fine tune adjustment of the awning was performed. Operation instructions were given.

One month in everything seems to be working well. It's rained a few times and everything is flowing nicely. The installation went well. Matt, the salesman/owner, was very nice. Everything seems to be delivering as promised.

Matt, the owner and salesperson was a delight to work with and he listened to our questions and concerns and he knew his product. The delivery date and the install was right on schedule and it was everything that was promised by Matt. The installers were not on time, they showed up a little earlier than said and went right to work. The installers introduced themselves in a very professional matter and gave me the confidence that they were the men for the job. Their knowledge of the product and professionalism of their work showed as they swiftly installed the awning. Their electrician showed up when they said they would and was very personable and knew their profession. Everything was installed with easy,the installers demonstrated what we bought and made sure they answered all of our questions before they all left. There were no surprises and we got exactly what we wanted....... Thank you

Overall experience was good. Matt Reeder came out immediately upon request of quote. Took about 7 weeks to get installed and had to make a couple of follow up calls on installation. Overall though would use this company again.

We called to have a gutter repaired, and it turns out the owner of the company lived in our neighborhood. He came out personally early the next morning, as promised, to inspect our damage and then had one of his best guys repair the damage that afternoon. Both the owner and the gentleman who did the repair were top notch individuals who gave us a lot of helpful information on how to prevent gutter problems in the future. Best of all, despite the two+ hours it took to complete the job, we were informed that there would be no charge for the service. We would definitely use Weather Armor again in the future.

Work was performed as scheduled. The installer was friendly and professional. System appears to be performing as expected..

The first workman showed up late and without necessary materials to complete job. He was rude, agumenative and anything but professional. He was told to leave and not do the job. Mat contacted me shortly there after and asked for another chance to do the job. I said that would be OK. The second crew was early the next day. They did the job and actually did more than what was specified. They were very professional and their work was above reproach. My comment here would be, the problem was in the worker NOT the company so I recommend them as the second crew was GRAT!

Arrived, instead of walking through the house they put up a ladder and climbed up to the deck to install the awning and gutter toppers. Amazing. Everything was s*** and span when thy finished and they carted away all the trash. I did not realize that they were not going to attach the electricity. We need to call in an electrician to complete the job so that the remote control works.

Contracted with Matt Reeder, owner of Weather Armor on 5/10/10, to remove Leaf Guard system and replace with 6"gutters and top with Gutter Glove. This job did not require new downspouts. The 2 man crew arrived on 6/25/10 (Andre and Mike-college students) at 9:30. They worked until 5:30 or so on the installation. They were polite and hard working. The installation went well. They addressed all my concerns. Clean up was not perfect as I swept up screws, brackets, plastic bags, etc. So far the gutters are working well, although we have not had a hard rain. The Leaf Guard System that I replaced required 2 or 3 time a year clean up and adjustments. Despite that, an area by my front door rotted and in another area, mulch washed away from the overflow from the gutters. I am glad to be rid of Leaf Guard and so far am happy with Gutter Glove.

Matt responded very quickly when I initially called (i left a message and he called me back) and we organized a date and time for him to come give us an estimate (which was not easy as he is based in the Columbus area - but he worked with us to get a date that worked). He explained the product to us (very similar to Leaf Filter - but the substrate upon which the filter sites for gutter glove is a solid aluminum core rather than a plastic one and seemed a lot stronger). The price Matt came up with was actually the least of all the estimates that we recieved (Gutter Glove lowest, Leaf Filter next and highest was Gutter Helmet). However - for 3 man days labor and the product itself (just less than 200 linear feet - but lots of corners) I still think that it is an expensive item (though I wanted to get it done to prevent clogging) - hence the "C" on Price (I rated it "paid too much" - I would have been very happy with somewhere between $2000 and $2500). In the end I was most comfortable with Matt - he was very knowledgable and helpful and there was no pressure, was very professional - and out of all the products I saw - I liked this one the best. So we decided to move forward with Gutter Glove. It was installed on May 6th - three man crew who finished the job in probably 5 or 6 hours or so. I had a couple of minor gripes as follows (hence the "B" on quality - as these are minor): 1. During the cleaning of the existing gutters - some of the debris was blown onto the deck and was not collected/bagged immediately -so we had a few pieces of "nasty stuff" end up on the deck and in the beds - not a huge deal and was soon cleaned up - so good that they did follow thru and get it done. 2. They are supposed to seal the gutters - but I did not see any sealant - I am assuming that they did this as it is needed to made the gutters "watertight" - and I was not watching for most of the time - so I am assuming that this was completed appropriately. 3. In some areas where we have a longer straight run of gutter - it appears as though there are more "joins" between pieces of the Gutter Glove product than should be (each piece comes as a 5 foot length I think). This means that there are potentially more join covers than need be - however I do not think that it should impact the capability of the product. I have spoken with Matt during and once after the install - and he has always answered my calls and is very curteous and professional - I would definitely recommend the company because of that. In terms of whether the product works as advertized - this remains to be seen as I have not been at home when we have had a some heavy rain (I did witness some light rain - and it seemed to be working - could hear the water running down the downspouts as expected and nothing coming over the top - will continue to monitor and update to document how it handles the different weather.

