Attic Experts Insulation

The crew arrived on time. They explained everything they were doing throughout the whole process. My attic is now insulated to R 60. My home was left clean. Great job!

It was excellent. Arrived right on time, explained the job, asked if any questions, kept us informed as the job progressed and finished when they said they would. Cleaned as they went and when job was done. Could not have been any better.

They arrived on-time for both the initial appointment and the actual insulation day. All personnel were very professional and did a great job. Found a work around in two trouble spot areas allowing the insulation to be blown in without having to cut holes in the drywall. Great job.

We were able to get an appointment quickly for a free inspection. While the attic insulation was in great shape, the 2 exhaust fans and venting appeared to be the issue. In less than a week, they came back to perform the needed work (replaced fan motors, properly attached exhaust pipes in the attic to the fans and even touched up some ceiling paint around the fans. The service we received from Brian, Sid and Joe was outstanding and the price was very fair. I would definitely use them again and recommend them for any attic project.

Staff was very courteous and kept us aware of progress at all times. They went beyond the simple insulation job. They left the place spotless! The sales promises of money saving might be a little optimistic, but it was well worth the cost.

I went exceptionally well. First, I thought I had already posted this review, but will repeat here. All aspects of this transaction were pleasant.. from meeting the first rep at a local Homearama, to calling back a couple years later when I was ready to act. The sit-down with the sales rep in my home was extremely easy and pleasant. Pricing was provided, promises were made about the installation and crew... and ALL went perfectly according to the expectations that were generated. The job went the way we would wish every service purchase would go. Not a single complaint. AND.. the after effect of a newly insulated crawl space has shown its worth. Monthly energy bills had routinely crossed the $300 threshold in the depths of winter and summer... but no more. The product sold itself, but the service made it enjoyable.

The men seemed knowledgeable and competent. The estimator was friendly and informative, and the installers were as well. They seemed to do a good job and were neat and tidy. I cannot yet comment on how much of a difference the insulation makes on either the comfort in the house or the utility bills. Time and winter weather will tell.

JB our sales engineer was very informative and detailed about the quality and work that would be performed. It was an easy decision to go with Attic Experts because of JB. Marty and Joe did a very professional installation. Very prompt, courteous and explained every step of the process. They provided plenty of before and after pictures of the job as well. All involved were extremely knowledgeable.

I received a quote from JB. He allowed me to select my level of blown insulation and priced the job accordingly. He established a date and time. I received a call from Joe and Marty prior to when I was expecting the installers. They came in, took pictures of the attic, put up battens around the soffits, installed blown insulation to create an R38 barrier. Once completed, they took pictures and asked if I would like to see the work. They also wrapped my hot water heater. When they were finished, they vacuumed the area around the access to the attic. I was very Satisfied with their work.

It went as perfectly as it could go. The sit-down, the discussion, the sale, the appointment, the installation... and, most importantly, the results. All perfect. I'd be completely surprised if anything non-positive has ever been reported for Attic Experts. Personally, I've dealt with plumbers, cable installers, electricians, concrete, landscapers...on and on... and while none has ever graded poor in my book, none has ever graded higher than this. This experience was how it's supposed to be, so much so, that even though almost four months have passed, I still wanted to make this entry with Angie's List.

I had Attic Experts insulate my attic approximately five years ago and was extremely pleased with their work. I subsequently remodeled one of our bathrooms and removed the ceiling as part of the process. As a result I needed the duct installed for the exhaust fan and insulation added to get things back to where they should be. I contacted Attic Experts, and even though it ws a small job, they worked with me and took care of my needs. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again and am glad to recommend them to others.

Both were prompt; they informed us what would be done in detail before and during installation. They are very thorough, very congenial. Thoroughly cleaned carpet areas used before leaving.

The crew arrived on time (7am) and completed the work in 6 hours. They were professional and maintained a clean work site. The installers took before and after photos that showed their work as well as helped me get into the attic to inspect their work. I was very impressed with the quality of their work.

I could not have asked for a smoother project. JB, the estimator, was punctual, polite (He took off his shoes!), and thorough. He went over, in great detail, the different options available and the materials that were going to be used. The installer, Marty and Joe, were punctual and polite. I was informed of the entire process before the project commenced. Along each step of the process, I was shown what was being accomplished. Upon completion, I was shown the completed project. Payment was not discussed until I was fully satisfied with the work. From start to finish, the entire process was PAINLESS. We have already noticed a huge difference in our homes efficiency. I cannot thank Attic Experts enough for their amazing work. I would HIGHLY recommend Attic Experts. Gentlemen, job well done. You have a customer for life!

It went very well. Sid performed our assessment and was very prompt on arrival and very professional. He took pictures in the attic to show where the problems were and what needed to be done. He prepared 4 options to fix the problem and did not apply pressure to choose any of them. I have decided to have them fix the insulation problems and will post another review when the work is completed.

Workers were friendly. I liked how they would brief us as to what they were working on. They had us check the work before we paid.

I am very pleased with the work that Attic Experts did. I was impressed by the company from the beginning of the estimation process. JB, the sales engineer, was the only estimator who took into consideration the fact that, because I have a tri-level house, a portion of the attic abuts an interior wall and that the shared wall would require insulation as well. So, included in the already very competitive quote was installing a vapor barrier and insulated panels up to the roof line of that wall. When the day came for the insulation instal, Marty and Mike showed up early and ready to work. They were very courteous and pleasant. They explained each step in the process in a respectful way, so that I was aware of their progress at all times. They took pictures, of the space and sent them to me, and they invited me to look at the attic both before and after they finished the job. When they were finished, Marty and Mike cleaned up the work space, and it was as though they had never been here. One more consideration for me was the fact that I am a woman, and while my husband and I share the home repair decisions, I tend to be the one who gathers data and quotes for us to review. Furthermore, I am almost always the person who is present when the work is being done. I am pleased to say that I was treated like a person with a brain and in no way felt belittled by the representatives of Attic Experts who came to my house. The pictures I have attached are of the attic side of the wall in my upstairs office before and after the insulation and vapor barrier were installed.

It went very well! The installers showed up on time and worked hard at completing the work in a complete and thorough manner that would meet or exceed our expectations. They came up with two very creative solutions to our specialized problem that allowed for a better outcome of the project. They were very professional and my wife and I were very pleased with both how they performed the work as well as how they cleaned up. The only "ding" I have for the company is that the office didn't call to confirm our appointment the day before and I had difficulty reaching the office to make sure they were coming. Outside of that, we were very pleased with how they handled the work and also that the price we were quoted was the final price, even though the installers may have used more materials or more time than was originally anticipated.
