Benchmark Roofing

Description of Work: Benchmark did one of the most thorough inspections and estimates I've ever seen, and alerted me to several issues I was unaware of (but later confirmed myself, visually, for confidence.) They provided reasonable advice and a fair estimate for the repairs, which involved replacing some shingles, flashing and repairing a hole in the side of a dormer. The work was done promptly, and they gladly did a follow-up visual inspection of the job with me to be sure I was satisfied. They helped me work through a thorny problem with my homeowners insurance underwriters to provide extra documentation of the work done, including pictures. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone, and would use them again if necessary.

They got the job done in one day and really cleaned up after themselves. I had a question about the flashing up against the chimney as I didn't like the color of the paint. Description of Work: I've been using Steve Brown from Benchmark for at least ten years. They are excellent and Steve is particularly honest and hardworking. You can trust him to make sure the job is done correctly. They've done some roof repair for us, capped and tuck-pointed the chimney, as well as installing some heavy duty gutter guards. When it's time to have them re-do our roof, they are going to get the call. Today I has a small leak in the flashing around my chimney. Steve came out and patched it up in about 10 minutes - and said, "no charge." Great job, Benchmark! It's that kind of customer service that will keep me coming back - and telling my friends about their work.
