Matt was professional and friendly. He fixed the toilet and explained what was needed for the second job at my house. An estimate for the second job was sent within 20 minutes. I will definitely hire Discount Drains in the future.

They were very professional. They came out and tried to snake my kitchen sink. They weren't able to do so and said they needed to install new drain pipe. They quoted me with one days work and ~1k. They were a second opinion because Benjamin Franklin tried to charge me 3k! They were beyond friendly and helpful and listened to my concerns. The drain pipe was installed within a day!! I will call this company for all of my drain issues from now on!!

Gage was the plumber who came out and was very friendly. He gave a total cost before he did the work. They have been great and we would hire them again. We would recommend them as well.

He fixed the leak but we had several issues with the quality of the job. He had to cut into the wall behind the shower, which we knew would have to happen before we even called. He left the bathroom floor a huge mess. He could’ve easily put a drop cloth down. It took over 30 minutes to clean up after him. The tub fixture he replaced is crooked and loose. It doesn’t sit tight against the shower wall and there’s not enough caulk in the gap. He was a very young plumber and I get that maybe it was a little more complicated than he anticipated. For almost $700, we expected better quality work. I wouldn’t hire again or recommend this company to anyone.

A++. Courteous, professional, great work and at a more than fair price. The job ended up taking somewhat longer but the upfront quote didn't change. Our technician, Mat, exceeded my expectations. I will definitely call Discount Drains again when I need work done.

It was great. He was early! - with warning. Friendly and professional. He reset the garbage disposal with an allen wrench - he even gave me one! He said it was a lower level model and said I should think about replacing but with no pressure. He gave me an estimate if I decided to replace in the future.

We had out sewer line back up and our home warranty company sent them out to figure out what was going on. They charged $300 or so (similar to other places) to "unclog" the line but said we had major issues, that our line was collapsed and we needed $4000-$8000 repair, depending on where the break was. They said the camera could not reach the city connection because of the collapse. I was never given the video. I had another company come out for a second opinion and they said that Discount Drains just didn't clear all the roots out. They cleared the roots out, then sent a camera down the line and i happily watched the camera enter the city line - no collapse. They then gave me a jump drive with the video to prove that we have a connection. Needless to say, I was very relieved that I did not go with Discount Drains and let them tear up my yard/alley. Felt like they were trying to get $$ from our insurance company but who knows.

Arrived on time and was given 1/2 hour notice prior to plumber showing up. Evaluated work that needed to be done and gave me options to help reduce cost. They use flat rate pricing, so there is no surprise costs at the end. Final quote was about 40% less than other quotes we received, so I had him begin work right away since he was available. Installed all new plumbing fixtures under kitchen sink including shut off valves and drain pipes.

Discount Drains did a great job. I hired them to fix gas piping issues to my backup Generator for my house. They came to evaluate my project the same day I called, and repaired it the next day. They fixed problems that my previous plumber had caused and had refused to admit were problems. The Generator had not been working, Generator company said it was gas piping issues, old plumber who did original hookup and subsequent maintenance refused to accept that – but Discount Drains immediately identified several problems with existing gas plumbing, re-piped the gas feed, and surprise – the Generator fired right up and ran for the first time in months. Great work.

So water was backing up from the sump pump to the curb due to a blockage. I asked a technician to come out and evaluate the blockage, and he offered to snake it for $200. I thought that was a bit much but decided to let him do it. Then he said it did not work. I asked what was next. He said for another $100 they could put a camera down to look at the drain to see what the problem was. I then asked what they would do after that. He said they would dig it up and fix it. I asked how much that would be and he said around $1500. I said no thanks. I ended up digging it up and repairing it myself for less than what it took them to unsuccessfully snake the drain. Not a happy customer.

I sent a request for estimation on Sunday afternoon, they called within half an hour and scheduled time for Monday morning to visit our location and give us an estimate. Their technician gave us all our options, including re-plumbing the entire bathroom or just fix the two small CPVC-Copper connection leaks. We ended up going with the full re-plumbing option in PEX so we would have a sense of security as this bathroom has been an issue for us since we bought our house. They were reasonably priced and obviously took the time to do a good job. We really appreciate them helping us out on such short notice without price-gouging us!

The contractors lied about coverage and directed me to purchase products from them that would not have been covered. I did my research and found out about the lie prior to being charged however, my home warranty was billed hundreds of dollars for them dishonesty. When confronted they lied again. Awful company!

It went very well. He called to ask if he could come early which was awesome since it was Saturday. Unfortunately he could not rebuild the tub faucet/spout until Monday due to warehouse being closed. He arrived on time on Monday & took the time to explain everything & gave me tips on how to avoid further problems with the drain & faucet.

Fine -- the plumber was efficient and the drain flows very well now.

It has been raining non stop and our sump pump died. I went to home depot and bought a sump pump and thought I could replace it. I couldn't. I called Discount Drains and talked to Jennifer. She was so kind on the phone. She said they could get me in tomorrow. I explained that I worked tomorrow and that I was super nervous because of all the rain we have been getting. She was able to find something and was able to get me in same day. James was our plumber. He was absolutely respectful and very resourceful. The old sump pump had to be from the 90s. When he took the pipe out of the old sump pump it did not fit into the new one. But James was able to keep the existing pipe and just replace the end to fit the new sump pump. Saved us money. He tested it out and made sure the sump pump was working before heading out. I am forever grateful because I was inches from a flooded basement. Thank you Discount Drains and to James for installing the sump pump and to Jennifer for making it happen.

The quote was reasonable, and Sean was very knowledgeable about the situation. He was able to come out two days later (due to my schedule, not his) and get the job completed in just over an hour. Very professional, communicative, and prompt. I am extremely relieved the situation is resolved, and so quickly. I will do any drying and cleanup myself, which looks to be minimal. Thank goodness there isn't any mold.

The gentleman was very knowledgeable and I would definitely hire them again. Prompt and courteous.
