Excellent. They had great attention to detail, work was good, lots of checking to make sure we were pleased, and didn't need anything done the next day.

We had asked Tim to quote for family room, small eating area, & kitchen. He quoted us $620.00 I thought it was a bit pricey so I asked him to work with our budget and got the painting done for less than what he had quoted. Tim was very professional from the beginning, he explained to me what could be done and gave me some alternatives as well. On the day of painting he and one more painter were right on time and got the whole thing done before 4.30pm that same day. Though he did leave a little bit on painters tape on the hinges of door. But I wouldn't complain for the quality of work done. I would hire him again in future if I need to get something painted.

Tim went out of his way to coordinate with our schedule as we were having other contractors doing some work for us. Of all of the contractors we worked with over the period of our remodel project, Tim was far and beyond the most professional and conscientious of all and we worked with some very reputable and good contractors. We will never consider another company but Above and Beyond for our painting needs.

They arrived on time each day and called to make sure everything was going as it should. The painters were very careful of things in the house including putting down sliders under furniture on our wood floor. They finished up early on Friday, so we could have folks in on Saturday.

My experience with them was ok. It was not great. They had wonderful references. We had a situation where they had been on the project. They came in to do the painting and said the walls needed more repair work. They called a gentleman to come out right away. It seemed like they were working together. We had some issues with the paint bubbling. They came back a week or two later to take care of it.

In a perfect world, all companies would care about their work as much as Above & Beyond.

Contacted Tim from Angie's List. He was very responsive and arrived exactly on time for scheduled estimate. The estimate was given in late July and he said he'd call us mid-August to schedule the work. In mid-August we were told that the work would be done by September 2nd. Tim and crew took two days to complete the project. They worked on a Friday and even came in on Labor Day to finish the project on-time. Most of the work was performed by Tim's crew with close oversight by Tim himself. He demanded perfection in all aspects of the job and paid particular attention to details. Tim was in constant contact with me and took time to point out details of their work that he felt were important to note. The cleanup was probably consistent with a job of this size but there was more dust then I was expecting. The crew also accidentally got some caulking on the carpet and without knowing it worked the caulk down into the fibers by stepping on the area a few times while packing up. At this point I think most contractors would have told me to get a scrub brush and would have wished me good luck - but Tim, consistent with the company name, had the entire room professionally steam cleaned at his cost the very next day.

Free estimate given; very thorough and detailed. Worked in our kitchen for five consecutive days. We received a courtesy call each morning notifying us that the crew was on its way and updated us on the plans for the day. Cleaned up dust and vacuumed at the end of each work day, which we did not expect until the end of the project. Very pleased with the results of our new kitchen, looks even better than what we anticipated. Crew actually went "above and beyond" by installing the glass inserts into our cabinets, a service we did not pay for. Would definitely use their services again, highly recommended!

Every time we use him we get tremendous service. He is very honest, fair, and reliable. He only does the highest quality work. He pays close attention to detail.

It went very well. The crew did great work. They are the ones who are responsible for making it an A+ company. They do an excellent job even without the owners supervision.

They live up to their name. Above and beyond. Tim, the owner is very responsive and conscientious about exceeding customer expectation.

At the time of contracting (deposit), he explained that his internal jobs normally occur when his external jobs are delayed because of bad weather (i.e. rain). He was up front and managed our expectations on when the work would be done. He gave us a 48 hour notice that he intended to paint our kitchen and showed as promised. His painting was excellent (sharp lines near crown molding, keeping wet edge, etc.) and timely. After finishing our kitchen, he and his team finished our dining room. My wife and I are very satisfied with the work. We plan to paint two additional rooms in our house with A&B Painting.

In the end, we ended up with a fantastic finished product. Nice smooth plaster walls, precise ceiling and trim lines (which can be extremely tricky with old plaster walls), and an overall high quality paint job. But equally as important as the finished product is the experience we had working with Tim and his crew. It was a true pleasure working with Tim to get our house ready for our move in. He was quick to return my initial call, was able to come a couple days later to provide an estimate on a Saturday afternoon to work with our schedule, and managed to get our job completed within the short time frame that we needed it done. Since we were living out of town during our project, it was important for us to find someone we felt comfortable working in our house unsupervised. Tim certainly fit the bill. He presented himself in a very professional manner during the estimate process and the professionalism carried through to the quality of the painting as well as his communication throughout the project. Tim kept us inform on the status of the project, was adaptable to change requests that we made, and offered suggestions along the way to ensure that we would be happy with the end result. He and his team worked around other contractors that we had working in the house while they were there. And, understanding our predicament of being out of town, Tim provided us updates on the work of the other contractors and offered to let them in and direct them to their work in the event we would be unable to be there ourselves. After our experience with this project, Above and Beyond Painting is the only company that we will call for any future painting needs.

