Very pleased and satisfied I have had two roofs done by Richard and his crew in the last 3 months my rental and my personal home I can’t say enough about the quality and workmanship on both jobs I would recommend them to anyone who asks.

We needed our roof repaired after storm winds knocked a tree onto our roof. After assessment, the roof needed replacement as well. We contacted several roofing contractors and chose Go To Guys for the job. From the estimate to the finishing work, they were professional with clear and responsive communication. Richard explained everything that needed to be done and how it would be completed and by whom. We needed an electrical mast replaced, so that required extra coordination and resources. The cost was fair and the warranty offered is excellent. They promptly performed the job. The crew was timely and the job complete on schedule with thorough site cleaned up. Workmanship was spot on. The roof looks great. I highly recommend them and would hire them again.

It was a pleasure working with Richard Jackson of Go To Guys Exteriors. He & they did an excellent job on our house -a special flat rubberize patch on a 3 story Victorian in the Oakley/Cinti area and we had torrential rains right after to test! He worked on the job himself and put his own sweat on the project. We were ripped off by the previous roofers who are long out of business and they did not reroof this particular area, Not every one is honest or quality in this field but from what we experienced, the Go To Guys do an excellent job.

The management was down-to-earth, but professional. The sale was very low-pressure, and we exchanged several easy phone calls to clarify details. We got estimates from four other companies, each with radically different opinions about what needed to be done to our roof, but the Go to Guys rep brought convincing professional experience to the table that didn't translate into up-selling (or talking us into short-term fixes). The Go to Guys Exteriors price was in line with others for complete roof & gutters, but without the high-pressure sales tactics that came with some of our other quotes. The roofing crew was professional and friendly. Management indicated that they aren't the only company that uses this crew, which seemed strange; but I have no complaints so far about the quality of work. Everyone did great work, and management was on-site for several hours both days. The crew's cleanup in the front yard was great; it was less good in the backyard where they had to contend with a deck. We figured it would take the crew two days (and it did), but they sure did their best to complete it early by staying late the first day! The team the company used for the gutters was less impressive (they rescheduled after saying they didn't bring tall enough ladders the first day to avoid going up on the roof, then ended up going up on the roof anyway when they returned); at least one seam drips a little bit. But compared to other reviews for gutters I've read, these seem like pretty minor complains for a job that's otherwise solid. I'd definitely hire this company again, and will certainly get a quote from them when we're ready to do siding/painting.

We called about roof repair and the go to guys (Richard) came out quickly and walked the roof thoroughly. Pointed out damaged areas and advised us on what needed to be done. It involved our insurance company and he was there every step of the way. We needed to do nothing! It was handled professionally and quickly by Richard. He was even here to walk the roof with our agent. The tear off and replacement was done in 2 days and we have a VERY large roof. The quality of workmanship done was the best we’ve seen. No more leaks from old flashing and all repairs done properly. We will be happy for many years to come.

They showed up looked at damaged siding and said they would call me in a couple days with their estimate to fix siding. They also gave me a price to replace all siding.They were at 19000 dollars but offered twenty percent off coupon. This was 8000 dollars more than the other company you recommended. After the rep left my house I never heard from them again. They never called with a price to repair the siding. So both companies you recommended for siding repair were a bust.

We recently purchased a house in Madeira that was covered in hardboard (aka Masonite, pressed board) siding that was badly damaged and rotting off. We obtained more than 1 bid on the job, and were happy to find that Go 2 Guys had both a more competitive bid and they intended to remove all of the old siding rather than simply installing new siding on top of the old (which another company had suggested). Although there were a couple of hiccups along the way (got started a couple of days later than intended, confusion surrounding removal of the electric service line for the installation, and the original shutters ordered were too small), the crew did amazing work, and they went above and beyond to make sure we were happy (including replacing the shutters). Overall, we are very happy that we chose to work with this company. Their owners were extremely responsive and approachable, their crew did great work, and everything is under warranty. They even helped us find a very fairly priced painter to address trim work, doors, etc that needed painting. We intend to work with this company again when it is time for roof replacement. Highly recommend.

