I wanted to replace my kitchen cabinets but didn't want to pay the amount I was quoted at the home stores. All the discount places get their cabinets from China which I also didn't want. I found Polaris Cabinets online and went in when I was about to give up on finding anything at a reasonable price. Not only were the prices reasonable but Jason was very helpful in picking out cabinets that would make my small kitchen much more functional. His knowledge has been invaluable to me during this renovation. He directed me to a great granite fabricator and to Floor and Decor where I got my backsplash tile. His main installer James has also been very professional and courteous in all the installation process. I would recommend them to anyone who wants to redo their kitchen especially if you are on a budget.

Exceptional! They are new to the kitchen design scene and I nearly overlooked them for lack of reviews. It was amazing as Jason Kuhn took the time to understand our vision and create the kitchen on their visualization software immediately. I experienced a person who was excited about my project as if it were his own. He was not selling me anything, he was helping me create the kitchen I have imagined for 8 years. I am a comparison shopper. It is important to me to find a quality product for a fair price – I want the great finishes and quality without breaking my budget, nor compromising on my vision for the outcome. This is where Polaris Cabinet and Design as a retailer AND service company FAR EXCEEDED any competitors online or local. My kitchen is small and my account was only worth 5000.00 (with install) to Jason’s business. However, he treated me and my project like it was worth 20,000. I have met smarmy contractors and insincere sales people. Jason’s authenticity, genuine passion regarding the design of my kitchen, and the quality of his product finally convinced me to invite him to my home to measure and offer a more accurate quote than the one I had from our conversations and my personal measurements. He remained true to form and arrived on time with his usual patient and helpful temperament. Not only that, but his interest was not limited to the cabinets, he was curious and helpful regarding my overall vision for the kitchen and the rest of the space – I live in an open concept home and changing one thing affects everything else. As a businessman, he earned my respect and admiration. He helped me so much and provided service for so many details – that my cabinets are more custom than ordinary off the shelf cabinets usually are. I have included pictures of how he customized the molding with leftover materials around the refrigerator and dishwasher cabinets, the modified bump out microwave cabinet he designed from a refrigerator cabinet, and how he fit 42” cabinets under my 8’ ceiling without compromising on clean sleek lines where they meet, nor my counter space. These details and creativity with the product during installation created a high end customized look at the cost of mass produced cabinetry. Jason visited my home twice before I even purchased offering flooring and paint suggestions. The first day of installation, I emailed him a question regarding the gray paint he thought would look good, and he went to pick up a paint chip and brought it to the installation. James, his installer (also his personal installer for over 15 years), saw to details that a carpenter would admire. James was equally attentive and patient with my questions and input on what I was hoping to achieve. I have met more than one retailer and installer who became frustrated or irritated with the details that are important to me, but these details and this information was equally important to both of them. They wanted my vision to be perfect too! You cannot fail with Jason, James, and Polaris Cabinet and Designs. The service they offer is not intended to sell, but to help, create, and make people happy! I can only hope I am as fortunate when it is time to choose materials and services for my shower installation.
