Workers arrived on arranged date at the right time, completed job quickly, efficiently, and well. I am very pleased with results and would use this company again.

I purchased a roof inspection/maintenance package through Angie's Big Deal. This is the third and last time I will purchase one of those Big Deal packages -- I have been disappointed with all of them. It seems like the companies that offer those deals are happy with the upfront payment and less interested in providing high quality services. In this case, the roof inspection was not able to be scheduled during any of my preferred times. The inspector then called to say he would be late, but was over 30 minutes later than the revised time estimate. The estimator appeared to be more interested in talking than providing high quality service (for instance, about weather patterns, for which he did not strike me as having any particular expertise) and stepped on flowers in my garden without apology when he was looking at the roof from the ground. After a VERY brief inspection of the roof, he provided an estimate that was several hundred dollars over every other estimate I received for the repair. Unfortunately, part of the "package" I purchased was $100 toward any repair needed. That would have almost covered the work by the other companies who provided estimates, but not this company -- so that money was just wasted.

The claim paid by the insurance company was not clear. He came and worked with the insurance adjuster, explained all our concerns and worked with the adjuster. Came back explained the impact to me.

Deciding I needed to get this project going I called Ascent Roofing and had someone at my house the next day for the estimate. Jeff explained the company history in detail and of course, the information needed for my roof. Once I decided to go with Ascent Roofing the job was completed in one day the next week. They even attached a fascia board that had come lose. They covered bushes to protect them and removed and returned all furniture from my deck to protect it. The area around my house was spotless when they were finished. A few screens were ripped as the old roofs were taken off but were fixed in a very timely manner.

The replacement went very well. The manager was on site throughout the installation. Excellent clean up when the job was done. The total price was as estimated. Very good Service overall, we would recommend using them.

Lyndon diagnosed the issue and fixed it quickly. Not a whole lot of guessing whether he got it right or not with the June rain we had -- not a drop so far. Was a small job, but can't stress enough how well it went from Brent answering the phone after hours with my first call, Lyndon on the roof, and followup from Tonya in the office. Went very well. Jeff Christy explained everything clearly, and answered all my concerns. Ascent Roofing's price is competitive, so their familiarity with navigating through the design requirements of this neighborhood is a convenient plus. With all the rain we have had, the slight (couple of days) delay from the scheduled date was quite understandable. The crew worked from 8 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. to finish in one day, not an easy job with the steep pitch of the roof. They did great!

The service went well. They were very knowledgeable about the roof.

Representative also inspected roof and felt we needed to do some repairs. We thanked home and declined any additional service.

Working with Ascent was a very positive experience! Jeff did a great job of explaining, without high pressure, and coordinated things very well. He, as well as everyone else, was very professional (and on time!) and did what they said they were going to do. Despite all of the bad weather, roof and gutters were installed as scheduled (because of my schedule, we scheduled several weeks in advance). There were no surprises and everything went very smoothly and as planned. And both the roofing and gutter crews cleaned up everything completely. I originally found Ascent Roofing through Angie's List. In an apples-to-apples comparison with an estimate from one of their competitors, Ascent was significantly less expensive. (I also considered a small one-person operation, but discounted him for other reasons.) Based on my experience, I would definitely recommend Ascent Roofing Solutions. Skylar and his team did a great job inspecting our roof. He was very professional and driven to make a sale, and really worked hard to make it happen. Unfortunately, my wife and I just 'clicked' better with a different vendor -- Ascent's pricing, quality, professionalism and all the rest were certainly on par with the others. I'll be encouraging my friends and family to look up Ascent any time they need roofing repair or installation

