They are very helpful and if I do replace my roof I will probably use them. They took off some shingles for me so I could send them to the shingle company for evaluation.

Saved us a ton of money by repairing the roof and not replacing it. We were selling the house, so we didn't want to sink too much money into it. It looks as good as new!

Steve Brown provided an estimate and supervised the job. He was great. The roof looks good and seems to be functionally sound. The cleanup was average at best. But, I am happy with the job and have recommended Benchmark.

I was told by the receptionist that someone would call me in a "couple of days" to schedule appointment. Four days have gone by and still no call. I wonder if the reason I never received a call-back is because I refused to give the receptionist the name of my insurance company? If these folks don't even have the courtesy to call and say they are too busy to take on another roofing job, then I don't want them doing any work on my home anyway.

The salesman was very polite, gave me an estimate on that day. The workers came out and put the roof on, they were polite. The salesmen came out and checked on the workers. And they did a pretty good clean-up job.

Best estimate for high quality, thorough work among five companies I called. For the same work (and possibly more), this estimate was about $100-500 less than other also excellent companies (for the same work). I was impressed with the estimator Steve Brown, who clearly knows roofing very well and is comfortable with his work and the quality of his work. In answering questions I had, he was thorough and helpful, and he seemed honest and capable. We are going to have them replace the garage roof. He did the estimate quickly and carefully, and I appreciated his not trying to "sell" me.

Overall experience was excellent. I found the spot in the ceiling on Friday, called Benchmark in the morning and they were there the next day to repair the problem. Denny was great to work with, and did a very thorough job. It was great to work with someone as responsive as Benchmark. I would definitely recommend and use again.

Since our home is only 8 1/2 years old, I was surprised by the leak. I believe in preventative maintenance. I asked Denny how often flashing should be replaced. Normally, it should last as long as the roof (20-25 years), but UV rays had damaged the rubber and it was cracked. Denny showed me the part he replaced. Denny said we should have our roof "walked" about every 5 years and this type of problem could be found before a leak or other damage. Good advice.

They were prompt and the price was reasonable and they cleaned up themselves.

Steve was very punctual both with the estimate and arriving several days later to start the roof. The roof was done quickly and well. The receptionist was also very helpful and friendly.

We called the roofer in the morning and by 2:30 in the afternoon the job was complete. We are very satisfied with his work. It is the first time we have called them and we would definitely call them again. I was also happy with the discount as an Angie's List member.

The crew was very hard working and did the job in a day. The roof looks good and they were very professional. They used quality shingles that matched our house perfectly.

The technician was very knowledgeable and skilled in roofing (and he was like a spider-man on the roof). Another roofing company recommended that we replace a 4x4 section of roofing and plywood due to rotted wood. However, this work was not really needed, and Benchmark confirmed that. We appreciated Benchmarks fair and honest treatment of what we needed.

I had a very good experience with Benchmark. They came out promptly and gave an estimate to perform the work the next day. The roofer, Denny (or Danny?), showed up on time as scheduled. He showed me the damaged flashing once it was replaced, and also took time to straighten a bent roof edge along a different section above the door. I found it a pleasure to work with him and would recommend the company.

The installation crew was very efficient and cleaned up thoroughly. I was impressed. My only disappointment was an implied promise by Benchmark to work with a ''glassperson'' to replace skylights. This was not done; however, it was not part of the contract either.

They were able to do the repairs the same day they came out with the estimate. They had the correct colored shingles. It was great to get this taken care of so quickly and easily.

This company is great. They'll provide free estimates, while their minimum fee is $200. This might sound a little steep, but they'll do even minor repairs on any kind of roof, including slate, and--as in this case--will even let you know when you can wait on doing repairs so you can make the most of the minimum charge. Any time I've had a problem, they've come right back out and fixed it.

Everything went fine. The workers showed up when they said they would and did everything to my complete satisfaction.

I'm really glad I used them & would recommend them to anyone needing a roof. Eager to please...
