Replaced a 28yrs old system that they originall installed and maintained. Gave me great price on a new heat pump system and the installers were great. Hopefuly they can keep this new system running for another 28 years.

They did a fine job removing old equipment and installing the new system. Fast and efficient. We bid this with other companies and there pricing was much better.

This old house (1896) has a boiler in the basement with radiators for hot water heat. After living with window A/C units for 20 years we decided to get central air. Received a very fair bid from Kent at R&W. We set a date and they showed up[ exactly when promised, worked for 3 solid days to install air handler in the attic and 3 supplies to the upstairs bedrooms and 3 supply lines in corners to 3 main floor rooms. Decided on a Rheem 2.5 ton heat pump system. Very clean workers, very efficient installation. Has been working like a charm for the last couple of weeks. I know if anything "goes wrong" or needs attention, this local company will be here to fix it, but not really expecting any problems.

Excellent! The Tech was able to diagnose the cause and ordered and replaced the auto gas valve. The furnace hasn’t failed since. It’s been about 4 weeks since the repair, and all is well!

Arrived when scheduled and had problem fixed within an hour

I had called an HVAC company right around the corner and they couldn't send someone out till the following week sometime. I then called R&W and they said they could get someone out in 2-3 hours. The tech was very professional and diagnosed the problem in less than a minute and informed me the faulty part was under warranty and that they'd take care of all that at their office. He replaced the part, checked the rest of the system, went over everything with me and was gone within 30 minutes. I've been a home owner for 25 years and that was probably one of the most efficient service calls I've ever had. great job.

I originally called my home warranty company. They required me to use a company that had an "F" rating. This company diagnosed the problem as a bad reversing valve. This would have meant an expensive part and major surgery on my A/C system by a company that's unable to properly diagnose the problem. I decided to get a second opinion from R&W and I'm glad I did. I'd rather pay for a minor fix than have a home warranty pay for a major one!

The repair technician arrived the same morning I called, had the part in hand and installed by 2 pm the same day! Great job!

They diagnosed the problem. They took care of that the same day. One technician came out to do the service.

Inspected unit and quickly diagnosed problem as a leak in the line. Replaced refrigerant line-recovered product left in line to save on cost. Replaced coil under warranty.

Called company. Made an appointment and they called before the appointment. Showed up right on time. Took about 30 minutes to check and clean furnace and replace furnace air filter.

They were very open to discussion technical details with me where as others were not as open to discussion. On top of that they were a low bidder, a better deal by 10 or 12%. Very open dialogue concerning my unique requirements.

Very well. The owner / manager came out himself and determined that one of the small valves on the unit had worked itself loose, possibly from changes in temperature. It was possible that the valve had not been fully closed down upon initial install and had opened just enough to start the leak. He made sure all was safe, and explained how the valves operated and how to maintain the equipment.

It went very well, no problems. They brought in window fans to keep the home cool while they were working on it.

The cooling coils on my 16+ year old residential HVAC system began leaking refrigerant, so rather than pump money into a system that was at the end of its life, I decided it was time to bite the bullet and replace the whole thing (gas furnace and central air unit). I obtained 3 estimates; Kent from R&W asked about what I wanted/needed in a system whereas the other 2 companies' sales people wanted to 'sell me' a pre-packaged system. R&W was in the middle as far as price but the Rheem system they spec'ed for me was what I was looking for and, in my opinion, was the best value for the efficiency and reliability I was looking for. The techs that installed my system arrived on time (actually, 15 minutes early) and were extremely professional and methodical in their removal of the old systems and the installation of the new one. I could tell by overhearing some of their banter back and forth that they enjoyed their jobs and enjoyed working together. When they were done, they took me on a tour of the new system, showed me the manuals for all they subsystems, showed me how to program the thermostat and answered any/all questions I had. My basement isn't messy, but they left the area where they installed the equipment cleaner than it was when they arrived. Overall, I am highly impressed with R&W from the start to the finish of this process.

I had estimate from other company chose R&W. Price and explanation of install was professional and not pushy.They took care of rebates of one thousand dollars which I have recieved. Crew that installed were experienced and courteous, they explained each step as work was being done. They removed old furnace and sweeped floor. My loan was delayed three weeks and R&W very accommodating!I would deffinitly recommend!

We are sorry that we didn't go with them. They were a couple of hundred more, but he said that he could have adjusted a little. He called afterwards to check and see if we were still interested. He followed up to find out why, which we thought was pretty conscientious. We will definitely go with him in the future.

Great company. All representatives were very courteous and friendly. Would definitely do future business with and recommend.

The representative, Kent, came and gave us an estimate on a new furnace. We are on a tight budget and he was very understanding of that. We liked the fact the there was no high pressure sales pitch, and he was very patient about answering questions. We went with R & W's estimate as they were within our budget and the furnace we went with (Goodman) is decent and affordable. (They carry Goodman and Trane). The installation went smoothly in one day, they cleaned up well after themselves and were polite. They did a single vent pipe installation and a few days later my husband did more research & decided he wanted a dual pipe (fresh air intake) as well. He called Kent, they came back out a few days later, no problem, and installed the other pipe. The furnace is very quiet, works well, and we're toasty warm. All in all it was a good experience.

I called and got an appointment for servicing our furnace within a week. The person I set the appointment with was friendly and patient. The furnace tech was right on time, friendly and professional. He got right to work on our very old furnace and did routine maintenance. We had been hearing a squealing noise, which he said came from the bearings rather than the fan belt. He oiled the system which stopped the squealing. He took the time to explain to me the current state of the furnace (old, but not having to be replaced immediately). I appreciated the fact he didn't push for a new furnace right away, and seemed knowledgeable and honest about the condition of this furnace, and gave me some good advice about when to invest in a new one as parts for a furnace this old are expensive to replace. He also told me what to listen for as these bearings wear out. I really liked the fact the this company is available for 24 hour service, but he pointed out that with parts needed, this furnace couldn't be fixed at a moment's notice. They do, however, have some kind of heaters available to keep pipes from freezing in that situation. After I asked about an estimate for a new furnace, he said he would mention it to their estimate person and though I said we wouldn't be giving them immediate business as far as a new furnace, I got a call the same afternoon and we have set an appointment to look at options for a new furnace when the time comes. A good experience all the way around.
