Description of Work: I responded to an Angie's List deal for increasing my insulation to 60R for $399, because I wanted it over my garage. I was told at initial consultation with provider's sales person this was a waste of my money. We came to an agreement to have it blown in over the existing insulation over the living areas for additional cost, of course. Installers were prompt, (even a half hour early), cleaned up afterwards, and had me check the work when completed. I talked to the provider afterwards and one of the owners came to inspect the work. He informed me I was shorted about 4 to 6 inches of insulation, apologized for the mistake in calculation, and had the installers back the next evening to finish the work. The owner went above and beyond.

Description of Work: Ascent roofing did a spectacular job in providing both roofing and insulation services at our home. This was a challenging job, and the consultation provided was of the highest quality. The slope of our roof, as well as the terrain, made this a tough (and dangerous) procedure - the crew was on time, worked diligently over two days, picked up EVERY piece of scrap left after the roof was installed. From the beginning, the process was smooth. We were provided with a clear understanding of the products available, and we chose a top-line product for both the roofing as well as the insulation. While we were interested in the cost, we were equally interested in finding a product that would provide the utmost confidence going forward, as we do not plan to leave our home. The manner in which the staff dealt with us was 100% professional, and no pressure. However, after seeing the options, we were comfortable in moving forward immediately. After the job, the owner surveyed the results and immediately provided two replacement down spouts that we nicked and slightly bent - no questions asked. We could not have been more pleased with the results, and have already suggested Ascent to two customers who are considering roofing and/or insulation.

Description of Work: We just redeemed our big deal we purchased a few weeks ago. I was very impressed with Ascent and how easy the process was! From appointment set up to installation, the employees were very professional and polite. When the technician arrived, he presented me with his card and introduced himself. He then explained what he was going to do and about how long it would take. I really appreciated that care he took and how nice and professional he was. He completed the job in the time specified. I couldn't be happier and highly recommend this company!

Description of Work: Tore off two layers of roofing, replaced bad wood, and installed Owens Corning TruDefinition 50-year Shingles.Re-flashed chimney and stucco at in the front of the house. Replaced roof vents. Installed venting for bathroom fan.

Description of Work: Provided estimate. The price was competitive with other companies, but the price was calculated at the kitchen table while I waited. However, the other companies came out prior to our appointment to measure and then provided a specific list and description of the work to be completed. This included the materials and other information which was helpful. Ascent did not provide this kind of information and it was a factor in my decision to use another company. The estimate was in the $12,000 dollar range. The rep.from Ascent was friendly and helpful, but might have just started with them as he did not have a business card.

Description of Work: We set up an appointment for an estimate for insulation for our entire house. A very pleasant gentleman came on time, did an inspection and we discussed his assessment. He said he had to get back to the office to talk to the boss to know how to price the project and that he would either email his proposal or leave it on our porch when he was in the neighborhood. He left and we have not heard back since, even though I emailed them about the project a couple of weeks ago. Two gentlemen contacted me via email from Ascent roofing and one of them also called our home and spoke with my husband after I posted my review. One said he had emailed the promised estimate, but when they checked their files, they had sent it to the wrong address. They were courteous and apologetic. One of them made a suggestion for doing insulation in a way that was not what I was looking for. I thanked them for their response but by that time we had already contracted with another company to do the work. I felt their response was appropriate; mistakes happen.

Description of Work: Jason Elliott and his team were there as soon as the sun was up and they worked non-stop way passed when the sun was down. They were so thorough and complete in their work, that many of the workers were out with miners helments on with lights when it became to dark - to make sure everything was completely cleaned up before they left. The next morning, they were there bright and early again, just to go over ever detail of the roof, and looked through the yard again, to make sure all debris had been cleaned up. The team was very considerate, and efficient. I was thoroughly impressed with their work, and work ethic. I am also very happy with the way my roof looks. Very sleek, the color of the shingles matches my brick beautifully, and many neighbors have commented on the great job that Jason and his team have done. I recommend this company very highly!
