Description of Work: We hired Smith Landscaping to do our patio last summer. While they gave us the best price, you pay for what you get. Overall, the patio looks decent, however there are a lot of issues:1. They left concrete exposed from our deck footers and I asked them repeatedly to get me a quote on covering them up. The owner never got back to me2. They did an awful job filling the hill back in with dirt behind our retaining wall. 3. They showed up with only about 1/2 the sod they needed to fix the areas they messed up and the second time they showed up, they still didn't bring enough and never came back to fix it. 4. When it's rained, there are 2 areas where water sits instead of rolling off like it should. 5. They didn't glue down the tops to the retaining wall and we now have to do it on our own or pay someone to do it. 6. They knew where our electric and fiber optic lines were and hit both lines within 15 minutes. The owner admitted to me afterwards that they basically knew they were going to hit them and didn't make any attempt to work around them. 7. Finally, they didn't even offer to seal the patio and now we are going to have to have it cleaned, power washed and sealed. Oh - and they charged me for extra square footage in the end that I didn't ask for or approve. The owner was responsive when things were good, but when there were problems he was difficult to get in touch with.

+ -1 moreI had Smith's come out and do landscaping on the front and side yard. He guaranteed all the plants for at least a year, and yet I have quite a few that did not last that long. It was very difficult to contact them again on the phone, and they were late for several appointments to begin the work. I never received any word from Smith's to tell me they were delayed, and I had to follow up with them in order to find out what was happening. I was not happy with the performance of this company.
Description of Work: Landscaping done on the whole front yard and side yard.

+ -1 moreSMITH'S TAKES THE TIME TO DISCUSS WHAT THEY THINK WILL LOOK GOOD AND GROW WELL IN YOUR ENVIRONMENT. THEY ALSO WILL COME AND LOOK AT ANYTHING THAT YOU FEEL MIGHT NOT BE GROWING WELL. THEY WILL REPLACE ANYTHING THAT DIES. I WOULD RECOMMEND SMITH'S
Description of Work: SMITH'S LANDSCAPING IN LEBANON PUT IN A PAVER PATIO 14 X 18, THEN CAME IN AND LANDSCAPED ALL AROUND THE PATIO. WE HAD TWO VERY LARGE RIVER BIRCH TREES PUT IN.