Summary: I felt like everyone at Ascent genuinely wanted to make me a satisfied customer. Their actions showed it. My point of contact was Jason Elliot, one of Ascent's co-owners, and he was very responsive and interested in helping me every step of the way. Full Story: I noticed a water leak in my attic. It wasn't severe (yet); the water was dripping into the soffit and didn't damage any ceilings. Still, this disturbed me, so I contacted Ascent Roofing to purchase a $125 roof inspection and minor repair. They had someone come out and look at my roof (on a Saturday). He pointed out that shingles were peeling up and some were cracked. It wasn't in great shape. The likely suspect was wind and hail damage from a strong storm earlier that year. They also found damage to my aluminium siding. I wasn't going to pay for a roof replacement, much less anything to do with siding. I didn't have the money for it. So we called my insurance company, Amica, and filed a claim. Water leaks are quite bad, after all. Amica came through for me big time and they were easy to deal with, though that is a different review. They wrote up an estimate with that would give me approximately $12k after deductible. I was going to supplement it by about $3k so that I could have the siding replaced with Hardie Plank, which is an extremely durable siding made of an engineered cement fiber composite. My contact with Ascent wanted a bit more, but eventually said that approx. $16k would be enough to cover the siding and the part of the roof that needed repair. Shortly after that he left the company. One of Ascent's owners, Jason Elliot, took over my account. I was initially upset: the ~$16k was no longer enough to cover the costs. As it turns out, there were errors in the original estimate. We also realized that the $12k from Amica was only intended to cover replacement of one side of the house, and not the other two matching sides. While I was discussing this with Jason and trying to make it work, Jason negotiated with Amica again. It worked! Amica was willing to raise the claim amount to cover the other sides of the house, and now we had $20k to work with! This made it much easier to close the deal and get work done. For my troubles, Jason gave me some aggressive discounts and I didn't have to pay much more to have Hardie Plank all over, with window trim, and a completely new roof for my house and garage. Gutters too! I was ecstatic! I gladly agreed. The lesson here is that Ascent Roofing will give you a fair deal, and if there are any bumps along the way: they will make it right. This review is already long, so I'll spare you the details of how all the construction was planned and carried out. Here are the highlights: - The quality of workmanship was very good. - The roofers were hardworking. They were fast and careful. - The roofers used a dumpster at the back of my house to haul away old material. No large vehicles were driven over my lawn or near my house. This is important because large vehicles can crush water or gas (!) pipes (or electrical, if you have that buried). - They subcontracted the siding folks and the gutter company. This makes sense: at the time, Ascent was primarily a roofing company, so it makes sense to outsource other tasks to different professionals. - The siding company worked much more slowly. The siding wasn't time-critical for me, so this was no big deal. Early on I had pretty much told Jason to not worry about it. - My house had foam sheathing (surprise!), and the siding pros didn't realize this until they tore off the old siding. HardiePlank needs to be secured to wood sheathing, so they had to add a layer of sheathing to my house. This was the one expense that exceeded the original estimate. The sheathing work was priced very fairly, and the whole job ended up being still a very good deal. - They used this nice colored caulk (OSI brand) that matched the siding color. It looks very nice. - The gutters went up quickly and without complication. - Jason routinely inspected the work to ensure that things were up to snuff. - I am a picky person and I made a few requests about how I wanted the work to be done. All of these were responded to very promptly. More specifically, Jason would respond to my communication either on the same day, or within the next day. He was very quick and well organized. - The folks at Ascent (including Jason) would meet with me on weekends. I didn't have to take time off work to do business. At the end of it all, I felt the results looked beautiful. Job well done.

Showed up on time and completed a thorough inspection. I was not having any problems with my roof. I just wanted to make sure that there were no surprises. No work was needed after the inspection. Went great.

Brent and his entire crew were fantastic. They were so helpful in making decisions and educating us on all of our options and exactly what we needed. The work was done quickly and with minimal disturbance to us. Our overall experience was wonderful and we will definitely be recommending this company to our family and friends in the future. Brent and his entire team at Ascent Roofing were absolutely stellar in every capacity that a business should be. From their communication and attentiveness to the thorough quality of their work and their timeliness, they made my experience in having my roof replaced an excellent one. I didn't just feel like a client or a contract - Brent and Andres and Cesar took care of our family just as they would their own. I recommend them wholeheartedly. When the heavy spring rains started, a section of the ceiling in our living room became discolored from what I thought was a minor leak. Based on Angie's List reviews of Ascent, I purchased the Angie's List Big Deal from Ascent for a roof tune-up. Brent was very friendly and assessed the situation professionally. Upon learning why I purchased the Big Deal, Brent was concerned about the nature of the leak and sent his foreman Andres to visually inspect the situation - that same evening. Their combined years of experience and insight proved right - the leak was part of a much bigger roof failure that needed addressed quickly. Within a matter of a few days, Brent had met with me to explain the results of their inspection; met with my homeowners insurance company's representative to demonstrate Ascent's findings and the remedies they proposed; and provided me with a comprehensive outline and schedule of the work that needed to be completed. All of this was done without sales pressure - I truly felt as though Brent was treating our family as he would his own if they were faced with the same situation. Andres and his crew were excellent in craftsmanship and attention to detail - the new roof and necessary architectural adjustments were completed expertly - from receiving materials on time, coordinating with my schedule and cleaning up completely when the work was completed. Brent visited to do a preliminary inspection and arranged for his associate Cesar to come remove and replace the damaged drywall, insulation and ceiling. Cesar's portion of the project was completed politely and professionally within one business morning. Brent visited again to inspect and to answer some questions I had. Brent then arranged for another associate to come adjust the pitch of the top gutter and install a new downspout to ensure that the same damage would not occur again even with strong wind or rainstorms. I can't emphasize enough how very thorough and thoughtful Brent and his team at Ascent Roofing were during this very intimidating situation. I feel very confident about the quality of their work and their intent to return my home to a safe, comfortable, durable place for my family to live for many years. In fact, I became alarmed during the first rainstorm after their work was completed - with one text to Brent (who was out of town at a conference), Andres was at my home within thirty minutes to ensure that all was well and to assauge my concerns. Note that it was the second time during this project that Andres visited my home outside normal business hours to ensure our comfort and safety - once at 7pm on a weekday and once on a Sunday afternoon. I completely endorse Ascent Roofing and recommend them without hesitation!

He was professional, kind, and offered many tips that were beyond his job which were appreciated. Worked quickly and seemed honest in his assessment of the roof (that nothing was wrong!).

It went ok. We bought an Angies List deal with them and I thought things were more expensive then I thought but it was not that more expensive so I think it was ok.

I don't exactly know what repair they did as I had a roof leak in my house which is 4 yrs old. Lot of promises were made at the time of initial assessment. They do not offer any guarantee on their repair work and are fairly expensive compared to their peers. No communication regarding what was done. Just got repeated emails to pay the final amount . Time taken from the initial quote and payment to the final job was approximately 3 months. Would NOT recommend to anyone having roof repairs. I know now which company NOT to contact for roof repairs.
