We explained the boundaries of the electric dog fence and he accommodated the situation. We were very happy with their service. Description of Work: These guys are great! This is the first year I have used them and they have been very professional and responsive from day one! They mowed my lawn all summer on a weekly basis and also serviced my irrigation system in the spring and fall. When I had questions, I would call or e-mail and usually had a response and answer in the same day. I also think that their pricing is very good! Kudos for a job well done! Will use again next year!

+ 3 moreTheir service is spectacular and the prices are very fair. They do what they say they will do, and when they say they will do it. They use good judgement when doing work - for example not mowing the grass when it is too soggy. They are very clean, prompt, professional and easy to communicate with. They's honest about what they can and can't do, and will recommend other professionals for things that are outside their expertise. They are a great partner to have.
Description of Work: We've used Greenlawn this past year for lawn mowing, irrigation system maintenance, spring cleanup, mid-season prunning, planting trees, etc.

+ -1 moreHad let the yard go this year - no fertilization, weed control, etc. Called Greenlawn and received quick response and estimate on when they could come out and look at it. They came when they said they would, and provided a detailed recommendation. There was absolutely NO pressure to do anything more than what needed to be done to get yard headed in right direction. I decided to do an aeration, fertilizer treatment and then a special weed treatment ahead of their normal Fall treatments. Again, no pressure to do anything - just solid recommendations. Pricing is extremely competitive (better than most). Service was provided promptly as promised and yard looks 100% better than it did. VERY impressed with the service and professionalism and would recommend to anyone! Very personal service!

+ 0 moreI hired Greenlawn Specialists based on reviews at Angie's List and I wasn't disappointed. Philip has a small crew, he works with his brothers, he is very personable, professional, and the work was done to my satisfaction. I was raised to do all my own yard work and worked with my parents in the yard all my life. Therefore I have very specific ways I want things done, but with a more-than-full-time job, not enough time to do it all myself. The edger saved me hours and hours of hand work. Now I am ready to mulch. The price was very reasonable, in my opinion. Only $170 for all that edging, and very cheap prices to remove the bushes and do the trimming of bushes about 8 feet tall. I would definitely hire them again if I had other yard work to be done.
Description of Work: I hired Greenlawn Specialists first to come do an estimate on mulching and mowing. Philip was very conscientious in communications and we met after work to walk around the yard. Since my husband's tour was cancelled in the interim, I didn't need them to mulch or mow, but based on our talk, I hired the company to use their edger on all my flowerbeds, remove three bushes, and trim some large, unruly bushes. Philip listened carefully to what I wanted. He was careful about the irrigation system (the edger machine cuts down about 3.5 inches or so and we didn't want to have any problems. I found out what happens when the irrigation lines are broken when a tree cutting contractor's crane crushed one accidentally, and I wanted to avoid any repeat of that experience. : ) ) I marked all the irrigation heads with flags. I am a little obsessive about my lawn, so I spray painted the line I wanted them to edge around the beds. I liked the fact that he corresponded with me via e-mail to confirm what I wanted and give me price quotes. I was out of town when they came to do the work, and when I returned, I was happy to see that the work was done just as we had agreed upon. There was no trace of the bushes, not a stray leaf or branch. All the other bushes had been trimmed. The edging had been done. It looked great.

There?s never been a time when I've had any problems or complaints. They have an excellent follow up service and call me afterwards to find out how the work was preformed. If there?s anything that needs to be adressed, they come right out to take care of it.
