They did as we asked were very good with everything.

Bought the Angies List Big deal - totally worth it. Cleanup up all my landscaping, sprayed weeds, removed some plants. Good deal, and would hire again.

I bought a big deal for 4 hours of landscaping then decided to add several hours to REALLY clean up my yard. Dan came within a few days to give me a bid & we discussed the extra projects & cost estimate. He and his partner were able to fit me in their schedule and performed work that exceeded my expectations. Dan even called me to see if I wanted a cut/trip in 2 weeks (which I did). They did a great job and I look forward to hiring them again.

I had some tree roots from a catalpa tree that I had to cut down earlier in the year that needed to be removed. I wanted to reclaim the area adjacent to my back patio and eventually plant new shrubs, etc. Plus the old roots were giving off new shoots throughout the yard. I started working on removing it myself, but the job was too big for one guy to handle - and I wound up damaging a gutter drain pipe that was buried underneath the roots. Not to mention that it turned my backyard into an incredible eyesore - with growing shoots and turned-up dirt. I couldn't leave this undone for very much longer... I called up Melena while shopping around a few other landscaping companies. He happened to be in the area that day, and was able to stop by and give a quote for the work within a matter of 15-20 minutes. The price seemed very reasonable, and I scheduled with him for the work to be done two weeks later. On the day of, the team came by on time and was done within a few hours, and was able to repair the damaged pipe, remove much of the old root system, and clear the area of debris. On top of that, they replaced one of the patio pavers that I had to pry up, re-stacked much of the retaining wall, and re-leveled the soil - tasks that I didn't specify but I'm glad they were done (a nice bonus). Basically, all I have to do now is finish stacking the wall and planting. These guys were a huge help.

They called me first and left a message. I called back and got an immediate response. We couldn't find a time to meet so we talked on the phone as he walked around the house. I described what I wanted and when I got home that day, it was done.

I was pleasantly surprised that they came the week before scheduled time. The two men worked hard and did a beautiful job. I had been very embarrassed by the condition my yard was in, and I am not able to do such a big job. Now it looks polished. The gentleman who came to do the original estimate was pleasant and took plenty of time to be sure on what I had in mind and to explain everything. He was also one of the two who came to work. I would recommend Melena's Landscaping to everyoneand would be glad to have them back again in the future.

It went fairly well. I don't really think they spent as much time as they said they would but I think it went okay. They told me they were going to be there in the afternoon when I was going to be there and they ended coming in the morning when I wasn't there.

Dan was prompt in returning calls. He explained what needed to be trimmed. The landscaping look professional. All bushes were nicely shaped. All trimmings were removed.

It went very well. I was satisfied with the work they did. They were very courteous and efficient. They left my flower beds neat and weed free. Job well done.

We had just moved into a home that had very overgrown landscaping. Dan and a helper came out and cleaned out all of the front beds in one morning and hauled away all of the debris. They worked hard and did a great job. Now our front yard isn't an eyesore!

Dan was very responsive to our initial inquiry and provided an estimate and performed the work in less than a week. He was professional and very friendly. We also asked him about additional landscaping services and he gave his honest opinions and fair prices. We would absolutely hire him again.

Scheduling and arranging for the work to be done was no problem at all. They went out of their way to accomodate my schedule. Arrived exactly on time, super friendly and responsive. I wasn't at home the whole time but from what I saw they worked efficiently. I came home to very neatly stacked wood, perfect sizes for the fire pit. I plan to contact them to come back and do more work.

Very pleased with the work done by Melena landscaping. I had purchased an Angies List coupon but added more work since they had time to continue a little longer that day. Would definitely recommend them and will use them again.

They were very professional - showed up on time and gave a fair estimate. Did the work when they said they would and left a clean yard behind. Excellent work and no complaints at all!

Dan and I made an appointment for 7 am on a Friday and he pulled in the driveway at exactly 7 am. He and his crew arrived promptly at 8 on the day scheduled for the work and did an excellent job on all of the tasks. He is a perfectionist, just like me! I am more than pleased with Dan, with his work ethic and with his work.

Very well the guys were very curtious, prompt, professional and thorough.

The work was great. Everything was done to our satisfaction. He was on time and worked efficiently. We were happy with the work.

Dan and his crew were fantastic. I have never seen people work so hard and Dan was right in there. We have a lot of flower beds and they were terribly overgrown due to my husband and myself working a lot of hours and my hand surgeries. They had to come in and tear out so much ground cover, tree suckers, old plants, etc. The first day they came out, they worked for 12 hours! They were very professional and the yard looks beautiful. We have had so many compliments and now we are enjoying our yard again! We are so thankful to Dan and we look forward to working with him again.

We had purchased a big deal for the service, and it worked out fine. They were quick to get back to me, to schedule it, and to get it completed. It was pretty easy and I didn't have any problems.

I called Melena Landscaping to request a quote for landscape removal. Dan was able to provide one that very day. He walked the area, asked the necessary questions, and wrote the quote that evening. We had several other companies provide quotes throughout the week. Dan's was slightly less than the others, but price is not the only reason we went with his company. We felt confidant that he would do a good job, and he exceeded our expectations. We had many old, overgrown bushes around the house that we wanted removed. We marked the bushes we wanted to keep, and Dan's team worked carefully not to disturb them. They completed the job in a single day, cleaned up every bit of debris, and even sprayed the area to ensure they got it all. We will definitely use his services again!

They did a fantastic job! They were prompt, clean, efficient and polite. The price was reasonable.
