Perfect. Very professional, excellent clean up. Couldn't be better.

Went perfectly as expected. Merlena did a Fall cleanup for us two years ago and did an excellent job. This summer, my yard is now free of weeds, and overgrown shrubs have been properly pruned and trimmed back neatly. In addition, they edged around the front tree, and all bushes in the front and at the side of house. My yard is now ready for mulch and any bulbs I want to put in at this time. I was away from home when they worked on our yard, but my husband, who was home, was very impressed with their work. They worked very hard, very professionally and I highly recommend them.

Excellent. Professional and polite crew. No damage to yard despite a lot of heavy loads moving across it. The work looks perfect. They sourced all materials in the local community. Even the one issue in the job (a cracked flagstone) was handled by the owner personally and will be resolved to my satisfaction. Will definitely use again and recommend to friends.

His crew actually had an opening before the date we had agreed on. We were very happy with that. He brought a crew of at 5 men & did the work to our satisfaction. He gave us the 10% discount since we could not decide what deal to buy. We were very happy with their work & would definitely use them in the future & recommend them.

Great. Easy to work with. Very professional. The only issue was the coupons posted on Angie's list (still as of 7/11/15) according to Dan were no longer valid. In spite of that, we still used him. They did a really nice job and our yard looks very nice!

Our yard looks magnificent! We could not be more pleased. Dan was an absolute pleasure to work with. He was professional, knowledgeable and very patient. He sought our input along the way and kept us informed as to the progress and minor changes he suggested. His landscaping plan for our yard was beautiful. It was obvious to us that he takes great pride in his work as does his staff who were also great to work with. They were all punctual and hardworking and cleaned up each day. We were so pleased that we have asked him back in the fall to help with more projects. Thanks to Dan our yard is gorgeous!

Excellent. Dan originally said they would schedule the work in early June but let me know if he had a cancellation. Luckily he did have a cancellation and did the work a few weeks early.

also came out and did some prep on the weeds. I started contracting for mulching/spring clean up when my gardens got big. Past 4 yards of mulch or so just started taking me forever. So Melena is the second company I have used. Used them last year. Loved their work. Used them again this year. I have gardens full of bulbs and perennials and they manage to work around all that. Edges look terrific. No mulch left on the driveway or sidewalk. Came home from work and it was all done. I wouldn't have known they were there everything was so neat except for the fact my gardens were all mulched and beautiful. They will trim too but I like to do that myself. My only "complaint" is the habit of mulching right up against my tree trunks, so is my little ritual to go around and pull all the mulch back away from the trunks. Oh well. I will use them again next year for sure.

everything went very well - Dan and his crew were out at my house last year and I called Dan to come out again this year since everything went so smooth last year - Last year Dan edged all of my beds and put down a good layer of mulch - I didn't think I needed the edging and mulch this year so I just wanted to get my flower beds cleaned up and ready for the spring/summer - Dan called a couple of days ahead of time and told me when his crew was coming out - The crew showed up and they worked very hard (2 man crew) for 8-10 hours - did a marvelous job - cleaned up after themselves very well - 2nd year in a row that I have used Dan and I am very happy with his service

First used Dan Melena in the spring of 2014. Based on a great experience, it was easy to go directly and exclusively back to him for this bigger project. As the first time, Dan promptly responded to the initial call and met in few days later. Created an initial plan based on drawings of the proposed deck, which wasn't built yet. Scheduled time to complete the work based on the anticipated completion of the porch/deck. Made great alternatives to my ideas. The work was completed in two days the week after the porch/deck was completed. The construction contractor even commented on how quickly the landscaping was done. Dan's crew did a great job in trying weather conditions. They were meticulous in building the retaining wall and steps. The plantings look great - we've already received compliments. Melena Landscaping has earned my highest recommendation.

We were having a really bad cold snap. the temperature was probably below zero. They came out the next day and cut down those trees. He didn't even make me wait a week or anything. He came right out and did that. The workers were really good. The owner came down with a helper to cut down the trees. They both did a really good job. They cleaned up the area pretty nicely despite adverse weather conditions. They took away all the debris and everything. It looked like the trees were never there. What stood out the most was how prompt and courteous they were and at a fair price.

responsive to email, set up job parameters and they executed project while I was out of town. Everything went along very easily.

This was second time I have hired the company and they were great. They are very precise and prompt. They stay until the work is done and they stayed until after seven at night to ensure all of the work was done. They clean up well and are a great company. I will be using them again next month.

Dan and his crew did an AWESOME job! Even with the landscaping completely gone the yard looks great! I am totally pleased with their work. Dan provided quick response and worked with us to understand just what we wanted and brought it all full circle.

Dan and his crew were out in December and finished cleaning up the lawn for us, they even worked in the snow! They did a nice job and took the leaves away. Once the leaves were off the Honeysuckle bushes they came back, in the snow again, and trimmed them very nicely. We are going to call them again for some mowing, landscaping, and fall cleanup again.

I requested an estimate and received a call back the very next day (other companies took weeks getting back to me). I needed a full-on, overgrown property clean-up with lots of weeds, plants, and trees to be removed. Dan came out within a few days to give an estimate, and it seemed very fair for all the work necessary - I have a small property. He was extremely professional, recommended what needed to be removed to keep my foundation safe, and gave suggestions for getting the job done in my price range. My grass was mowed within a week and the landscaping work was done about 3 weeks after the estimate. I got a notice in my email that they would be coming today and they completed all the expected work in one visit. I was not home either time and when I returned, the work was done to my satisfaction - not a stray weed, vine, or leaf to be found. My home is now ready for whatever I may want to plant and no longer looks like the neighborhood haunted house. This was my first venture into hiring a yard service and I am deeply impressed with Melena Landscaping!