Tim and his workers did an excellent job. The painted the walls and ceilings in three bedrooms and also a laundry room. What a great improvement they made! Tim was very responsive to any changes or requests I made and his employees were polite, communicative and tidy. I am sure we will hire them again. A heater vent was accidentally broken during the work, and Tim took care of it immediately and with integrity.

This company deserves the name, Above and Beyond, because the service they provide goes way above and beyond what the contract calls for. From caulking, patching, and sanding to the final coat of paint their work was meticulous as was the clean up each day and at the end of the project. After Tim had presented the estimate for the above-mentioned rooms to be painted, as an afterthought I inquired about caulk for my kitchen cabinets. Tim provided this service gratis and my cabinets look brand new. From a thorough explanation of the process to daily checks on everything, Tim kept me fully informed throughout the process and regularly asked for feedback including a courtesy call a few days after the project was completed. Prompt, courteous, and Pride in Workmanship best describes this company! Above and Beyond Painting will be our only choice for future painting needs.

The company's owner, Tim Barton, introduced his workers (Brian and Chuck) to me. While they started prepping the surfaces, Tim went to the paint store for the paint and stain. One of my old gallons of product had deteriorated too much to match so Tim returned to my home, took some of the old chipped paint to the paint store, and used that for a match. As a result, the match was perfect. In the process of staining the garage doors, there was apparently a bit of stain that landed on the surrounding light trim. Tim called my cell phone to see if he could access my stored paint in my basement to find my house stain so Brian and Chuck could re-stain the trim around the garage door. That was an extra that I hadn't expected: now my garage doors and the surrounding trim look great.

Great experience. Contacted this company for the last of three estimates that we got (all from A-rated Angie's List companies). Tim Barton was able to come within a few days to give an estimate, and was very thorough in making sure he understood what we wanted. I was confident he would provide quality work in a timely fashion, and his estimate was also the lowest of the three. He was able to schedule the job within a couple of weeks, which worked well with our schedule. He and his crew showed up when they said they would each day, provided a good day's work and within 4 days had finished the job which included prepping (caulking, patching and sanding where needed) and painting our living room, dining room, family room, kitchen, master BR and one other bedroom. Their attention to detail was impressive, noticing things that even I had missed, or would never have thought of. Quality of the finished work was excellent. They were scrupulous in cleaning up each day and at the end of the job.

This company was very professional and thorough. Above and beyond, takes pride in their work, and all workers were courteous with a good work ethic. The walls were repaired, primed, sanded, treated, and anything else that needed to be done. Tim checked on everything, explained the process, and asked for feedback regularly. The work was done promptly with cleanup at the end of the day. Workers helped restore the rooms, even tightening the legs of the dining room table! The rooms look wonderful, and we were very pleased with the results.

What I liked about Above and Beyond was that Tim, the owner, stressed quality first and his team was very professional. The crew was dedicated to the project, and it was completed on time. He actually referred me to the drywall repair man. Everyone made sure that I was informed every step of the way. Everything was cleaned up afterwards as much as possible, and furniture was put back in place, wiped all the woodwork, and swept. Tim and his crew just like the company's name, did go above and beyond my expectations, and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

Tim and his team did a great job from start to finish. The work they do to prepare the walls before they paint is amazing. Our house looks brand new again! There were two or three people working at a time and they were all very friendly and professional. We asked them to paint certain areas first to least disrupt our routine and make it easier for our kids and they had no problem with that. Choose them - Tim will make sure you are happy and your house will look great!

Tim and his partner did a fantastic job! We were hesitant to hire painters because we are very careful and particular, but couldn't reach the stairway ceilings. Tim came out a few days after I called to do the estimate, and came back the following Saturday to do the job. They caulked around all doors and sanded the plaster walls before starting. They fixed some holes in the ceiling and repaired an area near a window. I will definitely hire them again!

Tim and all of the members of his team were professional, polite, friendly, talented and conscientious. From his first visit to give us a quote, Tim was very focused on providing quality and timely services. They did the job with great attention to detail always keeping us informed along the way. We felt very safe giving them access to our home when we were present or not. They cleaned everything up each night and at the conclusion of the project, they took great care to return the rooms to their original state. We will continue to use Above and Beyond Painting to do future projects inside or outside.

The work is fabulous! Even our guests notice the quality of the work. Tim noticed nail holes and wall imperfections and repaired them all to give us a truly well finished look. They were very careful with our home and furnishings and kept the work areas clean. I will never pick up a paint brush again!

Tim gave us an estimate for painting the interior of our new home. Two days after getting the estimate, my fianc 's sisters offered to paint for us as a wedding gift, so we did not need to hire Tim. He is the one, the ONLY one, we would have hired. I am now looking for painting projects in the home I am selling so I can hire Tim anyway! He's just that good! He is professional, personable and punctual. He does the work himself. I can't wait to see what he can do when the opportunity arises! His price was fair and in line with the other estimates we received from other contractors.

They we timely and very neat. The job made the house look great! I am scheduling for more painting to be done soon!
