He did what he was supposed to and did a good job.

They did a fantastic job. My house was built in 2005 and the code has changed since then. Last summer when we had the storm, it pulled off the siding which we realized right away. But what we didn't realize was that we had some storm damage from it too. We saw a couple of shields missing last Spring. They charged $11000 but it was all paid by the insurance. There was nothing out of the pocket for me. I paid them an extra $1000 for putting in the skylights. That was very cheap for three skylights. I would give them an "A+." They have an excellent price for the skylights. They were right there. I spoke to him several times. He was excellent to talk to. He spent more time than I thought he should have talking to me. It was great. It was not like he talked long but I had a lot of questions and he was very patient.

We called Benchmark after perusing Angie's for listings and reviews of local roofers. We had been getting water dripping into our laundry space during the heavy rains in October. We were informed that Steve Brown would be our project manager and would arrive on a certain day and time to do an initial inspection. He called for a heads-up and arrived on the day, on time. We were dreading that an extensive (expensive!) repair might be needed. After a short time on the roof, Steve gave us a lot of relief by letting us know that, due to age, the rubber flange around our vent pipe had gotten old, cracked, and was letting in rainwater. Also, a cap that is supposed to be on that pipe had blown off from wind, making the condition worse. So, the fix was simple. We set a date, Steve again gave a heads-up call, arrived promptly, and performed the repair efficiently. (Almost forgot to mention; during the initial job inspection, he took a big push broom up on the roof with him and broomed off a lot of branches that had accumulated from adjacent trees shedding due to high winds.) All this for the stated flat fee of $250. And, the repair proved itself out only a short time later when heavy rains again came, and no more water leaked in since. At all times we felt we were dealt with openly, honestly, and in a completely professional manner. Because of this, we unhesitatingly recommend the services of Benchmark Roofing.

Everything went fine. They are very professional.

Roof maintenance & sealing. Checked roof and fixed loose shingles, nails, etc. Fixed facia board where it was causing water to miss gutter.

The price was competitive with other providers; although not the cheaper of the three. I selected Benchmark because of its track record with Angie's list and one prior experience with them replacing a garage roof some years ago. Completion of the work took over two weeks. One worker did most of the work by himself. I called the production manager (Andy) twice because I was concerned about some siding drainage issues, a few small holes along the drip edge in the new roof surface,and a peace of old fascia that remained in place after the rest of the fascia and the gutters had been installed. Also, nails and small debris from the siding replacement remained on the roof. Andy responded right away both times; he was easy to work with and worked to do make things right. After two visits the work was well done and completed to my satisfaction. I did have to pick up some nails and sweep some debris from the roof; clean up was not thorough.

The technician just climbed onto my roof and then climbed down and told me that the roof is fine and can last another 6 years or so. If no maintenance needs to be done, at lease remove the tree branches from the roof. Sadly, I still see the tree branches lying on the roof from my second floor bathroom.

Terry, the sales rep, was very responsive and professional as was Andy, the on-site supervisor during the one-day job. The only flaw in a nearly perfect job was one gutter, which sustained a dent. They pointed it out to me and replaced it at no charge a week later. It was all in all a very pleasant experience and I would certainly recommend Benchmark to others.

Benchmark came out on time and inspected my duplex roof in German Village and gave me a verbal report on the condition.

The service was performed well. They were many reschedules but at the end, got the work done right

The person who came, Steve, was very polite and punctual for his appointment. He did his work very quickly and pointed out several other things that would get the roof in good shape, including cleaning debris from the rood, cutting tree limbs away from the roof, repairing mortar around the chimney, fixing some individual tiles and (at my request) putting flu caps on the chimney vents to prevent raccoons from getting down the chimney. He sent an estimate the next day for all this work and it was reasonable and I am going ahead with the repairs. I very much liked the fact that he did not suggest extensive or unneeded work as some roofers do. My only minor complaints were (1) the price seemed a little high for what was done and (2) it took so long to set up the first appointment, but perhaps the latter was due to our screening our phone calls with our answering machine.

The provider was very resposive. He arrived as scheduled and inspected the roof. He covered any nail holes and sealed them. He took pictures of what he saw and reviewed them with my husband. He provided an estimate, without any high pressure sales for additional work. We were happy with his work.

