About us

We have been in business for over 65 years. Wells Pest Control has been family owned & operated since 1946. It was originally founded by Jim Wells working as a bar tender in the mid 1940's. He realized a need for controlling the insects he saw while working and soon found many people had the same problem. From there he started a small business which he ran from his home which soon became a necessity for many people. Jim was also very big in the harness racing industry and his brother Bob Wells was a jockey and in the movie "Green Grass of Wyoming" which was filmed in 1948 at the Fairfield County Fairgrounds. Jim retired in the mid 1980's at which time he sold the business to his son Steve Wells.

Servicing all of central Ohio & surrounding areas since 1946. We provide pest control service for commercial & residential structures which includes complete interior & exterior treatments. We also offer maintenance programs on a monthly, bi-monthly, & quarterly basis. In addition we have a spring & fall exterior preventative programs available. Beer line coil cleaning service is also a popular service that we offer. We now service small animals, birds, bats,snakes, & many more

Well's eliminated problem. Was told it would take several weeks for insectacide to completely eliminate the bugs. Came back a 2nd time at no charge to spray problem areas. Would definitely use again.

Poor service!!!
Description of Work: I sent Wells Pest Control an email using Angie's list. No contact I sent a 2nd email. I even called and left a vmail. It's been 2 weeks. No call, email or response.

Overall this was an extremely positive experience.
Description of Work: After discovering termite swarmers I called Wells Thur-O Pest control in the morning. That afternoon a service representative was at my home and evaluated the situation, explaining my termite problems and how to control them. By late afternoon my termites had been treated. I was extremely pleased with the fast response and the professional service.
