Description of Work: Called 5 or 6 times and left message and phone number. Never returned my call(s). Not ever. I was nice on the message EVERY time. No response.

Description of Work: I requested an estimate from Spivey's Premier Painting LLC to clean and paint the exterior trim on our house. Terry responded promptly and came out to determine what would need to be done so he could prepare an estimate. We talked through the scope of the work and he told me he would have me an estimate within three days, which he did. We ended up choosing a different painter who quoted a lower price and had equally good reviews on Angie's List

Description of Work: I contacted Spivey Painting to obtain an estimate for home exterior painting. They responded quickly and efficiently to my request. My overall impression is that they are meticulous, conscientious and would have done an excellent job; however, I did not choose them for the project.

Description of Work: The job was painting the exterior of a two-unit townhouse building in a condominium association. Our former painter could no longer handle the big jobs so we had to bid out. I got Terry's name from Angie's List. His bid was by far the lowest. Everyone was impressed with the work ethic of Terry and his crew. They even worked weekends! Terry was actually on site everyday. He is very easy to work with and really impressed the residents of that building. The condo board (I'm a member) decided that Terry is a keeper and have asked him to give us an estimate on the building we want him to paint next year.

Description of Work: I was a little disappointed with the results in one room where I didn't notice there was wallpaper that had been painted over by a previous owner. They offered to pull the paper down and paint the room. I didn't notice while they were here, but the wall had scratches that we're visible through the paint. I didn't expect that. Over all they did what they were hired to do, used quality paint and cleaned up after themselves.

Description of Work: Never returned call. then finally returned call 2 months later and was supposed to give me and estimate, then again I did not hear from them. I would not recommend these people.

Description of Work: Came promptly to give estimate. Walked around the house and kept stating how difficult the job would be then wrote down an estimate on the back of his card and left. No breakdown or discription of service to be done. His number was 200% higher than the next. I saw the great reviews on line but would not recommend them.

Description of Work: I called them to schedule an appointment for an estimate to paint the entire first floor interior of a single family house. I left a message and received a call the next day where we scheduled a time for someone from the company to come over and look at the house. That conversation took place on a Tuesday and we scheduled the appointment for the following Wednesday. On the day of the appointment I had to leave work early to meet the guy at my house. The appointment time came and went with no painter and no phone call. In the days and weeks following the missed appointment I called the company at least a dozen times to try to get ahold of someone; however no one ever answered or called me back. I left multiple messages. All I wanted was an explanation and maybe an apology since I had to burn a half day of leave time at work waiting for them, but they never saw fit to do the right thing. I recorded all the messages I left them in case they try to dispute this review.

Description of Work: Not only did Terry come out and give me a complete estimate, he helped me with color choices and gave me advice on how to paint the exterior of my home...things I would not have thought of They were prompt, polite, and showed up when they said they would. They did an excellent job, going above and beyond in my opinion. They painted the entire exterior...brick on bottom, siding, trim, shutters, porch railing, and deck including cabinets. They also painted all my porch furniture to match the white of the railings. He even got out an oil stain left on my driveway by a fence company! I would highly recommend them and plan to use them in the future for all my painting needs!!

Description of Work: What a great job! Mr. Spivey worked with my crazy work schedule to come to my home and work up an estimate around my back yard decks and large shed. He came back again so we could determine colors and a schedule. It was a pleasant surprise when the job was complete a day early. The work Spivey's completed will allow me to enjoy my yard once again!!!

Description of Work: Mr. Spivey arrived on time for our appointment. He gave me an estimate on cleaning, sealing the deck and lattice work around the deck. He also gave me an estimate on replacing the steps on the deck.

Description of Work: I had called Spivey's painting and left a message a couple of times with no response. After leaving a bad rating on Angie's List, Terry the owner called me back and informed me that he had been out of town working due to the storms affecting other areas and had just gotten back. He asked if I still needed a quote and I did still need one. He came out and bid on my entire painting of my interior. The bid was very competitive but we chose to go with another company that gave us the same price but more detail on a room by room line item quote. Terry was very pleasant and responsive. I would ask for a bid again in the future if anything came up where we needed his services.