Our house is nine years old and the gutters on the front of the house were starting to sag and we were getting damp spots on our basement wall where the water was not draining properly in heavy rain storms. In addition I am disabled and my wife has a bad back so we are not able to get up on a ladder to take care of and clean our own gutters. We contacted Matt in March 2009 at the home show at the Ohio State fairgrounds. We were there looking at various gutter protection products and decided that Gutter Glove by far looked like the most sturdy and well-made product available. Also my wife did a ton of online research and found that nationally Gutter Glove gets much better reviews than Master Shield, Leaf Guard, and other similar products. Matt came out the same week and gave us a very reasonable estimate for 90' of gutters on our two story house. Within another week the work was complete and since then we have had several fairly heavy rain storms and have not had a single damp spot in the basement since. Matt was very professional throughout the whole process. He didn't pressure us at all to sign a contract and his samples of his as well as his competitor's products pretty much confirmed the research we had done beforehand. To sum it up, we couldn't be more pleased with the results. We now have the peace of mind that our gutters won't clog and water won't be running down our foundation. We will recommend Matt's company to anyone we know who needs gutter or roof repairs and would definitely recommend Gutter Glove to anyone who needs to install gutter worry-free protection on their home.

Matt was very professional and explained in great detail about his gutter guard. He showed me a sample of his product and also had samples of other products and explained why his was more efficient. The only problem was that after they left I noticed that an end piece of the gutter guard was not secure to the gutter. I called Matt and left a message on his voice mail. He did not return the call. I had to leave two more messages. It was over a week til Matt returned my call. He then sent someone out to secure the gutter guard. He came without calling to set an appointment. He also was very rude and arrogant when answering my questions. He did take care of the problem. After this man left, I immediately called Matt and reported this mans behavior. I received his voice mail. Matt has never responded.

Very personable, knew his superior product (the leaf shield) and the rest of the work was secondary. Some higher pressure tactics were used when I explained I was getting estimates from various suppliers. Gave me a special discount to sign contract right there and I did. Several days later, I canceled the contract when I spoke to a more knowledgeable gutter & downspout specialist, who supplied leaf guard as a secondary product. Better job at a cheaper price.

One section of the leaf guard is stopping up. It's not letting the leafs and debris fall off. They have to come out 3 times during the installation process. They didn't complete the job the first time they were out. The first guy couldn't do the job properly so the owner himself had to come out to do it. We are still trying to get them to come out and repair the section that stops up. I would not recommend them.

The owner came to my house to provide an estimate. We talked and I did advise him of the other people I had talked to and what they had said and quoted. He indicated that from what he saw and what I had told him about my gutters that repair seemed to be what I needed - but that the workman would confirm that after he was up on the ladder and could actually inspect what I had and what I needed. He quoted a repair cost and a replacement cost. The repairman employee was prompt, courteous, helpful and efficient. Cleaned up before he left. It was a great experience and I was very pleased.

Matt gave a professional presentation showing the advantages of his product. The Gutter Glove product is very similar to Master Shield's product, except it was less expensive and appeared to be a little more sturdy. My husband didn't have to be present at the sales pitch. Since this company was not on Angie's List, I asked for and called the references provided. They were positive about the company as well. Installation took one day. Some adjustments were needed after installation. All issues about drainage were addressed quickly.

I was way overcharged. For less than 1 hour, I paid $100.00. They left the hose out running and left some dirt on the porch.
