Carifa Tile was professional, friendly, and terrific with communication from the initial contact through the end of the project. Each specialist that came to our house for the project was top-notch and performed excellent work. In addition, the tile store we chose had high praise for Carifa Tile and their work.

They did an excellent job. I'm very pleased with the bathroom floor and surround tiles. The pattern is matched in the corners and top and bottom and flows just as I requested on the floor and into the shower surround. They patched and painted the walls after the plumbers left and that, too, was done really well. They kept the work area and the path to and from the door clean and debris-free. My questions and concerns were answered promptly. I would definitely hire them again.

Carifa Tile is one of the best service providers we have worked with for a home-improvement project. It started with Joe Carifa's spending a substantial amount of time with us trying to diagnose the cause of the leak in our master shower and then giving us thoughtful suggestions about who we could either fix the leak or ideas for a new shower. We ultimately had Carifa tear out the existing tile shower, tiled wall, and bathroom floor. Carifa installed a new porcelain-tile shower and porcelain-tile floor. Angelo, the installer, is a true craftsman. We are so pleased with the outcome. I also appreciate the work, and patience with all of my questions, of Joe, Ciera, and Angelo and his team. I am not easy to please, but they remained steadfast in their commitment to pleasing me and doing the job the right way. We definitely will use Carifa for our next bathroom project.

They did an AMAZING job and exceeded our expectations. Angelo took great care of our hope , protected the floors and was extremely considerate of our time and our home . We were skeptical as this was 4’x8’ porcelain lie that came from Italy and went on our wall . I would definitely recommend them and will use them again in the future. The follow thru and communication by Ciera was also perfect , whic is rare in these days

Carifa Tile was outstanding from the beginning process to the end. After visits from 4 bathroom remodelers, Carifa Tile was clearly the winner. They were the ONLY one that provided a detailed proposal 4 pages long. Their pricing was very competitive as well, clearly beating 2 of the other companies who almost doubled their price. Joe, the president, pointed me where to go to get the tile (The Tile Store) and fixtures (Bath Works) and stone (Lang Stone) we needed and we were able to get a substantial discount at those stores by mentioning Carifa Tile sent us. It saved us a couple thousand dollars. The actual demolition and construction went very smooth. It took about 3 weeks to get their work done. (Stand alone tub; curbless shower) The tile work by Angelo (Carifa Tile) was superb. He is an artist and a technician. Their plumber, Greg, was very skilled as well. Joe was personally involved throughout the project to ensure a perfect ending. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone needing a project having to do with tile.

They did a fabulous job on our bathroom floor, shower and walls! Everything was clearly spelled out to us from the beginning and they did meticulous work. Very professional company. We couldn’t be more pleased!

I can't say enough about how great this experience was with Carifa Tile. I wanted a specific installation with a plain tile and a decorative tile. Joe, president of the company, personally came out and helped me lay out the tile the way I thought wanted it done so we could see what it would look like. His help and opinion was invaluable. The installers, Leo and Tito were awesome and efficient. They cleaned up everything every night when they finished up. The results are perfect.

The guys did an outstanding job and we had a great experience with CarifaTile. I appreciated that Joe reviewed the quotes with me and set expectations prior to the install. The crews showed up as scheduled and always left the areas clean upon leaving the house. We will definitely use CarifaTile again for our future projects.

If there were 100 stars, we would give them 100 from scheduling the initial visit and quote to the final work day and bill. This company went over and above on customer service. We had a rather unusual request, my husband and I wanted to do some of the work ourselves to help bring down the cost of the project since it was an extremely large job. Carifa came in at the best price and were the most willing to truly be our partner. We worked with Joe, who oversaw our project. He provided tips on the parts we wanted to do since we were novices and was ALWAYS open to phone calls and brainstorming sessions which sometimes led to changes in the plan. The crew we had was led by Juan and he was AMAZING. Every day before they left, they cleaned up spotlessly. Their focus when they were working was quality and we never got the feeling they were trying to hurry so they could get to their next project. I don't tend to give too many reviews, but this company and the entire staff we worked with are so outstanding, I want to let as many people know as possible. My husband and I would HIGHLY recommend them for any tiling job!