We originally hired Go To Guys Exteriors for new siding, gutters and roof repairs. We met with Mark for the estimate and review of the project, pricing, materials, colors, etc. He was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He was very straightforward and did not use any high pressure sales tactics or gimmicks we had experienced with several other contractors. Several days later Richard (the company owner) came by with Mark to confirm project details. At this point I should say that our house is very old, a little odd and has had many renovations throughout the years. One portion of our roof is flat over an addition that was joined to the existing structure then to a patio enclosure that was installed some time later. Needless to say, over the years and with each change and renovation the roof as well as the exterior of the house was a bit of a patchwork. After thoroughly examining the roof and consulting with a flat roofing expert Richard told us that the roof could be repaired but considering the age of the roof over the main structure of the house and the already existing patchwork between it and the additions a total re-roofing would be something we should consider. After weighing the cost of repairing the roof versus totally replacing the roof and joining everything together at the same time we decided to replace the roof and we are very happy we did. The “leak” we were originally concerned about involved our fireplace chimney not being properly flashed and that exterior wall and supports were rotted and needed to be replaced. So not only does the new roof look amazing we are confident that the job was done totally and correctly this time. Richard and Mark were both very “hands-on” this project and truly concerned that the installation crews were meeting their very high standards. There are not enough words to convey just how thrilled we are with the work done on our home by Go To Guys Exteriors. From the quality of the materials and workmanship to the professionalism and hard work of the installation crews, not to mention the knowledge, honesty and true concern of Richard and Mark from start to finish of this project we could not be happier. The transformation is truly amazing. A month after the project if we are outside working we still have people stopping to say how great the house looks!

Great communication and performed the work exactly as scheduled. Large roof two days from start to finish ensuring that there would be no water damage if it rained during the job. The work crew was very polite and cleaned everything up and took away excess material promptly. We are very happy with the job and have recommended to others.

Rich and his crew did an excellent job: they advised me of exactly which materials they were using and why. As well as how they were being installed. They did a great job!

This company was knowledgeable, reliable, courteous and very professional. My husband and I was very impressed with Richard Jackson and his team. They are a rarity in this day and age. Honesty and integrity. Highly recommended. They rebuild our shed, put a new roof on it and painted it. They also repaired some flashing that blew off our house and repaired a leak around the vent on our roof.

Company worked well with understanding the need to protect recently installed gutters and not damaging those in order to make the roof and new gutter system seamless. Took extra steps to ensure the new roof looked its best and would be at its most efficient for several years.

Better than my expectations. I am a very demanding customer because I request, and expect, quality materials to be used and attention to detail paid in the application and construction process. I spoke with every employee on the job and was really comfortable with how they went about breaking down and then residing and roofing my barn. Everyone on the job was respectful and professional - and kept a very tidy work area- and I highly recommend if you are looking for siding, gutters downspouts, etc. in the Dayton, to Cincinnati area you look up Richard Jackson and his crews. Awesome. There was only one layer of shingles on our house. They were completely removed and replaced. Painted the exposed vent pipe black to match the shingles. Had two corner pieces of aluminum on our dormers that were loose and they tacked them back in place. Very professional and quick. Took about 6 hours with great cleanup of the property.

Go to Guys did a free estimate and noticed wind damage from a storm earlier in the week. They came out and worked with the insurance adjuster and helped walk me through the process of dealing with the insurance company. They came and knocked the roof out in a few hours and even shingled my shed so it matches the house!

Excellent crews that came and done the work. They were very professional and worked hard, We really appreciated that all were gentlemen and there was no foul language. Everyday they cleaned up there surplus materials and used a magnet on the yard to make sure there were no nails to get in our tires.

They were very professional installing my roof & shed, they also replaced siding on one side of my home, when they left my home everything was cleaned up it was as if they had not been here. I was very pleased with their quality of work and if I needed another service I would definitely call them.

Our experience with Go To Guys owned by Richard Jackson was an excellent one. To begin with, despite our roof being 20 years old, Richard helped in our obtaining some insurance monies. He was right there to point out our roof issues with the claims adjuster. As the work started, Richard was on site to explain the project to his crew. He continued to check in on the progress and was there at the end to inspect the work. It is rare in this day and age to receive such good old fashioned service!!