We had purchased a big deal, and they were excellent right across the board. The man who came out from the company knew what he was doing. He went up there, fixed the problem, and was just excellent. It was absolutely excellent service. I built the house that I am in now, and I have had a problem on my garage roof ever since. I had the builder fix it twice, and it still leaked. He did a good job, and I won't know for sure until we have a snow storm. But, the description of the problem he gave me, from looking at it from above, and not from inside the attic above it. He knew what he was talking about. He described what he found, and sealed the hole. He was a very competent, and thorough person. I would recommend them and I was very pleased. The overall experience was excellent.

Very professional. On time. As it turned out, my roof was in good shape and no additional work was needed. But I was glad to have the peace of mind that it was professionally inspected since it has been 8 - 10 years since my roof was replaced.

We had 2 minor leaks. They inspected + sealed both. They did a complete roof inspection, re-fastened and sealed some loose flashing. I was suprised with the thoroughness of the inspection, the time they took to review their findings, and overall professionalism of the company. Would recommend and use them again.

Flashing was fine as was the condition of our roof. Jason gave us great news about all aspects of our roof, he sealed only minimal areas as needed, discussed roof vents & did discover a potential future problem with our chimney. He could not have been more professional, no pressure & completely helpful. Would HIGHLY recommend this company to anyone. We left his inspection wide open to let him do his work. He did it very professionally & could not have been more customer oriented.

We had a big deal purchase. It went well. Everything went pretty well. He was pretty professional. He didn't do a whole lot of work but what was expected they did that. The people were good.

From the get go, working with this company was a pleasure. They were polite and willing to work with you and communicated all that was necessary. They also made sure that you were certain that things would be done right. I had called them prior to obtaining a voucher for work from Angie's, until I had spoken with them. My roof is very sharp and on their ad there is a clause that the roof had to be walkable. To me it is not walkable and wanted to find out if it would be a waste of time to work with them. The operator called me back rather quickly to rest my fears that the work would be done or the money would be refunded. Upon getting here on time the man was quick, professional and very easy to communicate with during his stay. He was organized and ready to go. Although, he was by himself with no team members to fall back on he remained resourceful through out his time that he was here. All that he did was calm, collected and never hurried and communicated everything with me even when he was on top of my house. I enjoyed his stay and took photos of his climbing about effortless with using sofa cushions which in his business was called Cadillacs. So instead of walking on the roof he had to orchestrate himself around and it was interesting to watch and would recommend this company for anyone. Photos were taken and can be shared. In my book this is the way every company should run.

Everything went well. He was punctual and was able to come over within a day of talking to him. Very professional and personable. Definitely would use Benchmark Roofing if I ever need anything done with my roof.

I purchased the Big Deal special for roof inspection and resealing. Steve Brown worked with my crazy schedule to get the inspection completed. He arrived exactly when scheduled, was very professional and went above and beyond by installing the 3 shingles that had been wind damaged. I would highly recommend this company ... I was told during the estimate appointment (8/12/2013) it would be about 2 weeks out to initiate the job and it would be done the same day. They completed it in two afternoons. They were short enough down spout to complete the job in one day so they had to return another day to complete the initial job. However they installed one of the down spouts diagonally across the roof instead of in a vertical fashion as was discussed. I called them to inform them of the issue and they came back in about a week and corrected the problem. Altogether it was about a two and a half week process (approximately 8/22/2013-9/06/2013). I was impressed by the professionalism from the initial phone call, the inspection and estimate appointment. and the correction of the down spout issue. I know things don't always go as planned so the extra time it took did not bother me. I am very happy with the results.

He called and asked when he could come to perform the roof inspection/sealing, and I told him anytime, as long as I didn't have to be home for it. Amazingly, he said he could come that very afternoon, within an hour or two. He told me everything he would do, and then said he would call me when he was done and let me know how it looked. Sure enough, I spoke with him just a few hours later, and he had done the inspection, sealed a few spots, and said the roof was in good condition. He told me about a rubber boot around a toilet-venting pipe that was in pretty bad repair and would need to be fixed. He said he sealed it as best he could, but that it was a temporary fix and that it would need to be permanently replaced in order to keep water from leaking into our attic. However, I never got the feeling like he was trying to push me to purchase the repair from his company, which I very much appreciated. It just felt like he was honestly informing me of the situation and allowing me to make a decision. I told him I would definitely call him back if we decided to get the repair done, and I will -- his honesty and non-salesmanlike attitude both served to make me feel like I would like to keep Benchmark Roofing as "our roof guys."
