+ -1 moreAfter talking to and getting quotes from several companies we decided to go with America’s Floor Source for our project, which involved changing floors in our entire house: hardwood floor downstairs, new carpeting upstairs and vinyl floor in the laundry room. The price was in line with what others offered us, but unlike some other companies who put a lot of pressure on you to sign the contract on the spot, the sales representative of this company, Derrick was extremely helpful and patient with us. He explained us the difference between various products and materials, didn’t pressure us to buy the most expensive brand or to sign the contract immediately. (A side note: this company offers a variety of quality US-made materials!) Derrick has left various hardwood and carpet samples with us for a few days, which was very important for us: we could see how the floor would look like under various lighting conditions. He even came up with some interesting ideas regarding our staircase. Derrick supervised the entire project which involved three different professional teams. My wife and I cannot be happier about the results of this work! Everything was done quickly and with high professionalism. The installers took care of everything: they moved all the furniture and even heavy exercise equipment in the bedroom (something that other companies refused to do), cleaned up everything after completing the work. When replacing the vinyl floor in the laundry room they have discovered an unexpected problem with the plywood floor underneath, which they kindly replaced and repaired the same day. Another unexpected problem: the new hardwood floor was thicker than the old one, which presented some challenges with doors, transitions and the staircase, but everything has been taken care of. Transitions took longer than expected: required a special order, but now everything looks absolutely gorgeous, especially the hardwood floor! My wife just can’t stop admiring the new look of our house! What a great job!