There were understandable delays because everyone is so busy right now. But, Joe or Jack always returned calls or texts promptly. They were always friendly and helpful. If we had questions or problems, they were always happy to discuss our concerns. They wanted us to be satisfied with their work and our relationship. If you want to really know what kind of people you are dealing with, see what they do AFTER you have made your final payment. We had made the final payment before some painting had been completed and the toilet had been installed. Plus, we weren't happy we had not been consulted about the placement of the vanity. We had zero problems talking with Joe about these last things. Even though we had already made our final payment for the job, Joe had the vanity moved, the painting completed and the toilet installed. And, because they had left the painting (about 30 minutes of work) off the original bid, they didn't charge us. This is the second project we have done with Carifa and both were handled in the same thorough, professional and friendly manner. I will use them again whenever we have any remodeling needs.

Carifa was FANTASTIC! From the time They quoted the project through completion they were responsive, timely, always within budget, and very professional. Every worker involved in the renovation was diligent about floor coverings and keeping their path in and out of the house mess free. They stuck to the timeline and completed the project as promised. They were attentive to every detail and completed a beautiful remodel! I highly recommend them and would hire again for any project!

Carifa did a great job, really outstanding work. In addition to the actual tile work, their operations manager came out to do a detailed scope of the job before, and their president stopped by after the job to make sure I was happy. Usually companies with so many layers charge much more, but their bid was very competitive, included a 5 year warranty, and prep with the Schluter Ditra system. The actual installation went great. Jack and Nick went out of their way to make sure every detail was right and the install went perfect. Final product is beautiful. Bad weather postponed a few days of work, but they finished the project at the next available time, instead of rescheduling weeks down the road. I also asked them to wait another day before moving in the heavy vanity (to ensure thinset was fully cured/dried), and they came back the next day before their next job to move it in place and place the final tiles, no questions asked. Really fantastic job and above and beyond service. Great to work with them, cannot recommend highly enough. No need to look for more options, you will not be disappointed.

I was impressed with everyone at Carifa Tile. They were there when they were scheduled. They gave me a detailed estimate so we were very clear on all of the work that needed to be done. The person who did the work was very skilled and paid attention to details. Carifa Tile started and finished the project in the time that was scheduled. When the project was finished the project manager came over and made sure I was happy with the results. Communication was great throughout the project. I will use Carifa Tile again for other home improvement projects.

Carifa Tile did an excellent job. The tile choices were restricted because we redid half the bathroom, leaving the granite counter and the bathtub in place, and the new tile needed to coordinate with the existing tile and trim. Joe suggested three places for me to find tile, and steered me to composition and color choices that would match and be practical, in stock, and easy to clean. Carifa picked up the tile I purchased, and delivered it to the house. The work was accomplished on schedule. Half the bathroom was demolished and the old shower, shower glass, and floor carried to a dumpster they placed in the drive. The new floor and shower tiles and trim look beautiful. The work was done in a 1930 Clintonville home, where no walls are true, and no floor is level, which makes the final results even more impressive. When the tiling was done Joe had a painter come by to touch up the walls and molding, and a plumber come by to reinstall the original plumbing. Both these jobs went well. The installers cracked the oak threshold, and Joe replaced it with a new threshold which he stained and sealed to match the original.

Carifa Tile did an amazing job on my kitchen job. Joe was extremely communicative and helpful every step of the process. His team did incredible work putting in a glass tile backsplash along with LED lights under the cabinets. We have a small kitchen in our condo, but the tile and lighting really makes it look spacious and luxurious. Would absolutely work with them again in the future.

We were having 2”x 2” tile installed . There was a small installation error and the new additional replacement tile was from a different lot and the colors didn’t match. Joe assured us that he would rectify everything , which he did without hesitation. We decided to go with the 18” x 36” tile which was a better color match and do an envelope design on the floor. It turned out better than we could have imagined. We are extremely happy with the craftsmanship and professionalism of all the workers and would definitely recommend Carifa Tile.
